This is the second time I’ve eaten here and it’s just so good! The service is great, they don’t hover over you. I could eat here everyday if I was rich. I ordered the vegetable scramble and it comes with pancakes. Even my picky 1 and ½ year old grandson ate it. That for me is a plus. My other kids ate til they dropped. Thank you for keeping this place alive!

My hubby and I went there for my birthday brunch. I got the French Toast and it tasted as if it had curry in it. I think the grill wasn’t clean. Nonetheless, I couldn’t eat it. My hubby got the breakfast burrito with gravy over the top. I decided to try his to see if it was any better… Grossss… I wanted to throw up the minute it hit mouth. The gravy tasted almost like it was a can of cream of mushroom soup. Even the sausage patty tasted funny. We will never go back. If you’re looking for a traditional brunch joint, do not go here.

*The oldest review in my drafts I’ve been meaning to post — Backdated to November ’15! It’s a lengthy one but worth the read if you’re contemplating checking this place out. Excuse the delay.!! — — — — – Being completely honest, for the first time, I find myself disagreeing with fellow Unilocalee’s on the rating for Bistro Fusion, which in my humble opinion, deserves a 2.5, at best. AMBIANCE:(1⁄5) Yes, the parking lot is always that empty. I live 15 minutes South but commonly commute this area daily and despite the almost 5 stars it has on Unilocal, this place is NEVER busy. It’s maintained clean on the inside; however, there’s a particularly pungent aroma you’ll pick up on when walking in. That doesn’t go away throughout your dinning experience. SERVICE:(1⁄5) The owner, is the hostess, the server & the cook.(*READCONBELOW.) FOOD: I don’t know about anyone else, but as a first timer anywhere, I like to know(if it isn’t clear) what«style» of food I’m testing. Here? I never figured it out. The menu is overwhelming and has a distinct odor & stickiness. Yes, you read that correctly. When we first sat down, the owner brought us a sample of what appeared like Lentil soup mixed with pieces of veggies & meat. The color was off putting but the flavors made it edible. We eventually decided to start off with the«Loaded Nachos» as an app. which were pretty good. The chili wasn’t too hearty & had a nice level of heat balanced by a hint of sweetness. The Nachos were piled with all the regular toppings.(See Pics) They we’re a good portion size & well presented — however I’d never sprinkle dry parsley all over a tower of Nachos as garnish. As an entrée, I ordered the«Chicken Platter» which seemed to be the popular dish amongst Unilocalers. It was served with House or Cesar Salad, plus white rice & black beans. The«Platter», was nothing more than ¼ chicken, roasted and smothered with peppers and onions. I wish I could say I went crazy over chicken/rice/and beans, but in order for something so ordinary to have blown my mind — it would’ve had to have been the way Mama made, or better! My hubby ordered a grilled chicken club sandwich which had it’s own sweet/tangy mayo sauce situation in-between the 2 pieces of bread. It actually tasted quite good with all the other basic chicken club sandwich extras. I joked throughout the meal that without Unilocaling, he clearly got the inside scoop of the better meal.(2.75÷5) *CON: Food is finally on the table after 40 mins, I’m starving, my toddler is angry for food in all that chaos, the owner approaches my table & asks if I have social media. –____– Eagerly, my husband replied, «Yeah! She Unilocal!» He immediately asked me to «Check-In on FB, Like & Follow him on every social media account imaginable to share with my friends & asked I give [him] 5 stars with a great review on Unilocal.» He stood there waiting and watching until he realized I wasn’t going to reach for my phone! I’m all for good exposure to attract more business, but my reviews are my honest, un-bias opinion which I arrive to on my own after the experiences I have. I don’t know how many other customers prior to me experienced the same awkwardness and although he’s a nice guy, I refuse to be misleading just giving 5 stars & writing«fluffy» reviews because the owner intimidatingly asked me to. I don’t see myself ever coming back or recommending it. I do wish this place the best of luck and hope it stays open longer than the I-hop that use to be here, lasted.

Great service. Very personable and down to earth. The name has cha ged, but the food is the same which is very good. Haven’t tried lunch but I enjoy their breakfast. Many different options, such as chicken & waffles, fish & grits among all of the regular breakfast dishes. It’s quickly becoming one of my fave spots to visit with friends, the wife or solo.

Outstanding food and customer service. First time coming to Ram’s Diner. I had a side salad with the Delhi Curry Bowl. Salad was fresh and delicious. Curry bowl had plenty of flavor and spice. I will definitely be returning. Next, I want to try their breakfast.

This is now called Ram’s Homestyle Diner. The place was empty at 5:30 on a Saturday evening. Made us a little nervous. Service was very good. I had the New Dehli curry bowl(extra spicy) and a cup of corn chowder. My wife ordered the Mediterranean omelette. The food was beautifully presented and the taste was outstanding! I give it five stars for service, presentation and taste. I don’t understand why this place isn’t crowded.

Exceptional service(Pat the waitress is the BEST) and the owner, Mr. Ram, is courteous and known for approaching customers and asking them how they enjoyed their experience. I’ve never been to a restaurant so laid-back and comfortable, with such DELICIOUS food! If you’re interested in a comfortable atmosphere without being bogged with lots of crowds(particularly on Sunday mornings), then go here. It is well worth your time!!! The shrimp and grits is to die for…

Third time here and I love it. Great service and food 3 times in a row. There is no other breakfast option in the area either that compares to the quality of this place. 1000 times better than the IHOP that used to be here.

Found this place searching for something different in the homestead area. We went for breakfast and loved it. I had the mushroom omelette, also ordered the shrimp and grits and my husband had the burrito. The service was good and the food took a little long but nothing to complain about. I’ll be back to try other items.

My new favorite restaurant! This place is definitely a diamond in the rough. Looks like an old IHOP from outside with big sign that says kids eat free. We expected crappy diner food when we tried it and it turned out to be an amazing assortment of food! They cater to vegetarians and vegans and make amazing meat dishes as well! All of their food tastes fresh and they definitely don’t use anything from a can.

We just finished having dinner at Bistro Fusion. The food was delicious and the server was very personable. We decided to have what we’ve seen other people commented on… Shrimp and Grits and the New Delhi Curry. Both of these dishes were very good and filling. We also had the humus platter, which was very tasty. We definitely will be coming back to try other items on the menu.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. Outside appearance doesn’t say much and inside an old fashioned diner but what you eat is what you come for. Breakfast was real good, good portions and good prices. Sunday morning breakfast with the family turned out very well.

Best eggs benedict i’ve had in a LONG time! I know that it looks like an old iHop… I know that the air conditioner is not working well(tip: sit under one of the ceiling fans:)…I know that you would NEVER know the quality of the food by how the place looks… BUT, and it’s a HUGE but, please get past all of that and eat some really GREAT food and be served by the nicest people you will ever meet! CAN’T wait to try some of their other menu items!

«Don’t judge a book by its cover» Outside the parking lot may seem empty at times, inside is a complete different story. The place is 5 star clean, Kitchen & Dinning areas. The food is amazing, Natural home made delicious. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner is served anytime of the day you pick. The service is wonderful, the best I’ve ever gotten. The prices are great, reliable & fair. The owner Rom introduces himself personally welcoming each costumers at there table, he makes sure all service was meet & if there is anything he can serve the costumers in there needs.

I pass by this place all the time and always wonder if its any good. I always say I have to try that place out. Well today was the day i finally stopped. The food was surprisingly really good. For an appetizer we had the loaded nachos. We had the Churrasco dinner platter with white rice, black beans and plantains and the Dolphin Finger platter. I can say both plates where extremely well done. The food was great and the dolphin was especially good. The staff is so polite it almost scarred me lol. Very little times have i been somewhere where they constantly make sure everything is perfect. We even had the chance to meet the owner that came to the table to thank us for coming out to try it. Its very affordable as well all the food we had plus appetizer and drinks amounted to $ 40! Which is great price for the quality they gave. Overall the best way i can describe this place is as another Unilocaler added it is truly«A diamond in the ruff»

I’ve passed this restaurant for a while, but never went in until reading some great Unilocal reviews and… wow. I thought this place was AWESOME! The only way I can describe it is if a diner and a restaurant had a baby. The building use to be an Ihop so the seating makes it feel much more laid back than the typical bistro setting and I would probably be more inclined to recommend it to families or coworkers for a lunch break. Not so much as a spot for date night(unless you’ve been dating a while)! At first I was nervous when I saw the eclectic menu ranging from breakfast foods to pastas to curry to hamburgers. There is literally something for everyone depending on what you are craving(one of the top reasons I like it, it’ll be a great place for when me and my boyfriend can’t agree on the type of food we want). We started with a hummus appetizer(I loved it), munched on a caesar salad that came with my boyfriend’s entrée(lettuce tasted fresh, not soggy or just a bunch of iceberg chunks like other places), tried some of his curry(awesome), and scarfed down my eggs benedict(5 stars). We didn’t have a complaint about a single thing, which is usually rare when restaurants try to accommodate different types of food(like awesome pasta at an Italian restaurant, but then they drop the ball when they try to make a sandwich). By the end of the meal we didn’t even have room for dessert. To end it, the service was fabulous and our water glasses were always full. I would recommend this spot ten times over(don’t let the sparse parking lot deter you, I think this is a new, lesser known establishment). Give it a try! Since moving to Homestead a year ago this is actually the first restaurant in the area that has earned 5 full stars from me!

I enjoy going to this restaurant and I am planning my future order as I write this review. I had the shrimp and grits and the cream of asparagus soup this time around. Both were delicious !!! My first time I had the oven baked chicken and my second time I had the curry bowl. I enjoyed all of my orders.
