Food was horrible and overcooked. Took over an hour to get our food. Half hour less and maybe the food would not have been dried out. In addition to the price of the food for what you get was too high, I would not recommend.

Just got back from our first and last visit to this restaurant. We are locals who live here full-time, and decided to give it a try. Where do I start? Told us we would have to be out in an hour because they had many reservations behind us. Then they put us in the back room and never told the waitress that she had our table. In consideration of their request we placed our order quickly when she finally did arrive, specifically asking for two checks. We ordered an appetizer and each of us an entrée. When the linguine and clams arrived, one was supposed to be gluten-free, and they didn’t know which was which, and had to go back and re-make it. The appetizer was served as an entrée to one of the people in our party, who had ordered a salmon platter. It dawned on us halfway through our meal that her salmon was not coming. I’ll hailed down the waitress who explained she had never put the salmon order in, and it would only be an extra six minutes wait, and supposed to be out in 10 minutes. We ordered extra clams on the linguine, and when they came, all but two were not opened and had to be discarded. We mentioned this to the waitress, who said she would take them off of the bill as well. 15 minutes later the salmon dish arrived and we were told we would not be charged for the salmon dinner. It arrived so late that we had to have it boxed up to take home. The The manager came over and reiterated that the salmon would be taken off the bill. When the waitress delivered the bill, it was one check, not two. And the price of the salmon was not taken off the bill. Instead, one coffee, one tea, and the little necks were deducted for a total of $ 15. The price of the salmon entrée alone was $ 19. At it was as this point that we had just had enough. We payed the bill and left. What restaurant owners don’t understand is that the goodwill of one meal is worth it’s weight in gold. The cost of one entrée would’ve brought us back again and again and again. But you don’t tell someone you’ll take it off the bill, and then not do it. And it’s not smart business to treat any customer that way, but especially a local resident who would frequent your restaurant year round! You blew it. Treat your customers with kindness and consideration and do what you say you will do. There is an incredible number of fine restaurants in Naples, and we will be happy to frequent their establishments instead of yours.

Had dinner here last night. Service was nothing special, but better than some other reviewers have experienced. Food is a bit pricey and only okay. We asked for more rolls and never got any. $ 4 for a pint of Yuengling is crazy, imho. Wouldn’t come back.

Service was horrendous! Waited an hour and a half for our meal after appetizers. Kendra was our waitress and was rarely seen. Order was wrong on some things and the seafood stir fry came in a trough-more like soup– sopping rice under a teriyaki mess with a little seafood. The steamed littlenecks arrived in a soup of oil, garlic, and tomato. Too much! Go there with caution.

We were seated at 7:15 and left at 9:30 — it took us ONE hour to get our entrée — we were ignored by our waiter and when he did stop by he would tell us «your ticket is next up — when we finally got our food it was just fair — would not recommend Bill’s

I really want to like this place, it’s close/convenient and I’ve eaten at the owner’s restaurant and seafood market back in Mass. But after three attempts I’m giving up. Last night I sat at the bar which was about three quarters full and waited and waited only to hear excuses and not at all a friendly attitude from the bartender, I eventually left. Bill, I know you have had some issues this year but your employees need to improve on their customer interaction. I hope works out.

Was sitting at the bar on Sunday evening watched a woman come in sit at the bar by herself, she waited a good 10 minutes before being waited on. She must have said something to the bar tender, after that she was completely ignored by both bar tenders. She drank her beer, about 15 – 20 minutes was never spoken to by these people, she finally got up and left. I have never seen despicable behavior by bar tenders in my life, RUDE! RUDE! RUDE!

We have had many dinners at bill from a family dinner to a night out with friends to our anniversary dinner and bills has given us consistency in our meals. This New England style steak and seafood restaurant will definitely fill you up. Portion size is great to huge! No one will leave hungry. Fresh seafood is picked up daily flown in from the northeast and daily specials are offered. It’s a open floor plan with a stage in the middle with live entertainment. From baked stuffed to deep fried you will get a great meal here and a friendly staff. The only thing that I personally would like to see is a better dessert menu.

We have been here several times. The food is always delicious and the staff if always great. Tonight was our first time at the bar and we couldn’t believe how big and pleasant it was. Great drink specials at the bar and delicious food, as always. Can’t wait to come back! Even our kids love this restaurant!

Went for a friends birthday party, not going to be going back again. I’m pretty sure they picked their chef up off of the side of the road. He/She has no clue how to cook. Food was flavorless and not cooked to order. Not worth the drive or money or time!

Sat in the bar area for happy hour deals. The bar area was renovated, not completed yet, but almost there. My husband had a caesar salad & grouper tacos, I had the french dip sandwich, both were good. Only complaint is the tortilla chips, they were red & green, not crazy about those.

Ok. We had heard great things about this restaurant. We moved down here 8 years ago from Massachusetts and expected perhaps a bit better. My husband had the swordfish, which came with an avocado sauce! The fish was five stars. Fresh, big portion, and perfectly cooked. The sauce, which he had on the side, thankfully, was horrible. What were they thinking? My crab chowder($ 8 for a cup) was delicious, with big chunks of crab and the clam chowder was good as well. We ordered the special appetizer, the lobster bombs, only to be told they were all out. This was at 6 pm! I ordered a pound of steamers. Overcooked. Our friends ordered the swordfish(excellent) and the shrimp scampi — bad, swimming in oil and the shrimp were a little less than mediocre. Our server, Beth, was excellent and helpful. The entertainment was an excellent singer and musician. The booth was comfortable and spacious, but the décor needed help big time, and the lighting was too bright — looked like a cafeteria. To summarize, buy your seafood at Oakes farms on Davis and cook it at home. Not worth the money.

Blackened fish cold(still frozen) in the middle. Thai chicken dish. Chicken raw!!! Not sick yet. When we told the«chef» about the problem. He never apologized only asked did you send it back. He also thought that whole wheat bread was gluten free. Where did this guy come from. Will never be back.

I was here a week ago with mom. Food and service was great but we were here early. I decided to check it out again. Being a Friday night, I asked for a table in the bar area as I was on my own. The service was excellent, as was the food. I had the raw oysters as an appetizer, and the lamb chops for dinner. I chose my own white wine for my oysters, but asked for a recommendation for the chops. They sent out several samples the chef recommend. All were good, but one was great. Very accommodating. I will definitely be back.

I am not sure about some of the bad reviews I’ve read about this place, especially ones that say the food and service were good but they were only given 2 stars because the place isn’t particularly attractive. Especially since it’s clean and presentable and not a dive by anyone’s standards. My hubby ordered a seared Salmon sandwich with lemon dill menu($ 9) which was inexpensive but quite a large piece of perfectly cooked and seasoned salmon and a boatload of really good sweet potato fries. I ordered the lunch portion of Salmon and Swordfish stir fry($ 10) which is sauteed with vegetables and is served on rice. My only suggestion or «complaint» would be that I would have preferred the rice on the side so that I could decide how much sauce I wanted on my rice. The stir fry was delicious with an Asian/teriyaki flavor and huge chunks of both Salmon and Swordfish. Our server was quick and friendly. The bathrooms were clean. The music playing in the background was of a local radio station which did keep getting some static(which was annoying at times). I would suggest maybe playing a commercial-free Pandora station would be better. All in all, a satisfying, tasty and inexpensive seafood meal.

Not sure what all the problems noted could be… we had a great dinner. Lobsters, fresh fish, nice salads, stir fry… we had a party of eight. Not ONE complaint? Prices were good, we live here full time, and eat at restaurants all over Collier and Lee County. The service was excellent, new servers shadowing experienced staff. This was a nice enjoyable well prepared meal, and will put it on our rotation. We eat out at about 20 meals a month, more than 10 for dinner. Give BILL’s a try… we really liked it!
