This place is cute and the employees were very polite, big selection of flavors. I thought the prices were quite high, it was over $ 4 for a very small scoop of ice cream that I finished in about 3 bites(and I’m a small woman). I got cookies and cream but there really weren’t any cookies in it. I remember being a bit shocked that it was $ 8 for a waffle cone or sundae. I wish them all the best but I don’t see myself returning for those prices given the small portion I received. One side note: I sat outside to eat with my dog and several other patrons walked by telling me, in all seriousness, that they couldn’t believe I didn’t buy a scoop of ice cream for my dog! Hah! That just goes to remind you that you’re in Naples!

My 6 year old son and I always stop in after our haircut on Saturdays. He gets a cake cone with two scoops of whatever colorful ice cream he is in to that day and I switch it up. I’ve had a handful of different flavors in cones, all tasty. Their milkshakes and malteds are refreshing and plentiful. I just recently had their Belgian waffle with ice cream. Waffle was made fresh and hit the spot. It will be hard not to order that next time but there’s plenty of other items on their menu that I have my eyes on. Service is prompt and very friendly. Owner is in store and very kind. Pre-made items(cake pops, cookie sandwiches, etc) are made in store fresh. I highly recommend this delicious ice cream shop for any cravings you’re having.

Some important notes here: 1. The store has recently been purchased by new owners(I’m writing this December 2015). They seem really nice, and they are starting to bring in some new items, particularly warm, homemade Belgian waffles. It may not be fair to review the ice cream here, because I don’t know how much they’re going to keep and how much they’re going to change. 2. I am an ice cream snob!(Ice cream snot?) I’m looking for something exceptional. 3. Gave this place four stars, because I don’t want to bring down the average rating while the new owners are sorting things out, but otherwise I would have given this a two-star rating. The ice cream was just average — lots of flavors available, but the two I tried(banana and… Kahlua?) were both bland. No better or worse than your average Baskin Robbins. If you blindfolded me I’m not sure I could have named either flavor. That said, let’s give these folks a chance. The new owners seem to really care about the place — let’s see what they do with it before we pass judgement. OK? OK!

Decided to try out this place on a whim during vacation and proceeded to come back every single day the rest of my vacation(shameful, I know). I tried… close to half of the flavors and this was some of the best ice cream I have ever had in my life. A HUGE flavor list of rotating varieties, lots of toppings and delicious ways to enjoy it. I highly recommend the pink peppermint and coconut. NOMNOMNOM

My wife and I are vacationing in Naples from Cleveland. Cleveland has some of the best local ice cream and we were looking for something similar in SW Florida We definitely found it here! The service was friendly. The ice cream very delicious. I had the kahlua coffee chunk in a junior sundae. The Mrs. had vanilla raspberry truffle. Both were amazing! Definitely 2 thumbs up!

We went to Jack and Rita’s a few days ago after a long beach day. Everyone in our party got brownie sundaes. They were SO delicious. The toasted coconut ice cream and snickers ice cream are so delish, as was the Nestle Tollhouse flavor. Service was great and the bathrooms were spotless. We will def come back before we leave town.

We’re staying in Naples for the week, and had a hankering for a sweet treat. I just googled«nearby ice cream» and Jack & Rita’s was the first hit. Really great experience. Owners were on-site(Saturday night after 8). Bright, cheery atmosphere. Outdoor seating was nice, and clean. Mix of young families & older folks(who know good ice cream…). Variety of old favorite flavors & creative mash-ups. We prefer«hard» ice cream to soul-less soft serve. My wife enjoyed rainbow sherbet, while I had Moose Trax on suggestion from our server. Smooth, creamy, with lots of «content»(cookie crumbs, pb cups, & chocolate swirl). We’ll definitely be back!

Good ice cream! Fun flavors. Many happy members of our party of 9. Staff was really nice. Encouraged sampling! A little too sweet for me but very good and everyone else raved. Worth the 1.5 miles off of 41.

When you’re within a mile of a place like this, you’re going to have to get in the habit of walking there so you don’t start getting ice cream love handles! Perfect spot for a warm evening treat. Rita was actually there running the register the last day I stopped in — more than just a name on the window! The coconut-almond and dulce de leche w/Heathbar were outstanding! I think on my vacation I averaged a trip here about once every 3 days. I already miss it! C’mon summer!

What a wonderful slice of heaven right in Green Tree Plaza. Our family and friends are ice-cream-aholics and try every single ice cream parlor they come upon. Well this little place is amazingly good. The owners are as sweet as can be and the product is «this side of heaven». We tried the Pumpkin — Oreo Cookie, the Triple Chocolate Brownie, The Toasted Coconut, The Fluffernutter, just to name a few. We could not stop oohing and ahing over the intensity of the flavors. We asked Jack how he got into the business and after quite a story about their 50th wedding anniversary party, it netted out to «the grandkids told me to buy an ice cream parlor» and so here we are! Isn’t that wonderful? Our grandkids get us to do the darndest things. Anyway this is so close to home and the ice cream is better than any other in Naples or Bonita. Plus it is family owned and operated. We have stopped by with our toy poodle Niki and she sits in the chair of one of the outside tables as I feed her a cup of vanilla, with a spoon:) They love dogs and come out to greet any of the 4 legged creatures who have come to visit. Jack says they are creating an ice cream that will have mini dog bones in it. We would like Jack and Rita and their family to proper at this new business and we commitment to be regulars from here on out!
