I brought my family for a late lunch and it was terrible. The rice had too much water in it and the beef and broccoli was very salty. The manager was understanding and took it off my tab, but I really wanted my food correct like it use to be.

Sometimes P.F. Changs is a hit or miss. My experience a couple of weeks ago wasn’t so great… wasn’t bad. Ehhh just ok . We came in around 9pm. Couldn’t decide on what to eat so we picked two of our go to meals; chicken friend rice & beef with broccoli! Two dishes that are hard to mess up ! Well… My rice was way over cooked or old. The rice that comes with the beef & broccoli was hard also. That def put a dapper on our meal ! I tried to pick around & eat most of the chicken . After looking at some of the pics & reviews maybe I’ll go with the Singapore noodles next time ! Now … The next time will be a long time from now lol.

After a night of trying to get into a hot new restaurant downtown, the husband and I said screw it and decided we were craving PF Changs. We got the special on the menu for two for $ 40. And it was delicious. The service was fair and the food was very good. A great PF Changs experience. I would go back!

This use to be one of my favorite places to eat — and now it is finally marked off my list! The last two visits have been less than desirable and both were special occasions. The food is very good, but the service is horrible. The servers act like the could care less that you are there dining with them. So rushed like its a race to get a table turned. The pace of serving between appetizers and the meal is also horrible. We also asked for hot green tea and the server brought us room temperature tea. She was upset when we asked her to bring us another pot that was actually hot. They also have changed their lighting. You can hardly see the menu. We had to get out our cellphones to have enough light to see what we wanted to order. To top it off, there was some kind of a water leak this last time we were there(Dec 6th) and they proceeded to suction the floor with high powered suction machines that were so loud you could not speak to the person across the table and them be able to hear you. When we complained — it was like too bad. They should have shut down the restaurant rather than let their guest experience an unpleasant dining experience. Our server didn’t even ask us if we wanted desert and just brought the check and walked off. I will not be back! There are too many nice restaurants who want your business.

Used to be a go to place for a quick drink and a small plate, but of late it has been sub par. The food is not that good, it is either over seasoned or under cooked. The spring rolls were tasteless, the sweet and sour chicken too spicy and the cashew chicken tasted frozen. Looks like they are going through some management problems as well. Our server was more interested in turning the table and also could not take an order right, she was not interested in being there and it was evident. Won’t be going back anytime soon.

I go for the gluten free options, but quality is not always at the top. Pei Wei is better, but doesn’t have as many gluten free options. Staff is average at best… For the prices I expect more overall.

We came for a birthday lunch and had Great experience, great food and great service! I had pork dim sum and stir fry eggplant. The dim sum was good but the eggplant was terrific. Crispy outside and soft inside with a sweet and lightly spicy sauce, it was delicious. They are so consistent it’s hard to have a bad experience and this one did not disappoint!

Perfect place to have a late lunch. Three of us stopped in around 1:00 on a weekday for a lunch between appointments. I was very happy how fast the service was without feeling like it was rushed. Our waitress was outstanding; she was helpful in answering questions & offering suggestions, she was courteous and attentive. The food was excellent. House salads came out quickly followed(with perfect timing) by our entrées: Ginger chicken & broccoli, almond & cashew chicken, and The Buddha’s Feast(for the vegetarian). All of us were happy with our meal choices. The lunch portions were large but the prices were not, so that was great. The restaurant was clean & comfortable. The one & only drawback is the parking which can be hellacious no matter what time of day you visit, but that’s anywhere on West End so it’s to be expected. All in all, we had a great time & we’ll be back soon.

P. F Changs was at one point, my favorite restaurant as far as chains go. About 3 years ago, I started noticing changes but still kept going hoping it was a one-time thing but after today, I won’t be going back. Honestly, Panda Express has better food, cheaper prices and they get my to-go orders right. As I said, several years ago, I noticed the food was just not as good as it used to be. Our favorite dish was changed and there were no veggies in it anymore. Today was the 2nd time in a row that I’ve ordered a to-go order and they got it wrong. I had to drive all the way back to get my order right and no one offered to comp at least one of the entrees for my trouble. When I called to let them know the order was wrong, I got excuses instead of just an «I’m sorry». Once we got home and started to eat our dinner, it was just bad. The meat was so tough and sinewy that we just chewed and chewed and chewed. It was so overcooked. The sauce was so salty… it felt like I was eating warmed up beef jerky. This was a $ 57 order… I could’ve gone to Stoney River or Maggiano’s and had a really great meal for that price. If I’m craving Chinese-American, I’ll eat at Panda Express. I’ve eaten there a half-dozen times and it is always good, fresh and the meats are tender. Good-bye, P.F. Changs… my 12 year affair with you is over…$ 57 for a really bad meal is ridiculous in this day and time… Nashville is full of wonderful restaurants with really good foodat your same prices. I feel like you are resting on your laurels and letting quality take a back seat.

Another chain review. I really don’t like to do this, so will specify, just this location bc different owners, different experience. This one has been around since 2000 or possibly 1 year earlier, not exactly sure. We used to eat at the bar because always crowded. These days can get a table relatively, but bar is still fun. We always have the lettuce wraps… well because they are the best ever. And really, the original. I don’t recommend Lunch portions. Small and more rice. Get the dinner and take some home. I was disappointed when we bought lunch and thought… man for a few dollars more, we could almost have 2 times the portion and that is dinner and next day lunch. Yes you heard me right. I love love love their chicken noodle like soup. Their noodles are a white noodle and they look like bamboo shoots. These are not bamboo shoots so they are carbs. But whatever… it is great chicken soup for 8 or 9 dollars. If soup is not your go to, their eggplant dish is sooo good for vegetarians. Their Black pepper shrimp is wonderful and the the Kung Pow is also our go to. They have Dan Dan noodles too. All favorites. We also have had their Tuna Sashimi. Save that for your Japanese rest. visit, unless you really need some. Also the dumplings. You can get those at the grocery and they are good, but spend your money where you can’t get it somewhere else. They used to have a corking thing where if you bought some wine and did not finish it, you could take it home. I don’t know if they do that anymore. That was about 7 years ago when we heard about it. Most servers are extremely knowledgeable. If you don’t like one. ask for another .The managers are very good. Bathrooms were clean. Parking… hmmm…either circle, park on the street or go to the garage. The parking lot is NOT easy, but have faith, someone is always pulling out. They have a great kids menu too! My son usually orders 3 of them and it still is a deal.

Really confused about the hype for this place. Ordered the two dinners with soup, appetizer, entrée, and dessert for $ 40 and it was good, but not incredible and I wouldn’t say any better than your favorite(and cheaper) Chinese buffet. The water didn’t taste very fresh, but the Long Island Ice tea was tasty.

I used to like P.F. Chang’s…but maybe that was before my palate developed and/or Nashville was bombarded with such other amazing restaurants. Whatever the case, when I stopped in for a family lunch on Sunday I was so underwhelmed. We started with the lettuce wraps, one chicken, one veggie. An appetizer I remember liking in the past. This time around, it was more water chestnuts than chicken! Do not like. I split the cucumber side dish and chicken paid thai with my mom. The chicken pad thai was not good. No fish sauce, the noodles were all wrong. Then we asked for it very spicy and it wasn’t spicy at all. Complete let down. The cucumbers were in a soy sauce and tasted strangely. Huh? My dad got the Mao Pau(sp?) tofu… the tofu had sauce on it and was fried, but there was hardly any flavor. The broccoli had zero seasoning. It was just steamed and bland. I really didn’t enjoy anything that I ate here. Plus they no longer mix the three sauces at your table like they once did. The only redeeming part of the meal was our server who was attentive and did a good job with us.

Beef Sichuan was tougher and drier than some beef jerky I’ve had. They no longer start you with sauces at the table, you have to request them. Sauces may or may not arrive while your food is still hot.

Never again! I visited on 4÷6÷15 for dinner. This is a neighborhood restaurant for me and I have been here on many occasions. At this dinner I had water to drink. I ordered a bowl of hot and sour soup so I would have leftovers to take home. The soup was delicious. My entrée was spicy scallops and shrimp. The entrée was a small serving. My rice was brought to the table when the other people at the table were receiving their appetizers. My entrée tasted of nothing but salt. My bill was $ 36. There were 5 in our party. The service was haphazard. Items were served in no sequence whatsoever. And I won’t be back. There are too many Chinese restaurants in Nashville that have better food for a much better price.

Consistently delicious Chinese. I always order the kung pao chicken or shrimp. Always the same. Always tasty and spicy. This location was very big and nice. Our server was crackin a lot of jokes so that was pretty entertaining.

I love everything on PF Chang’s menu. My favorites are the chicken lettuce wraps(of course), Chang’s spicy chicken, hot fish, and lo mein. The service is always decent, and they have a pretty good wine list. I only take away a star because they have wine on tap, but the tap is always mysteriously broken or malfunctioning every time I go to this location. I know wine on tap sounds cheap and gross, but it’s actually really good, and it is a couple dollars less than their average glass of wine. I’m not sure if the tap is genuinely always not working or if the server is just trying to increase their check average. Either way, it’s annoying.

I have been to many P.F. Changs before, and am pretty savvy in picking healthy choices. This is a pit difficult in chain restaurants and especially«Americanized Chinese». We were attending a Vanderbilt basketball game at 5, so I made a reservation for 7:30(a must on a weekend? As the wait for a walk-in was over an hour — and I refuse to wait that long for food). We arrived a few minutes early and were seated within 5 min. We knew ahead of time we wanted the lettuce wraps and were thrilled that they offered a «steamed» version(versus wok fried) of several dishes. We choose the ginger chicken and broccoli and splurged on a vegetarian fried rice. We loved that the ginger chicken came with the sauce on the side, as it was very sweet and we just dribbled it on to get the taste… Chicken and broccoli, was just steamed, no seasoning, so it needed a bit of sauce. We ordered a bottle of 14 Hands Merlot(reasonable at $ 28, but probably $ 11 bottle at any store)”. Overall a nice and convent way to end a fun evening,. Nothing over the top, but better than fast food. We don’t typically go to chain restaurants in Nashville… Just too many other great places to go, but this was close by and we had a gift card!
