Although brief, my experience was top notch. The place has a real classy ambiance and some«proprietor blend» cigars that looked mighty tempting. When I found the stick I was looking for I inquired about buying a cheap cutter and lighter since I was in from out of town but the guy working the counter refused to sell me one. Instead of scamming a few extra bucks out of an unprepared out-of-towner he said he would get the cigar all ready to be smoked. I was thoroughly impressed with this establishment.

Wonderful oasis, filled with great cigars, good music and a very comfortable setting. Pleasing to the senses. I will continue to visit and enjoy the break from the heat. Great way to spend an hour or so in Naples.

We stopped in to get a smoke as a small gift for a friend. Met Alan who runs the place and was able to meet our price point while giving us some further background on the cigar business and future of smokes in the USA. Would def revisit. Prices were at a tourist premium.

I had a great experience at this shop. During our vacation my wife and I visited calle ocho in Miami and we were underwhelmed by the experience. We visited a cigar factory and we didn’t receive the attention and service we had hoped for. I have had some really fun experiences including visiting Cuba and meeting some of the torcedores in the La Casa del Habano shops, talking to them and receiving great cigars and a great experience. I was hoping my time on calle ocho would be like that but it wasn’t. Marcus Daniel was a great experience. I went on Friday while they had a torcedor from Miami rolling and I smoked a Marcus Daniel Sun Grown Torpedo. Let me say the cigar was amazingly constructed and blended. It ashed once! It was delicious. Easily a 9⁄10 and better than the majority of cuban cigars I’ve enjoyed. I accompanied it with a generous café cubano and bottle of water. Marcus himself was in the store and took time to chat with me. He was a very pleasant and hospitable host. I went on to buy some sticks to take home. If they are anything like the cigar I smoked in the shop, I can imagine I’ll be buying all my cigars from him.

Excellent cigar store. Pleasant unrushed knowledgeable. Denise knows her cigars and is a real asset to the store. I am not a smoker, but my husband is, so he enjoyed a great smoke and I enjoyed a great time lounging in their store. A wonderful place.

Had a chance to stop in there and was surprised by just how nice the entire experience was. No rush… no snobs… and no pretense. Marcus was very a very nice host who listened to what I was seeking in a smoke and suggested one. Overall the cigar was ok, but my experience at the shop was much better. The Cuban coffee was also a very nice addition to my visit.

Quiet. Authentic. Relaxing. It’s so nice to spend the day in a Cuban themed cigar lounge. It’s not the club atmosphere of nearby lounges. Great variety of cigars and on Fridays you can watch as Juan hand rolls fine house cigars. This is my new favorite hangout!

So I made the classic mistake… walked into a cigar shop sight unseen and let them talk me into their ‘house brand’ cigars. I guess I usually give the benefit of the doubt with this too often… and this was the case here. First off, 12 dollars for a house cigar is excessive… there are lots of cigars that are worth 12 or even twice that, but they have to be excellent. Not only was it not excellent, it was un-smokable. There was no draw… bad flavor… I put it out with ¾ of it left. Even if it was 4 dollars it was too much. I guess a lot of it is my fault… but let my failure be your gain!
