The sushi was so fresh and delicious! We tried three rolls– three friends, spicy salmon and crazy eel. I recommend all three but the spicy salmon was particularly delicious. Also, the green tea was amazing. If you’re in Naples and want to find a great place for sushi or dim sum, this place will not disappoint!

We loved this place, but ownership has changed and so has the quality of service. Two times we have placed an order on Sunday. Once we were told they were closed for a meeting and we would have to call back in two hours. Yesterday we ordered online, and received a phone call stating that the Chef was on break and we would have to wait an hour for our food, so we cancelled the last order we will ever place here

Place was empty on a Friday night, but why? Food and service were wonderful. Ordered the best roll we ever had: lava drops! And the eel was awesome!

My family and I went to Benja and what can I say… the service was excellent, the food was great, and everyone was so friendly. Our server was actually the manager, Kenny, he was so personable and talked with us and even made us a drink on him, we tipped him 50 bucks on 30! The food was filling and just a little pricey but if you order the bento boxes, its all worth it! So good. Will definitely be back, especially after they re-do everything.

Been here a couple of times and the sushi is always good and the service prompt. I would recommend it.

I barely want to give them a 1star. First time, and a local delivery. Better to check everything in order when they arrive. It wasn’t, they were missing some sauces with my order and I called and explained. I know the person who answered for Benja understood why I was calling bcuz they forgot part of my order. I wasn’t sure if he hung on me? Or that they would be by my house shortly w missing items. A half hour later I called, to ask where they were?, he disagreed w me and hung up again. I would never order from again. They are rude, worst customer service and very unfriendly. I had given the delivery person a very good tip as well. Ridiculous. I never write reviews, but this was bad enough to want me to do so. Be warned.

Not very impressed with the quality of food or service. Felt that the dishes were soggy, and the sushi was fishy… But the water was very refreshing! There’s definitely room for improvement.

Sushi and college basketball are not typically thought of as going hand-in-hand, but this past Sunday night something magical happened. There was something about the front-row seating at the bar with satellite tv, Sapporo on tap and $ 5 sushi rolls special that turned what was going to be an average night into something awesome. Now, I’m not a sushi connoisseur by anyone’s definition(as I was only recently introduced to the concept of eating raw fish), but I was blown away by everything I tasted when I went here. The salmon sashimi was unbelievably fresh, and the spicy tuna roll was a pleasant distraction from my bracket falling apart before my eyes. I’m pretty surprised by some of the negative reviews on Unilocal, but they’re probably just upset that the best sushi in Naples isn’t found at some overpriced place by the water. Keep doing your thing Benja, and I’ll keep coming back. See you soon.

Just your average Thai Sushi place. Not that Thai can’t make sushi, but I still think it’s best at the Japanese restaurants. The quality of the fish was good, but nothing special about the rolls. If you are really close to this place, I guess it’s fine. If you are a sushi lover, might be worth going out of your way to find a better place.

Been here a couple times. Sushi is good from what I remember but this review is based on Ramen. For sushi I prefer Fuji but this is the only place in Naples I have been able to find Ramen, and it’s not even advertised. Ask for their special Ramen menu. Mediocre ramen but satisfied my craving. Since arriving from California where authentic mouth watering Ramen is available in abundance I was craving it. I did like how this Ramen offered a little more in veggies with broccoli and bok choy but the noodles and broth were average, pork a little tough even. Friendly and attentive service. Great ambiance and décor as well.

Pleasantly surprised so good! My husband had a thai curry dish and the rest of us had sushi. Loved the crazy tuna roll. Size of rolls were good and priced competitively also very fresh. Service was friendly and the space was clean. Definitely will be back. So glad to have another sushi option close by.

Nothing special. Empty on a Saturday night, says something. Good for lunch with their special pricing. Too high priced for the area surrounded by fast food chains. And can’t justify it for a date night, not impressive enough. Small place with a sushi bar nice for solo dining. Some booths, tables and chairs, outdoor seating facing parking lot. Service ok, food ok. Not liking the ginger dressing. Just one taste to the Pad thai … Salty. Curry ok, didn’t try the sushi tho. Nothing to call me back. Sorry

Stopped in for lunch. I had the Chicken Panang. Great flavor and balance between the sweet peanut curry and spice. Friendly staff. A little dead at 12:30 on a Wednesday for lunch. Food was great and I’ll stop in again!

Seriously the best thai/japanese you will get in Naples. Don’t bother with other places. I am a curry fanatic and my husband is pretty serious about his fish(he’s pescitarian). My husband was so impressed with the grade of the sushi, and I was just as impressed with the curry. Everything is fresh and prepared perfect. This is our favorite place to eat because we know we will not leave let down about the food. It seems in SWFL this happens a lot because places are very light on Spices and do not stay true to the ethnicity of the cuisine. Benja doesn’t do this! Always perfectly spiced and flavored! Thank you so much can’t wait to see you all again!

Wow, just wow. Love this place. Food was amazing, great service overall. The decorations and everything inside looked great. Food was on point and just the right side of portion to eat. Eve the restroom looked beautiful with interior design.

We all know that Naples is sleepy town on a Sunday night. It’s been quite hard trying to find a suitable dining experience without having to opt for the typical drive-thru heaviness. Thanks to Unilocal,we found a «new» sushi place that was open at later hours. Although this location does not have drive-thru sushi anymore, we were more than comfortable having the restaurant all to ourselves. With that being said, my review may be a little skewed because we were it. You would think that an empty restaurant may be scary, but we took advantage of our Sunday night $ 5 rolls. I started off with jasmine tea. Loose leaf! Thank God! I don’t know what it is, but there’s a certain authentic bitter but aromatic quality to balance the sushi rolls. I remarked to my husband — «They did the tea right!» The house salad had just the right amount of ginger dressing on it as well. We ordered a spicy tuna roll, boston roll, tempura roll, and JB tempura roll. This sushi snob was pleasantly surprised. Everything was fresh, clean and cold where cold was meant to be. They did not overwhelm the spicy tuna and it had a nice light sweetness to it. All the rolls held well together as well. During our time there, even when we were the last patrons, we never felt like we were rushed. They allowed us to take our Unilocal pictures, strike up Sunday night conversation, and enjoy every bite. They have a separate menu for ramen. All kinds of ramen. So excited to have ramen the real way, and not the kind that will survive a nuclear storm. Lastly, I might add that it’s not in the most prime location. The storefront faces the main street, but it’s quite the maze to get in there from the back. It’s situated beside the Chick-fil-A, but it’s a nightmare to figure out the right way going in there without entering into the exit portion of the neighbor’s drive-thru. Clearly, we had no problem on a Sunday night. All in all, a quiet sushi night was a perfect way to end my anniversary weekend.

We decided to try their sushi and sashimi takeout. The restaurant was not crowded for an early Friday evening. The service was fast, attentive and very good. I was not impressed with the quality of the sashimi. There was nothing wrong, just tasted okay. Also tried the rainbow roll and dragon roll — nothing special. Maybe it was me and my mood that night!

This place was once Sumo sushi which had a drive thru and wasn’t open on Sunday which was one of several reasons it failed within months. Benja is the same thing but the chef is Thailand fantastic. Makes a good tight roll. The ambiance is not great but the prompt attention from staff and the chef makes up for it. I’m a fan. I haven’t had one bad meal there and I’ve gone several times. Very laid back. Reasonable prices and a nice Sunday happy hour.
