Worst Burger King Ever!!! The employees are too slow and lack costumer service skills.

Everytime I come here I have to pull around the window and wait an average 18 minutes for my «fast» food. Food is usually decent but the wait to quality ratio is just not worth it. Do not order chicken by any means.

I’m not one to review fast food places, but everyone needs to know not to go to this Burger King if you want your order correct and/or want to get out in a timely manor. Unfortunately, this BK is the closest fast food to my house. So if it is midnight, i’m trying to get some greasy food after a long night of drinking… this would be the one on the way home. Sadly I have gone here more times then I ever want to… and even keep going back. But… heres some things I have noticed every time I go. 1. Service is awful, the employees working there don’t even pretend to be in a good mood. The last two times, the lady didnt even say hi, or have a good day… she just looked at me, took my money, gave me my food and walked away. 2. Usually at least 2 employees are arguing about something. 3. It takes about 5 – 10 minutes to get a sandwich made, when I am the only one in the restaurant… 4.Half the time they close early, but leave the lights on and the drive through open, so you just sit there and wait… then finally drive off. One time I saw another lady get out of her car and start banging on the window and the employee inside just ignored her. Don’t go here if you are hungry or if its late. Unless you want to risk the fact you might get terrible service, or none at all. I really hope BK can re-staff and re-train this location.

Maybe a bad day or bad management but something was off at this location on Sunday. 1. Cashier arguing with food preparer about why he was not helping her pack bags while she was running outside trying to find the car that was waiting for their drive-thru order. 2. Drive-thru cashier started working the register: «If you are ordering a sandwich/croissant, the current wait is about 20 – 25 min» 3. They ran out of cinnamon rolls or whatever it is called. It was only 9:45am. I’ve never taken more than 5 – 10 minutes for a to-go order at Burger King until now. The kitchen kept making sandwiches and loading them without any customer facing employees packing them. They had no idea what order the food was in and guessing at the correct orders going into the correct bags. My family and I took our order of 3 #1 breakfast combos. The hash browns were stone cold that I only ate half before throwing them out. Each of ours was customized — 1 had bacon, 1 no cheese, 1 sausage. The bacon one was correct. The other 2 were standards(w/cheese).

As far as Burger King experiences go, this one was pretty good. The staff is very friendly and even offered a kids toy to one of the kids with us that didn’t order a kids meal. It’s this kind of service that makes you want to come back to a Burger King!

Is it lame to review a Burger King? It must not be because I keep going back. They have this very basic burger called a «stacker» that I just can’t get enough of. You can get the Stacker as a single, double, or triple. I think they are running a special now for $ 1, $ 2, and $ 3 respectively. These burgers aren’t huge. I like the double and my husband prefers the triple. Here’s the idea: bun, meat, cheese, bacon, and special sauce(aka tangy thousand island-y sauce). There may be some ketchup on there too. That’s it. Well, plus that canned charbroil taste they spray on there. At any rate, it’s terrible for you, addicting, and amazing. Sometimes in the summer I sneak an ICEE in there too. Shhh.

Famous Burger King Betty is a 60something greyhaired senior now and less feisty. But before her grey when I was visiting from Jacksonville I ran into her almost literally which is how we met. Nice but firm BK Betty stepped in front of my Chevy and said don’t dare park in her lot unless I plan to be a Burger King customer. So I bought my first BK burger and was sold on their greasy delicious burgers. That lot was the old Burger King on 21st across from Vanderbilt, which was my real destination. Panera replaced BK so now my friend Betty is at this here BK at 8th& Wedgewood. Often when I go to Melrose from the east I see Burger King Betty at lunchtime. BK Betty and the greasy delicious burgers are why like the Wedgewood BK best.
