Greenhills across from McDonald’s. Wonderful smells and good looking offerings. Sadly only had the wine with the ladies. Trying to get in some girl time before the month became crazy. Had a plan to eat there and enjoy a glass of wine. Time and kids stopped that, but was a lovely place to put one toe in before we go for a full blown lunch and dessert. I did ask a neighboring table and they were all engaged in a bourbon caramel shake and Chocolate Decadence cookie skillet and finally the Nutella Goozy Cake. The loved the shake and the cake with the highest marks. We will def be back for next Girls time out meeting. Parking is shared in a small parking lot.

Cute, cozy bistro in a convenient location. Apparently it’s quite the place for first dates by the number of awkward pairs that seemed to be seated around us. Of course, taking a girl to a place with two different molten chocolate cakes has good taste(unabashed pun). The service was good and the melted Parm was delicious! The telaggio cheese was a perfect compliment to the prosciutto. I got a side of fruit was a $ 2 up charge. I’m a sucker for a crème brûlée and I definitely recommend theirs if you like yours to be more of a crème than a custard. Parking is free and convenient which is quickly becoming a novelty in Nashville.

The More Cheese, Please sandwich was perfectly delicious with juicy crunchy Bacon and cheesy Mac n Cheese. Also really loved the Jack and Honey Cone Sundae. Excellent tasting Gelato as well. A cozy and friendly dining experience that will satisfy both your salty and sweet cravings.

Word of Advice: Don’t go here at 8:30 on the Friday night before Valentine’s Day weekend. This place was hoppin! I am 100% all about dessert and pass this place quite frequently on the way home from work as I dodge the literal hell that is Green Hills between the hours of 12pm &5pm. I’ve been curious about it for a while! My husband and I met another couple here last Friday. This place is smaller than I thought it’d be and it was PACKED. We stood around for a good while until a four-top cleared but we were all in good company so the wait wasn’t an issue for us. While we were waiting, I noticed that there was a pretty good selection of alcohol at the bar plus a special on hot toddys on this particular night. I wasn’t sure if it’d be a full bar or just wine/beer, good to see options! Despite how insanely busy they were, our server was extremely kind and attentive. I ordered the Chocolate Goozy Cake and holy moly was it good. My husband had the Nutella Goozy Cake and the other couple went with skillet cookies. My mouth is watering as I type this. It was basically a molten lava cake with rye whiskey chocolate in the middle plus a scoop of ice cream on the side that had bits of salted caramel brittle on top. YUM. It paired wonderfully with a glass of their house malbec and was the perfect thing to end a chilly night(aka run home and throw on a pair of sweatpants). I wasn’t sure what to expect with this place but we were all pleasantly surprised! We certainly want to come back here when it isn’t quite so crowded. Looking forward to our next sugar high/chocolate induced coma. ;)

Having esten here about 4 times, I think staff could be friendlier. Food is pretty good. Seats are not comfy, a few pillows would go a long way. Great quiche but only on Sunday.

I love love love dessert places. I went here because of the great reviews on Unilocal and they surely did not disappoint. I got the s’more and it was huge and filling! My friends ordered the cookie skillet and the butter brownie(I believe that’s what it’s called?). I also ordered a chai latte and it was super delicious. If you’re just stopping in here for dessert and drinks, I would definitely recommend it. It’s affordable and filling and such a cute restaurant! The waiters were friendly and accommodating and I will certainly recommend this spot to everyone looking for a good dessert spot in Nashville.

Absolutely delicious desserts! The perfect place for after dinner late night chats, and probably the best desert selection in town.

Very small area to dine in. Not a lot of space to maneuver and feel comfortable. The food was very good. Wish they served a soup and half sandwich but, overall very good lunch spot.

Great spot! I love the sandwiches, even if I’m just using them as an excuse to eat dessert for lunch. Everything is quite decadent, and you’ll want it all– do don’t be surprised when your bill is $ 25 just for lunch! The nutella goozy cake tasted more like black cherry to me, but you don’t hear me complaining. Still haven’t decided on my fav grilled cheese yet.

«Goozy» completely describes this warm and friendly café. I decided to drop by and try out the place the other night. The food was absolutely tasty! I always order the opposite of my significant other to ensure I am able to taste as much on the menu in one setting(lol). Not a bite out of each dish was dissatisfying. I Would definitely recommend this place and would hope that the beautiful server Andra, worked each time I went. Andra was fantastic in describing and pairing each one of our meals together from the Goozy Mule to the last Nutella nibble off my boyfriends desert dish! This Goozy joint exceeded my expectations!

You had me at ‘dessert.’ As soon as I heard about a new dessert bar in town, I made a note that I would have to spend a morning/afternoon/night/all of the above there soon. So, on one particularly stressful Tuesday afternoon, I decided that I needed a bunch of emotional eating — stat! I circled around looking for the building(strip mall more off Hillsboro than on), shook my fist at some lollygaggers until they moved and I could parked and walked in. First impression: this place is small. Don’t come here with a large group or, even, during peak hours. I could imagine that it’s quite the zoo at those times. My next impression: awesome music. During my time at Goozy, I listened to the Beatles, Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, and many others. It was like my own personal playlist — done on vinyl. There’s not much better than listening to good music when you’re in a funk. Wait. I lie. There is something better: comfort food, chocolate and booze. Luckily, Goozy has all three in spades. I may have come in for dessert, but I started with the savories. Goozy has quite an impressive menu of cheesy delights and before tearing in to the sweet stuff, start savory. Knowing that I would end the meal with a drink and I needed to drive east after being in Green Hills, I started my meal with a water(serious sad trombone). Needing to get past the buzzkill of not sipping on suds,(and, remember, I was here to emotionally eat) I ordered the soup of the day and a sandwich. The soup was a curry lentil concoction that boosted my endorphins and high-fived my tastebuds. Leaning to the thick side(my preference), this boldly spicy stew had just enough heat to wake me up but not so much as to make the eating experience painful. I loved every bite. Usually, I like to eat my sandwich with my soup. I finished the whole bowl before touching my sandwich. Since it was a piping hot grilled cheese, that may have been a mistake… had I not wolfed down the soup. For my cheese sandwich, I settled on the Parma: mortadella & taleggio melted with prosciutto, tomato, balsamic-soaked onions, and arugula on crunchy hot Tuscan bread. Damn. All I could do was shake my head as I inhaled the sandwich. It was filling, quite delicious and just what I needed. But, I was here for dessert. The dessert menu is extensive. Take your time to make the right decision. Satisfied from my savory delights, my need to emotionally eat was sated but my inner fatty was just getting started. To begin with, I ordered a bourbon caramel shake. It’s just what it sounds like but larger than you’re expecting. You WILL drink that milkshake. You will drink it up! I could have been satisfied with just that… but who are we kidding? The Chocolate Decadence cookie skillet called to me. How could it not what with the giant skillet filled with hot chocolate chip cookieS, chocolate gelato, nutella, and chocolate bark. Out.of.body.experience. I needed a nap and a cigarette. Granted, eating like this on a regular basis is a sure-fire recipe for death but when you’re having one of those days, daddy needs what daddy will need. Daddy like.(Fat) Daddy like a lot.

The food at Goozy is great. They were even able to accommodate my request to add a fried egg to the Nashville when I was in for Sunday brunch. I highly recommend adding an egg by the way, the flavors were fantastic! The down side of my brunch was that we were the only table without small children. We were drinking mimosas and stuffing our faces while everyone else had small children that were running around. It would have been different if kids were in their seats and eating with their families but they were a little out of control from a few tables. A few times tiny humans were diving under our table and throwing toys around. This might be the Sunday morning crowd, I am not sure. All in all it was not for me.

Can we say Goozy is Yummy! My nieces and I stopped by here after having dinner for a quick dessert. I ordered the chocolate chip skillet cookie, my niece ordered the smore, and my oldest niece ordered the chocolate sundae. Each one of these were exactly what we expected from a good late night dessert. The Gelato is a must have when you go as well. They also have entrees on their menu and the next time we come here we will try a few to see if they are as good as their desserts. The staff were excellent from the moment we walked in they made us feel welcomed. The server we had answered any question we had with a through response. The atmosphere was a laid back chill kind of place. A cute place to hang with friends or a date. If you are around Hillsboro Pike and have a sweet tooth drop by and check Goozy out.

A small but cute place to stop by and grab a sweet dessert. Goozy offers several dessert options, including a gelato selection. I tried the dark chocolate gelato and it was pretty good. They also offer a selection of dessert wines to accompany your sweet treat. I thought it was particularly cool that they had a vinyl record section(albeit small) and customers are allowed to select whatever record they wanted Goozy to play. Unfortunately when I visited, the record player was out of order. Bummer. Cool concept though. For those with a sweet tooth, Goozy may be worth a visit. I’d prefer to stick to the savory though.

I had a great quick lunch today at Goozy. The set up was a little confusing for a first time– I wasn’t sure if it was counter service or full service. The man behind the counter was very helpful and guided me quickly to a table. I was the only customer in there at 11:30 so the service was very quick and attentive, which is always appreciated when dining solo. I had their lunch special of the day, which was a half of a Classic or Nashville melt and a cup of soup. I opted for the Nashville melt, which had pimiento cheese, Benton’s bacon, and jalapenos. It was a tasty combo, but the bacon could have been crunchier to make it easier to bite into and there could have been a touch more cheese. It just wasn’t quite spread to the edges. The tomato basil soup was very good. The special was only $ 6.00, which is maybe the best deal in town. I look forward to returning when in the area and trying some dessert!

The delicious and spicy turkey tortilla soup was a big hit! It came with jalapeños and arugala floating on top. YUM! This little place has lots of seating in and out with fairly fast service. Soups, salads, sandwiches and their homemade gelato and ice cream plus coffee drinks. Add the liqueur of your choice. Oh yes, my friends… lots of liqueur options! Salted Caramel Gelato was yummy.

Holy cow. I came here before work and his food is so freaking good. It didn’t take long for hem to make my food, but I definitely expected them to just whip out some pre made sand which. BUTNO! The guy made it fresh! Right there before my very eyes. It’s a really cute joint with a a super laid back vibe. The sandwich was so good and the cheese had so much flavor!!! I was hesitant about the jalapeños but MAN! They really added the perfect kick to the sand which. It was on sourdough bread and grilled which gave it a nice crunch! And plus the sand which had bacon… everything is better with bacon.

Apparently if you order special drinks or any meals off the menu, you are taking a gamble on service and quality. However, we came here just for dessert following another wonderful night at TPAC. We strictly had water to drink and we tried a chocolate pan cookie with gelato and a type of butter cake. Both were exceptionally delicious. The service was also top notch. Our sever came to our table and went over the menu with us and asked if we had any questions. We had a nice conversation about their various treats and the server’s input helped us decide what to order. I’m really surprised at some of the negative reviews but again, we did not order any kind of food or special drinks. The only negative thing I can think of is that the place is a little small, but otherwise it was a great experience. It is also a little on the pricey side but the quality made it worth the money in my opinion. I’m sure we’ll be going back soon for some more yummy treats!

Fun restaurant concept but the food was pretty average. I love wine cheese and desserts so this place sounded perfect. I ordered the grilled cheese with the Mac and cheese in it, it was good but pretty overcooked – parts of the bread were blackened. We did get the gooey butter cake which was yummy, though weirdly cold on the outer edges and delicious and warm in the middle. Still, a good restaurant I will likely try again!

Noticed that the former Christie Cookie company location is now Goozy. My husband and I were curious so we checked it out. Little did we know how unique and tasty this place had become! They sell desserts and craft beer and liquor galore! And they have creative concoctions blending the different flavors and delights! They also sell sandwiches too. I wanted to try everything but had eaten dinner prior. We had the chocolate chip cookie in a skillet, and it came with vanilla gelato. It was nice and gooey by the time it came out — so good! The place also has an obscure collection of rock albums too so you almost feel like you’re in a Hard Rock Café but much more quaint and smaller and secluded… We definitely give this place a thumbs up on creativity and for satisfying our taste buds!

The primary reason I’m giving it a 4 and not a 5 is because it is tiny and probably hard to find seating for lunch. However, it was not a problem at dinner. I wanted to try Goozy after hearing good things about it and I’m glad I did. My grilled cheese(with mac and cheese and bacon) was excellent and went perfectly with my tomato soup(my wife did not like her sandwich as much, which had ham and onions on it; she said she should have got what I ordered). We both loved our desserts: I ordered the maple bacon sundae, which she ordered the chocolate raspberry cake with coconut gelato(I think hers was a bit better this time). In all, it was a fun change of pace and we’ll be back.

I seriously debated for quite some time whether to give 4 or 3 stars, but for my first experience here, I do have to say it was just«A-OK.» I love the entire concept of a late night dessert café which I’ve longed for many times in Nashville. Goozy gets it right with solely focusing on sweets for that late night crave. I love that they also have a small food menu if you’re more than just dessert-hungry. Also, I thought they wouldn’t have any cocktails since they opened up only a few weeks ago, but I was proven wrong. Their sippable menu actually looks solid. I know that Goozy still has some kinks to work out. I definitely want to come back and try their other desserts and hopefully when I do, things will be smoother and I will post an updated review at that time. So for my experience here… I drove in to the parking lot and saw the huge billboard sign that was lit up with«Goozy.» Super cool. BUT. Under its name, it said«coming soon» so that sort of confused me since I knew it had already opened for at least a few weeks. I loved the interior, atmosphere, and the menu design. However, one thing I noticed about the menu was that there was a heck lot of chocolate treats. I’m more of a berry/fruit/vanilla kind of gal and the night I went I wasn’t quite feeling chocolate so my choices were left to four options under the specialty desserts. All the Goozy cakes were chocolate cakes, so I felt a bit left out in that area. I’m not quite sure if Goozy cakes are supposed to all be dark chocolate molten cakes(?). I ended up ordering the Pot de Crème with a side of Cinnamon gelato. This is when I started feeling a bit uneasy about things here. I ordered this mainly because the menu said it comes with«fresh berry compote.» I wanted this for the berries(!!!). I finally got my order and … no berries :(. I thought it might have been tucked inside the custard, but no. All I got was chocolate custard and the cream on top in a small cup and my gelato. 1. the gelato was fantastic, 2. the custard itself was not too sweet(just how I like it), but a bit thicker than I expected, and 3. no berries :(((((((. I politely asked the server whether I was supposed to receive berries with my order and she went back and checked for me. She ended up bringing me a small side of the berry compote(I really liked it!!! Could only taste sugar from the fruit, so nicely done) and saying that the menu was printed wrong and the fresh berry compote was supposed to be for the item above. I looked back on the menu and the item above Pot de Crème is the Crostata. I’m pretty sure the Crostata isn’t supposed to be eaten with fresh berry compote… So not really sure what happened here. Something else I’m confused about — I read an earlier review here in which a scoop of gelato was added to the S’mores order for only $ 1. When I ordered my gelato along with my specialty dessert, I paid $ 3 for that addition. What is correct since I didn’t see anything written out on the menu about adding gelato for just $ 1? :((((( My partner ordered the Raspberry goozy cake which we both liked. Also ordered amaretto gelato which was SOYUMMY. Overall, good service, ambiance, and gelato flavors. For a dessert café, though, I did expect a lot more out of my specialty dessert since I felt like I paid $ 6 for a small custard cup of plain chocolate cream. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing or the most boring dessert item. Anyhow, I want to come back, try the skillet cookie and eat more gelato. I’m hoping they’ll have these little issues I pointed out solved by then.
