When Papa N hustled us out of the theatre shortly after the standing O began for the run of Mel Brooks’ The Producers, I assumed it was to avoid the inevitable walker gridlock that occurs ohhhhhh, everywhere in the 34103 — but, we zoomed past our turn home, my mother gently prodded him with a «honey…where are you taking us?» — to which he replied: «Menchie’s. I have 15min to get there. Hold on.» And while I had heard the froyo here was the cat’s pajamas, given that my father also recently called Skillets™ «fun», I’ve learned better than to truly trust his judgement on most establishments until the goods are also in my tum. Sprinted in around 1045p on a Saturday, place still busy, though ample seating both in and outside — though, a word to the wise, inside you’ll be assaulted not only by the agro A/C that is omnipresent in Naples — but also by the limeiest lime green/magenta color scheme — but lezbereal, no one is here for the paint job — we come for the froyo feast. Home to heaps of rotating flavors — some of my favorite of which were pistachio, toasty marshmallow, and chocolate — and though I have yet to cross paths with the cookies n’ cream, hazelnut, hot chocolate froyo or the lemon, mango, or chocolate sorbets, I fully plan on stalking them until their shingles are hung above those sweet, sweet brushed chrome handles I tenderly pull until that creamy jet of frigid dairy hits my cup. On any given night, I think you’ll have 10ish choices, ranging from chocolate and vanilla to mudslide, chocolate banana, cherry tart, and chai latte — not to mention scores of toppings, which, admittedly, at an operation like this, can be hit or miss — but generally entails lush black berries, chewy gummi worms, frosted animal crackers as far as the eye can see, boba bursting with … stuff… sauces for days, and everything in btwn. Oh, also, though they advertise having gluten-free and vegan options, don’t come expecting to fulfill all your GF/V dreams — yes, they will have a sorbet or two, but it’s still going to be 90% dairy swirl. Staff will 100% ignore that you’re there unless you eff up hard. At $ 0.49/ounce, it’s in line with what I expect to pay at this type of joint — most pricey when you go full glutton, which I really admire. So, overall, I can see why Stevo rushed to get us here — but still, no Truly’s

Owner was helpful & nice which was great I bc really wasn’t all that clear on what I needed to do get my Yogurt. There’s tasting cups that I haven’t quite mastered not overfilling despite quite a few valient attempts(more than I care 2 admit actually). I strongly grabbing some some napkins & more then 1 tasting cup b4 u hit the yogurt line. The little cups r like the kind at most fast food joints’ condiment stations aka not particularly durable & there a lot of different you hurts to try + u can swirl flavors so grab a few . You pay per ounce at the register which is where you’ll find the cute little take home spoons that r keepers. If u want to learn all about yogurt then read the napkins. Even when it’s just a little bit crowded you can get stuck waiting for a while if too many folks in front of u can’t decide. The dry toppings & wet topping stations r in separate areas so that helps in the case of traffic jams — I heard there were a lot of really good dry toppings but I got tired of waiting to check it out & my yogurt was melting. Actually that ended up being a moot point once I opted 4 the hot fudge. Cheery décor. Seating is all outside. I couldnt find a place 2 sit then there was some spaces left I could’ve squashed into but 2 many very loud kids for my taste. The yogurt was delicious & quickly melting to the overflow point so I decided to trek back to my car bc it tastes the same in the car anyway. Well it prob would’ve but then I discovered the courtyard with more tables & a lot less people! It’s off to the left side of the business tucked between it & the other restaurants.

If you are easily irritated or terrified of small children this place may not be for you. Expect to mingle with small kids running and diving around adults squealing and giggling. Neon seizure-inducing walls and bright counter tops made me squint as I navigated around the register to find my place in line. There’s a decent array of frozen yogurts and ice creams, with a tiny buffet style topping section filled with diabetes-inducing sweets… marshmallows, chocolates, cut up fruit, sprinkles, boba ballies that pop in you mouth and sweet sauces. I opted for an old fashioned: vanilla and strawberry frozen stuff, strawberries and sauce. I’ll probably never return, but I was in the area and had an ice cream hankering. I personally prefer Yogurbella located in Mercato, but to each his own.

Love the yogurt and toppings, and love that there are no sugar added options since I am a diabetic. Only complaints are that one gentleman that works there is a little rude and the other customers are extremely rude and don’t care that there are other people waiting behind them.

I’m having a hard time rating this. Part of me wants to give it one star, the other five stars. First time at Menchie’s because the ice cream place by our house was closed. I walked in and was greeted by a young man that was helpful. He showed me around and explained how it worked. I loved his customer service and was excited to try some frozen yogurt! There were many different flavors. I pulled on one flavor lever and heard lots of noise but got nothing. Went to the next flavor lever, lots of noise but not much fro-yo. Third times the charm? No. The third flavor lever took so long I finally moved on to the vanilla/chocolate flavors. Thankfully those worked and came out quick. There were many topping choices, some of them needed to be refilled but overall a lot of choices. When I went to pay for the product the man that rang me up, I assume to be the owner, seemed so unappreciative of my business I was tempted to walk out the door. Once I finally ate my fro-yo it was AMAZING. So the redeeming qualities were the initial customer service, product selection, and flavor. The downside was the functionality of the machines and therefor the limited selection of working flavors, and the ending customer service. I may be back, if it’s a last resort but there’s much to be desired.

Good frozen yogurt. They had different flavors so that was good. They did have a limited choice of fruit, but overall the experience was great.

My family and I visit Menchie’s about every other week. Their yogurt is excellent, topping variety is by far the best in the area and the store is very clean. It’s fun for our son to make his own yogurt creation. The price is very reasonable and the staff is always pleasant. Can you tell we’re fans? I wish they would open one a little closer to where we live(we’re out by Marco Island) for now though we’ll keep making the drive because it’s well worth it.

We come here like five times a week. Great customer service from young staff, owners are sweet and usually there, topping selection is fabulous, they even offer sauces like caramel, peanut butter and HOT fudge. Yum. Indoor and outdoor seating. Just love the dulce de leche and cake batter. Now I might have to go here because my mouth is watering.

Just had awful customer service at Menchie’s in Naples, FL. They refused to take a gift card — said their system was down(but didn’t have a sign up letting customers know in advance). When questioned, the employee behind the counter lectured me on treating him with respect, a courtesy he was not extending to me. We have enjoyed Menchie’s many, many times — but won’t set foot in there again.

I was introduced to Menchie’s by a client in LA and fell in love with it out there. Originally, I never strayed from their Tart flavor with Fruity Pebbles, Mango, Pineapple, Strawberry and Kiwi, but I have since broadened my frozen yogurt horizon to include their Pineapple Dole Whip, Cake Batter, and Chocolate flavors. For those of you that don’t know, Dole Whip is actually a Disney dessert. When I found out Menchie’s carried it, I legit peed my pants. I’m not even kidding. To not have to go to Disney to get this meant major trouble for my waistline, but oh well. This is too good to pass up. I always get one swirl of this no matter what other flavors I’m getting because as Drake says, YOLO! One of the reasons I love Menchie’s so much is because of their customer service. No matter how busy it is, you are ALWAYS greeted by someone as soon as you walk in and they always ask if it’s your 1st time so they can walk you through the process if it is. If it isn’t, they’ll tell you what’s new as far as flavors or toppings so you don’t miss out on something new and unique! They also give you your choice of spoon color(I always get pink) and also offer you a cool Menchie’s toy. It doesn’t matter how old you are, don’t turn the toy down… it’s adorable! My only gripe with the Naples location is they never seem to have Fruity Pebbles when I go in. It’s my go-to topping but somehow, they either keep forgetting to put it out. Or maybe they just hate me ’cause I peed my pants in their store. Oopsies!

Good selection of yogurt flavors — when i went there was mango, pomegranate, cake batter, red velvet cake, coconut, chocolate, key lime, vanilla and plain, that I can remember. Large selection of toppings, including some weirder things like cereal(Fruity Pebbles, Cinnamon Toast Crunch), and those little balls full of juice that burst in your mouth, I’m not sure what they’re called. They said the outer ‘skin’ is made from seaweed. Tons of fresh fruit(hunks of fresh mango mmmmm), shredded coconut, almonds and peanuts, chocolate chips, crushed Thin Mint cookies, hot fudge, hot caramel sauce. it’s pay-by-weight, the ambiance is manga-cute, and it’s really close to my work. Love

Yogurt and toppings were quite good. Place is overly accomodating to small kids as they have blackboards, balloons and stuff all over. It’s a good place and good location. If you are looking for a quiet place to have some dessert, keep going. If you have kids or are just looking for good well priced yogurt dessert, this is a good choice.

Super variety of both fruity and traditional yogurt flavors. pineapple, pomegranite, cake batter, peanut butter, as well as cocolate and vanilla. They seem to rotate the flavors often enough to be able to try something new every time. and as for toppings: Anything«buffett style» usually grosses me out – the whole community helping themselves things can devolve into an icky mess rather quickly. But each visit I find the toppings choices are well stocked and the area is always neat and clean. I also love how the fruits are chopped and diced into perfectly uniform cubes. It’s the little things i guess… Tip: the super cute spoons they give you are dishwasher safe — take your spoon and use it again at home! :)

Finally here is the do it yourself yogurt, add your fillings and pay only what is on the scale. Good selections, lots of add ons from my favorite Butterfinger to hot fudge(plugged in hot), fresh fruit for the guilty conscious. Cheaper for me since I barely ever want even the child size portion. Clean, cute place with indoor and outdoor seating. Very friendly staff. Only one complaint, though they have the cutest spoons,(they ask what color you want, love that!) … they do not recycle them. When asked, the staff told me they are dish washer safe and to take them home. Well, I did take mine home, only to put it in my recycle bin. Then there’s my hubby who hates the spoons, no matter how cute, says they are not deep enough. So, either bring your own spoon or please recycle theirs. Seriously going to speak with the owners… nicely.
