Good food. Chicken is their specialty, I don’t bother with anything else. Recently, they were running a special on a ¼ chicken with rice and black beans; very tastey and filling. I added an order of fried yucca and enjoyed how toasted and crisp it was. Yhe restaurant is always very clean. The service is fast and the workers are very nice. I make a point of eating dinner here at least once or twice each trip to Naples. The cashier will switch from Spanish to English depending on your need/desire.

Got the chicken quesadilla this time and it was inedible. Going back to the chicken Caesar wrap which was great. Server was rude.

I love pollo tropical. This facility is terrible because it is FREAZING inside. It is consistently kept so cold you just can’t enjoy your meal. So unless you have your skiing jacket with you, go somewhere else!

Food is fabulous and they don’t over feed you. Get the Fried Plantains as a side! You can’t go wrong with any of the sides … My husband had the waffle fries. I’ll be back soon!

Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent staff. I always grade a place by how well they keep the tea fresh and tasty. A+ here.

Instead of regular fast food spend your 5 – 6 $ here. You get a lot of food and it’s not total cap either. Good chicken and sides. The soups are good to. Try it!

My mom loves this place, so you’ll find me here often on the weekends. The tropichop bowls are very reasonably priced. A filling meal for around $ 7. You can pile on all the toppings for no extra charge. I get mine with half salad/half brown rice and grilled chicken. It’s actually decently healthy compared to other fast food options. I love their sauce bar. The curry mustard is delicious! The staff is always friendly and they bring the food out to your table. I would stay away from the chicken wings. They’re really really tiny! My sisters love getting mashed potatoes on everything… It looks disgusting, but I have to admit it is rather tasty. If you need something quick to eat and want to try and be kinda healthy, give Pollo Tropical a try.

In South Florida, this is a common chain. You can compare it to a Boston Market but for Cuban Chicken and sides, yummy. there’s a lot of different options here. I don’t think the options are as unhealthy as other fast food places. There are a lot of healthy options, and the prices are pretty good. I got excited when I saw this place. They have an outside area so you can bring your dog if you would like. We had the trio combo with chicken, mojo pork, and bbq guava ribs with corn soufle yum, and yellow rice. The one thing that stinks is that sweet plaintains are not part of the sides so that was extra. That’s probably one of the most popular yummy items so that is why. They have different sauces and salsas for your choosing if you like.

Yesterday I had Burger King! Yum! And thought I’d eat a little healthier today. This is my first visit to the East trail store. I used to go to the GG city restaurant once in a while since it was close to work. Staff seem fast here. Pretty good meal for lunch. I had pulled pork with beans rice, bread with just a hint of coconut oil taste, and a drink. For around 7 bucks. Service during lunch was pretty fast. I had the fuego sauce, very tame glad they had a little lime otherwise I’d have to say it was very bland compared to home style Cuban meals even the onion was bland dry and stringy, I spit it out into a napkin. Pack a light jacket if you dine inside it may be too cool. I ate outside to get out of the cold. The others had the chicken quesadilla and BBQ ribs tips. No big complaints, just so so. Nothing spectacular to see here… move along.

Teeny, tiny portions of tragically terrible chicken. While the seasoning was good, the chicken had the consistency old sandals. I’ve seen pigeons that are bigger. They say dinner for 3 or 4, but that tiny bird, 5 little pieces of fried plantain and 4 mundane little rolls is just pitiful, and at $ 12, it’s highway robbery. Save yourself, dive by.

Uhhh, I wouldn’t call this a «Mexican Restaurant»… you’d give people the wrong idea. And yes… why aren’t there more Pollo Tropicals??? With the refurnished Pollo Tropicals, you now order at the counter and they serve the food to you… even checking up on you and cleaning up afterwards!(But many small signs say«no tipping allowed»… not bad at all) My chicken tropichop was delicious– the grilled chicken may taste typical, but add the side dishes in… wow! Although there’s a slight greasiness to the chicken, you really feel like you’re eating healthy– whether you actually are is another question. There’s also a nice collection of sauces to throw in; in addition to different salsas there’s also a guava sauce and cilantro ranch(holy crap heaven is here!)

WHYAREN’T THEREMOREPOLLOTROPICALS? Delicious, healthy fast food. The yuca with garlic sauce, the grilled chicken and shrimp, the mango or strawberry blended smoothies… DELICIOUS! It’s the best of all worlds: fast, moderately priced, flavorful, healthy and tasty. Update: Since the remodel portions are HALF the size they used to be and the rice and black beans have no flavor. I ordered a side of chicken wings and they must have been taken from the tiniest pygmy/midget chickens they could find. They were the size of my pinky! On the bright side, they now offer wine and sangria.

It’s not really Mexican food, it’s Latin/Caribbean food. But it is delicious and I wish we had enough folks to support a chain like this in this region. I had the chicken soup and the black beans and white rice. Both were very good(for not being my Grandmother’s cooking). Dining companion had the shredded pork with yellow rice. She thought the pork was greasy. I had a bite that tasted just fine to me. Their claim to fame is supposedly the grilled chicken, but since I feel like I can get that anywhere, I didn’t try it. The other thing I tried were the fried sweet plantains. YUM. Take your run before you come here and you won’t feel guilty about anything you eat.
