IHOP

Ok so I used to come here a lot and everything was fine until today. I called to order pick up and the waitress did not understand me so I had to call back three times. She charged me extra for things I didn’t want and I ordered a chocolate chocolate chip pancake and she charged me extra for it, which would’ve been okay if she had given me the right pancakes. Also charged me for extra hash browns I did not ask for. She seemed a little slow too, no offense. Only gave it two stars because of my history with ihop.

Service was great. The waitress we had was very nice. The managers are great they come around to see if everything is going ok. The food we ordered was delicious.

When i first moved to homestead in 2010 this place was great came every weekend and the waitress (we always asked for the same one) immediately sat us down and knew our usual drink and food orders from memory, always tipped her above 30% and our food came out perfect and fast like within 15 min of sitting down. This waitress then left about a year or two later and the service went downhill. The last straw was last weekend a male waiter sat us in the back (mind you there were like 5 tables occupied total) and he completely forgot about us. we have been regulars for over 4 years. we watched him as he sat down another table and got them drinks. he didn’t ever come back to us after sitting us down. my husband and i were extremely upset so we just walked out and the manager who knew we were regulars couldn’t believe what the waiter did. She is very nice but lately the waiters they have been getting are awful only 1 or 2 good ones, and the good ones all eventually leave for better paying jobs.
Instead we went to a super packed cracker barrel at the end of us1 sat down within 10min and had food another 10 later. Its a shame this ihop has gone so down hill, i dont see this branch making it much longer the way things are going.

I felt really sad to know they have no biscuit and gravy… How un IHOP and American is that? Please! Bring it back… Nice and fast service… Oh and no, no, wifi? Really? No wifi… Enough said…

Nasty, nasty. I got sick at the restaurant after a few bites. Just disgusting and unethical that they put rotten ingredients in the food. Now I see why the parking lot usually have less than five cars at any given time. This place should be condemned. Do not eat here.

If there was a NO star on this i would clip on it! I’m so mad!!!
The waitress was friendly but the place needs some love, my daughers and I were asked to seat ourselves which we did. When we got to the booth we looked over to the window and there was a layer of died ants on the ledge. (that was the first thing)
Then my daughter grabed the blueberry syrup and the top had dust on it. (that was the second sign that i just should have left)
Fine i stayed MISTAKE!!!
I ordered the chicken fajita Omelet but to be made with eggbeaters & sour cream and salsa on the side. I always order the samething I’ve been eatting this for years so I know exactly how eggbeaters look like.
My eldest had order the smart fit banana pancakes with the eggbeater and turkey bacon.
So when my order came and saw that it was not made the way i asked i had the waitress to please send it back with a smile. The waitress came right back and said the cook said it was made with the eggbeaters. OMG!!! i couldn’t believe that they had just lied!!! OMG! i wanted to stand up and just leave the place but i couldn’t because my daughters had already started eating their food.
I had my eldest to leave a little of her eggbeaters sO i could prove my point with the manager. I didn’t want a refund i just wanted my food to be made correctly. Remeber how i had asked for the sourcream on the side and salsa, well LOL when they brought my food they had put the amount of a teaspoon of sourcreamin a little plastic dish and no salsa!
I paid for the food but I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!
And the only reason why paid for the food was because i didn’t want the waitress to pay for the Manager’s lies since he happend to also be doing the cooking!

It’s not easy to write a review for a chain restaurant. The food is pretty much the same almost everywhere — or at least it should be.
However, what you can review is how well the kitchen executes the corporate menu, how friendly the staff is, and how the physical space is maintained. I am not from this neck of the woods but we went to visit my parent for a weekend and ended up eating breakfast at this IHOP which was surprising given my mom only eats Cuban food. LOL!
The food was adequately prepared and served hot. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. I did however had to request napkins twice and the water too. I returned my silverware since it was dirty and also my dad ordered a cup of milk and the small glass of milk had lipstick stains all over. We returned it and the lady brought back the milk inside a Styrofoam cup. She probably just transferred it. Who knows?
The restaurant does seem clean and seems well take care of. I will be back here if my parents want to come back. It is just your average IHOP that is all!

NEVER go to this Ihop. The service was terrible, the toilet was literally overflowing waste onto the floor, a fact we learned after we ate, and our entire group was slightly ill after eating here and we all had diffrent meals.
If there was a negative star option, I would hand it out for this place.

This place is always packed. I have had great & also just OK service. Kids eat free everyday between 4−10pm
LOve the food, especially the variety of pancakes!
