$ 30 for a gel polish change is CRAZY!!! It didn’t even cost that much in San Diego! … And there’s nothing special about this place!

I went to Lien Nail instead of my regular place out of necessity as my usual place is now closed on Sunday. Actually after two different tries, this is the only nail place I could find open on Sunday. I thought it was going well until the end. The place had a rush of people all of a sudden and my tech left to go start on someone else. I was told another tech would do my color because they were faster. Well that should have been my cue to say no. The person that came to do my color was faster alright, so fast the color job was terrible! Splotchy, thin and left color all on the skin around my nails. But before he started my color, I had to have him clean up the job my original tech messed up. My cuticles were terrible and my nails were not cut back short enough at all. Plus they were all crooked and jagged! I could not wait to get out of there. I had to go home and fix the hack job that was done. Note to self — never wait until the last minute again. I will probably have to go to my regular place of Snappy Nails just to get this fixed.

This place is your average run of the mill nail place. They are A-​OK because they have the spa chairs, people who speak relatively ok english and they have OPI, china glaze as well as a pretty good variety of gel nail polish.
I didn’t really see the sanitized separate containers, but they did have different boxes for everything and the place looks pretty clean and new. As far as the actual services go, my pedi was nicely done, but in the humidity, the polish takes FOREVER to dry and my pinky toe i smeared a little bit even after sitting under the fan for more than 15 minutes. Next time, I will probably let them dry a lot longer if in this area.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Not only did they do a horrific job but come 8 they kick u out, I didn’t even sit under the dry for 3mins and she asked me to leave. If you value your money, time, and nails do NOT bother with this place. All I wanted was the acrylic off and a simple mani and pedi. I STILL HAVE ACRYLIC ON MY NAILS. So what they did to fix it was slab on an extra coat of nail polish.

Worst gel manicure I’ve ever received. 7 out of 10 nails chipped within 8 days. #9 on the ninth day. Avoid.

i happened to stop in for a mani-​pedi for the first time today. i will NEVER go back. i asked if they had shellac for my mani, turns out they assumed i didn’t want the mani i specifically what i asked for — because there’s a difference in price… the lady in charge was super busy! there’s no individual attention. she was slapping polish on then would pop over to another station to file or add polish to them. i felt like they were running nail mill…
the price and service are totally out of wack. i was there 2 hours for a mani-​pedi and i could have done better at home…
