Naples at its absolute finest. Perfect food, even better surroundings and service that treats you like family. There is no better place to go in Naples, and possibly anywhere.

Upon arriving an hour ahead of our 8:15 reservation, we were told that we could get a drink at the bar and sit outside while we were waiting for our table. That was all fine and good until we already placed our drink orders,(which were all different types of martini’s in glass) and then told once we were served that we would not be able to bring them to sit outside by the Gulf View, but to sit in the courtyard which was more of a waiter station. We were not happy that they(A)-didn’t have table bar service for those who were waiting for dining reservations and(B) didn’t seem to even care! For an establishment of this caliber I would expect all of the waitstaff to be more accommodating to the wants and needs of the patrons. We were told when making this reservation that we would have a table on the beach. We were seated outside, but not on the beach. Our table was next to the building, next to the service entrance/exit. There were floor fans heavily blowing on us and they were extremely loud that we couldn’t even hear one another. Our server was mediocre/did what he had to-nothing exceptional in his service. The food was above average, the Turtlefeller was superb. Doubt that we will return to The Turtle Club as Naples has many restaurants that exceed in all areas.

Overall, I liked this place but didn’t love it. The view was obviously gorgeous as it was right on the beach, but the food was subpar. I got the turkey and applewood bacon press. To be honest I could have made myself a much better sandwich, it wasn’t anything special. I also got a piña colada and I’ve had better. The food was below average,(at least from what I ordered) but the service and atmosphere was great which is very important to me. Overall okay, wouldn’t make a point of eating here again. It’s convenient if you are spending a day on the beach and want a sit down meal.

If you are looking for good food with a good view, go to BALEEN at La Playa, just down the road, instead. We had dinner at the Turtle Club on a Wednesday, and at BALEEN two night earlier. The views from each were nice, but the food at BALEEN was better. BALEEN also had fire pits, nice wooden chairs, and a nice atmosphere. Turtle Club had us in plastic chairs. The food at Turtle Club was OK, but not great. I had the lobster special($ 38), she had the scallops(+$ 30). The lobster was so salty that I could not taste the meat. The scallops were as sweet as the key lime pie desert. But the food at BALEEN was fantastic. Go there instead.

This place is amazing. I stayed at the Vanderbilt Beach Resort and dined there twice during a week-long stay. Lunch was lovely; definitely sit outside when the weather allows as the views are killer! Dinner though. Dinner blew everyone away! Great flavors, presentation, tender food. Just excellent. We had excellent service at dinner as well. I highly recommend this place!

It’s fun to eat on the beach! The waiter was pleasant, the price wasn’t too, too exorbitant, and the food was satisfactory(nothing great). So it was a pleasant repast.

This was my first time at The Turtle club, and it definitely won’t be my last! We ate outside and it was so worth it. We had 8:00 pm dinner reservations, but arrived just before seven, ordered cocktails and sat on the beach to watch the sun go down. Not only was it a beautiful sunset, but the cocktails are also tasty. This was a great way to start the evening. We started with a dozen raw oysters that were shucked to perfection, and sweet, we also had shrimp cocktail since 2 in our party did not eat oysters(I personally did not try the shrimp cocktail, but was told it was fabulous). For dinner I had lobster that was served on a delicious hash, others had surf and turf(I did not try) and the snapper, which was cooked to perfection. Only down side to the snapper was that whomever topped it with the sauce had a heavy hand, and it was just too much, so order your sauce on the side. I ordered my lobster the the sauce on the side and after seeing that I was happy I did. Our waiter was very attentive and always on point. Side notes: Although this was on the beach, they pound down the sand. So even though I was in heals I was able to walk easily not my heels did not fill with sand. I don’t do fancy drinks, but a lot ion our party do, and they all raved about the drinks. Be aware that if it is windy, you will have hair in your mouth, so bring a hair tie with you if you have long hair. only downside, the bathrooms were a bit messy and could have used some attention. I will return!

The Food was great but be aware that the Grouper on the menu is not Grouper but corvina. We were not told by the server until we asked.

We had an incredible dinner here on a busy Saturday evening. Unfortunately the weather in Naples wasn’t cooperating with the great views of the Gulf that the Turtle Club has to offer, but we were seated at a very nice table indoors upon arrival. Our server was on point all night and we never had to wait for a drink even though the restaurant was filled to capacity our entire meal. The food was extraordinary here. Anytime I see Chilean Sea Bass on the menu I make it a point to order it. I was hoping to sub the sea bass for the Mahi Mahi in the sea harvest meal, but I wasn’t able to do that. So I ordered he Sea Bass and I shared it with someone in our party that ordered the sea harvest. Every single piece of food we had was perfectly prepared. We tried the turtlefeller oysters, lump stone crab, and raw oysters to start the meal. The turtlefeller appetizer was the highlight of that round. The main dishes had scallops, shrimp, black grouper, crab meat, and Chilean sea bass. As I mentioned before I love sea bass and it was perfect, melt in your mouth, and a good portion for the price. Everyone was happy with theirs meals and the vibe in the restaurant was a nice way to spend an evening in Naples. We ended the meal with a few desserts. The key lime pie was light and a great way to end the night especially with the rumchatta coffee. I want to go back tonight!

We have now dined at The Turtle Club about 10 times and I am very comfortable giving it 5 stars because it consistently offers an amazing experience. The food, drinks, service and atmosphere always deliver! My recommendations… 1. Unless you are allergic to the sun, wait for a table outside. It is worth the wait… and there is a great hidden patio where you can sit and enjoy a cocktail while you wait. 2. If you are there on a really busy day… stand at the bar and watch the bartenders work. I’m not talking about flipping bottles and putting on a show… I’m talking about 2 of the most talented and hard working bartenders I’ve ever seen. It was like watching a finely tuned piece of machinery produce dozens upon dozens of drinks without missing a beat. Awesome! 3. Every item that we have ordered(and I think we’ve ordered most on the menu) is delicious. We have never been disappointed! My go-to lunch however, is a blackened fish sandwich and a couple of Mai-tai’s…just perfect. 4. When you finish eating, take a stroll down the beach and enjoy the beauty. It tops your lunch off perfectly. I love everything about this place and can’t wait to go back!

While waiting for a table, I got to see the abominable seating practices during season. A number is assigned to you on arrival. However, if you are 4 men drinking on the beach, or 3 teenage boys who mutually don’t give a shit about protocols, or an obviously old rich guy with a hooch in tow, have any real estate you want. The house encourages this, never once moving the agressors off the sand and to the less desirable tables against the wall.

Positives: Friendly and fairly accommodating staff. Great location on the beach. Casual attire allowed during lunch yet quality atmosphere. Umbrellas. A few good menu items. Negatives: Crowded. Can be hot and humid with little wind(no fans outside). Pricy for food quality. The pace of the servers and kitchen is clearly rushed and does not seem to fit the quality of the location and service. They do not know how to do «blackened» fish. Mine was served with«blackened seasoning on top», but wasn’t actually blackened on a grill. Our server and a second server confirmed and said that’s how they do it. Bizarre. I saw another like it too. Been here 5 times so this isn’t based on one experience. Some menu items are fine. Many are not. Quantity isn’t important to me(they don’t deliver in that aspect either), quality is.

I went to the Turtle Club on Nov 1, 2015 The place is beautiful and the outside dining is stunning. I had the lobster bisque It was creamy and had lobster chunks The Turtle Club fish sandwich was outstanding with crunchy roll I got it fried. I know I know but it was perfect and I was on vacation I had the key lime pie for dessert It was sublime. Highly recommend

We had a great lunch at the Turtle Club, everyone really enjoyed it, Kim said it was the best crab cakes she ever had, the oysters Rockerfeller was amazing! It is located right in the beach in Naples. They have free valet parking, which is great because there was no parking available with everyone coming to the beach for the day. Our last trip here was for sunset, this is one of the few places you can go for dinner and drinks in Naples and watch the sunset, so get there early!

We love this place so much that we came here three times this week. It’s a great place right on the beach. The food was good and the service is great. Love their specialty Martinis and dessert drinks. My favorite is the Almond Joy frozen drink. Always ask for ocean front dining.

On October 30th, we all found ourselves here for a close friend’s wedding. *Sigh* Our waiter«K», a short man with vexed eyes, was clearly irritated and overwhelmed with serving us. Where do I begin? First and foremost, they split our party of 14 up with two servers so there were seven of us at our table. We started the whole affair with mixed drinks and beer which was fine. except after numerous inquiries for refills, we never received them so we were forced to flag down another waitress. It took over 15 minutes for the bride to get a margarita. «K.» was clearly irked when the family walked down to the water to take sunset photos and weren’t ready to order dinners right away. It felt like he was rushing to get things rolling as quickly as possible. Raw oysters were dropped off at the table right in front of the bride with her white wedding dress on. Even I cringed. Food was taken away from the table only half eaten so we had to actually ask for it back. We overheard K. complain to another server he was overwhelmed, and then he disappeared again. When our dinners arrived, they weren’t delivered at the same time as our other table, so others watched us eat while they waited. My seafood plate was on point, yet half of everyone else’s dinners were lukewarm and must have sat around. Just to be clear, we weren’t onerous or rude. We all know what it’s like to be in the service industry and how demanding it is. We just wanted to enjoy a small wedding with friends and family. Does it get worse? Let me get a stiff drink for a second. The most astonishing event of the night was the deal with the wedding cake, which had been dropped off earlier that morning. What wedding cake? Exactly. It was never served. The groom’s family had to ask more than once for someone to bring it out, and then they were forced to bring the wedding cake back to the hotel because it was NEVERSERVEDTOTHEIRGUESTS. Overall it was rather embarrassing and a bit disappointing that day. We all expected a little better from this nice place. For a date or perhaps an intimate dinner for less than 5 this place is fine.

This is a place I’ve been wanting to come for quite some time! We were in Florida for my bachelorette party and I wanted to find a fun restaurant for everyone. I made reservations for our party of 9 about 3 months ahead of time and asked for a table on the beach. The day of our dinner, I realized I had made reservations for 8 people and not 9! I called and they were very accommodating but we did have to sit at 2 separate tables which put some damper on the evening. They were next to each other, but it’s not the same. It was nice to see the complimentary valet when we arrived. We were seated in the 3rd row on the beach. My friend and I shared the pear and Gorgonzola salad to start(she asked for a few changes and our server was very nice about it). It was very tasty! I had the lobster and it was out of this world. So fresh and prepared very well. The 3 other people at my table all ordered filets cooked various ways. When the steaks arrived, none of them were cooked properly. My friends pointed this out and the server promised to fix it. Then the manager came over to apologize and she took them ALL off the bill. I felt like that was going above and beyond! She could have offered a free dessert but to take them all off, I was so impressed. People also got various desserts and everyone seemed to like everything. When you’re coming here, although the food is good, you’re coming for the ambiance and view and it did not disappointing. It was perfect weather and we got to watch the sun go down. We got so many beautiful pictures! Every single person(none of us had been there before) said they loved it and would go back. It was a great first night to kick off the weekend!

Beautiful atmosphere, very nice staff, fresh food… I really enjoyed my time here. It probably helped that is wasn’t in season, so we weren’t packed I’m like sardines. The weather was great and the water was warm. After a few drinks I was ready to walk right into the beautiful Gulf. Food isn’t spectacular, but tasted fresh, arrived quickly and we were both satisfied.
