Back at Pelican a couple of days ago in evening. AC still horrible. The expansion is great but word is getting around about the AC issues. The AC is out 50% of the time. FIX IT!

Been to this location about 6x this year. Great food and bar sevice inside. Out side bartenders are just plain bad. You can put your empty glass on the edge of the inside of the bar and they will just walk by. More interested in towel snapping the other staff members than taking care of customers.

Had a great time! Bartenders were excellent and let me try my first raw oyster for free. thank god cause turns out i dont like raw oysters. The pelican punch was the bomb and the grouper was super good! Would for sure go there again next time we are in town.

I couldn’t take pictures as my phone is filled with photos from my recent trip. So the food– don’t bother. Flavorless and bland. I had the blackened grouper sandwich and boyfriend had grouper ruben. Not bad but no flavor. Not fishy but not blackened at all. I tried to add hot sauce and salt but didn’t help. The French fries were the best part of the meal and I don’t typically eat fries. The calamari was greasy despite what I read on another review. I was soaking up the Grease with my napkin. Nice friendly put we are eating our ice as we are out of soda. Glad I don’t live here cause I wouldn’t cone back.

Pelican larrys is a semi decent sports bar. Staff is pretty friendly, great game room including a pool table and the claw, ect. But the doors must always be open because i was trying my hardest not to SWALLOW a fly while enjoying my meal. Oysters were fresh tasting, but on the small side. the wings were succulent. Over all it was a pretty good meal

This placed is a small sports bar. Quality bar food, maybe a notch up. Lots of tvs, great staff, properly priced. We go here often and refer others. Great raw bar. Highly recommended.

It has a few different craft beers, which was a good surprise. It’s pretty much sports bar atmosphere. Typical bar food.

Walked in for the 1^st time for lunch to Pelican Larrys .i was given a water and a menu upon request. NO one ever came back —
The bartender waited on another customer at the bar — waited on 4 people at a table behind, me – never came back at all
— I walked out after I waited and waited…

I tried to get a meal and a drink here, and left hungry and thirsty.
To be fair, it was busy and they seemed short-​staffed. There was no host and no indication whether to seat ourselves, so we started looking for a table. A few other groups seemed to be walking around confused about this and scrambling for tables.
Each of the empty tables was covered in filthy dishes. We sat for a while at a dirty table outside. No one approached us and we would have tried to order from the bar, but the music was bad, it was way too loud and it looked like it was going to be a hassle.
We went inside and sat at another dirty table to get away from the music and hopefully find a server. A few waiters walked by without acknowledging us or bussing the table, so we left. I think that it was what they were hoping for, as they weren’t really handling that volume of business.

Pelican Larry’s is doing something right by the sheer volume of people in the restaurant and/​or by watching cars circle their shared parking lot for an open spot.
Wings-​5 Stars
When thinking of wings, Pelican Larry’s should automatically come to mind. The wings are large, moist, fresh and delicious without dark bones usually found in pre frozen wings.
Addison-​5 Stars
Our waiter, Addison, was very pleasant, helpful, fast and overall excellent. Even though the restaurant was packed to the gills at 5:00PM, Addison provided exceptional service, a rarity ‘in season’ in Naples. Pelican Larry’s should consider Addison as a corporate waitstaff trainer.
Beer-​5 Stars
Any restaurant carrying Cigar City Jai Alai on draught should receive 5 stars. Cold, delicious and very reasonable during happy hour. In addition, PL has a few other IPA’s on draught.
Pizza-​3 Stars
When thinking of wings pizza sometimes comes to mind. Unfortunately, pizza in not PL strong suite, so you should seek sustenance elsewhere on their menu.
Pelican Larry’s is the place to go for a good time at reasonable prices, but get their early.

I can only speak for the drinks as I haven’t eaten here but drinks are pretty good. Have a wide selection of liquids. It’s quite large on the inside and split in half so there’s plenty of bar and seating space. Weekends you can find live music on one side and dj on the other so it’s great for all music types out there. Really friendly staff!

Good spot. Blue collar atmosphere. Besides the alcohol on your breath, your clothes will smell like you’ve been at a bar, haha. I keep coming back though. Food takes forever but I’m just here for the beers. About 3 dozen TVs inside. Hockey is always on. Dope wings.
Oh and theres an outdoor bar in addition to the full horseshoe bar inside. Check it out.

First, I want the manager who exchanged emails with me to know I appreciated the interest he showed in my complaint. I didn’t expect compensation but they did send me a $ 25 certificate that I also thought was very nice but unexpected. I went out with a friend last night without plans and we ended up back at the new Pelican Larry’s. Too bad I didn’t have the certificate with me. Unfortunately the fourth visit was another bust. We sat outside at the bar and ordered raw oysters as well as the fried oyster baskets. When we placed the order we said we wanted the raw oysters first and the bar tender replied «of course.» Ten minutes later two servers appear with BOTH the raw oysters as well as the oyster baskets. We declined the raw oysters and just had the oyster basket. Something is wrong with this location. Its been open long enough to be better than this.

What a find! Happy hour goes from 11 – 7 and most drinks (all draft beers, house wine and well liqueur) are 2 for 1. Not to mention there are about 8 appetizers that are half price. We ordered the ceviche, which was very fresh with tons of seafood in it and very little filler. I had the chicken wings (pelican wings) and they were great. Our server was very kind and accommodating as well. I can’t wait to go back, what a deal!

I enjoyed Happy Hour and beer was great. I had the BBQ chicken wings and they were awesome! We sat on the bar and bartenders are very attentive. They would shuck oysters right their at the bar but it’s not the traditional way. They have this metal thing that looks like a big wine opener with a lever. Then the shells are pulled apart n the waiter prepares the oysters with the nice presentation on the tray.
I didn’t order the oysters but they looked fresh and people were ordering them like hot cakes.
They had great music and televisions around the bar is tuned to either sports channels. This is my first time here but I would definitely return. Had a very nice time! :)

The service was terrible. The staff had an attitude. Unreasonably so. Decent dance floor. Don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. Too many other options out there.

If you want poor service and the feeling you are not wanted, this is the place to go. The fact I am 53, not one of the young pretty people crowd, may be why I watched the bartender/​waitress give away free drinks to the pretty girl friends, while my wife was never offered the chance to order a second drink. I definitely felt the «We don’t serve your kind kind — vibe».
If you are from out of town and not a regular I would advise you to find a different spot for oysters.
The service experience was so bad I can not give an accurate grade for the food. It would not be fair!

Went there last nite based on the reviews here and had the gulf oysters, they were not shucked in front of me as everyone stated so a red flag shot up in my mind but I gave them the benefit of doubt and assumed they were shucked in the back as the bar tender told me they are brought in daily. The oysters were absolutely fresh and delicious. A couple of craft beers and live music completed an evening well spent.
The only thing I didn’t like was cigarette smoking is allowed inside and that may prevent me from a return trip.
