The wife and I stopped in here for a quick lunch on a Sunday afternoon and were glad we did. We both got sandwiches — tenderloin for me, BLT for her — and man did they hit the spot. My tenderloin was huge and perfectly done. I also got a side of onion rings and, instead of the handful of rings most places give you, they piled them high on the plate. Service was pretty laid back as we were one of only maybe three tables, but they kept up on drinks and we didn’t have any issues. And, while it certainly wasn’t the fanciest of places, the inside is nice and fits in with Nashville well. We really enjoyed our lunches and wouldn’t hesitate to stop in here again for a quick bite.

Visiting Nashville for the first time. I ordered the Bloody Mary which was«ok» but not good enough to order another. The Cobb salad was good but the chicken was so dry I was choking on it. My husband ordered the ham and cheese. He is not a picky eater and didn’t even eat ½. Service was good and I liked the atmosphere.

We were a group of 7 ready for lunch, and were told that it was going to be a 15 min wait. Almost an hour later, I went up to the hostess to ask what was going on. She was extremely rude, and got an attitude and told us «it was October, and she couldn’t make people leave» I thought that was very unnecessary and horrible customer service. When we were finally seated by the manager, the waiter was very nice, and the food was just ok. Cold fries, dry tenderloin. The bar staff and the people in the bar were nice though. Unfortunately we will not be back.

The bar is very nice here. It is a pleasant mix of locals and tourists. Anything you order will be a huge serving! The wait staff is very friendly and you can almost always find a seat. Try the house sangria with any of the dinner specials.

Sorry to say average at best. Service was nothing to brag about but at least the gal was friendly. We tried the duck wings and the flavor was good but they were pretty dry. Loaded fries were nothing special, although it was a lot of food.

Outstanding. Roast beef sandwich was excellent. Roast beef, ham, and turkey club likewise. Portions were more than enough. Our server, Julia was attentive and prompt.

Good food, good service and good drinks but super disappointed there wasn’t a changing station in the women’s bathroom. Family friendly place but was difficult with a toddler changing a diaper! :-(

Had a Thursday lunch. My wife had the special Chicken salad which was OK and quite large. I had the cheese and roast beef sandwich which the waitress said was being converted to a «Philly Cheese Steak». The meat was dry, almost like jerky, and the baguette was very stale — like three days old. I told the waitress and she said another customer said their sandwich was soggy and so the cook was trying to adjust. It might have been OK as a french dip if they had a beef stock(not canned) to dip the sandwich, but I lived in Philadelphia and even the worst Philly Cheese Steak I ever had was better than this. As for me there must be many better places in Nashville.

Enjoyed a nice quiet lunch on a Thursday afternoon. Our group ordered fried chicken tender salad, Stromboli sandwich & ham, turkey & bacon club sandwich with French fries. The portions were generous size. The club sandwich had very generous amounts of meat and my husband and I split sandwich and still had some left. The OOTO fries sauce is made with mayo, ketchup and mustard… it’s good but would be better with some seasoning added. Service was great… friendly and very attentive Would go back if on the area

While visiting the town for the first time and looking for a place for lunch, a local recommended Out of the Ordinary. We were pleasantly surprised. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. My husband and daughters only had cheeseburgers on their mind while I decided to try the classic Reuben. My husband raved about the burger insisting that was one of the best he had at a restaurant in a long time. I got my children’s approval because they both gobbled up their burgers! My Reuben was HUGE! I could only eat half. It was warm and flavorful. I will admit that I thought the food a little pricey for what we got. But overall is was a great spot. Check out OOTO when you visit Brown County.

Mediocre food and the worst service ever! It took a long time for us to be served, but we noticed people that were seated before us getting served about 15 minutes after us.

This place must have been named ironically. The service was good, the live music okay, but the food was just plain ordinary.

Stopped in on a weekend getaway. I love the cabin like interior. My order was the Portobello Burger and it was full of house made basil pesto, roasted red bell peppers, fresh wilted spinach, and mozzarella cheese. Everything was seasoned well and the«burger» was a success. The staff was very friendly and professional. The beer selection was adequate and featured Indiana beers from Fountain Square Brewing Co. and Upland. I had the Soul Ride IPA from Fountain Square and it gets a 4 out of 5 on my tastiness scale. All around a great lunch experience. May try to get back for dinner on this short weekend trip.

Stay away! One of the worst services I’ve ever had. Waited about 45 minutes to be seated, service was forever slow, food was just ok. We ordered 4 sandwichs, 3 of them cam out and mine didn’t waitress said see would go get it and bring it right out. After waiting another 10 minutes, I stopped what looked like the manager or the person in charge. Has went to check on it and returned a few minutes later with nothing but excuses! He said they had just had a rush on sandwiches! The place wasn’t busy in terms of restaurants! I ordered a BLT! So $ 60 dollars later for 4 pissy sandwiches… bad service… long wait… and one poor excuse! Stay away, it appears that the staff has never been in a restaurant before, someone just decided they wanted to buy a restaurant! This place ruined our day out! The pictures of the wonderful food that some people posted… I’m pretty sure they’re not real pictures. I wish there was a zero star rating!

My family visits Nashville every year and decided to have dinner at Out of the Ordinary. Their name is definitely fitting. It was probably the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Our first negative part of the evening began when people were seated ahead of us, although our names were ahead of them. I’m fairly certain they forgot about us and just kept calling people on their waiting list. When we finally got seated, it took another twenty minutes for our waitress to order our drinks and appetizers. I ordered soup and my husband ordered salad. We never received either. We also never received my silverware or my daughter’s glass of water. Our waitress took our order after about another fifteen minutes. We waited, and waited, and waited. Finally, our food showed up after about 45 minutes. My meal took another five minutes. We would have left, but we had our children with us and decided to stick it out. The waitress later told me that the cooks forgot to cook my Filet Mignon and had to quickly prepare it. I could tell. It was the worst Filet Mignon I’ve ever had. I ordered it medium rare and it was medium to well done in places. The edges were black and crispy in some spots. I’m pretty sure Filet Mignon isn’t supposed to be chewy either. I didn’t say anything until after we received the bill because I know what some people do when customers complain. We asked to speak with the manager and explained what had occurred. His only response was«You didn’t receive your soup or salad?» We said no and then he just walked away. No apologies, no response. When it came time to pay our bill, I told the waitress about my disappointment. She apologized and said they were short staffed. She didn’t charge us for the soup, salad, or my meal. We ended up spending about two hours in the restaurant only to receive extremely poor service and food that wasn’t very good. That will definitely be our last trip to this restaurant. I’d rather stick with the ordinary.

If you are a salad person you will NOT get what you pay for. I was very disappointed with a small, side-salad size for $ 12!

Service was excellent and the food was great. Loved the big flippin fish and the pulled Pork sandwich.
