The John Bull Center for Cosmetic Surgery & Laser Medispa

I came to Dr. Bull in 2013 to reduce the size of the nasal tip and dorsal hump. I trusted his reputation online and in the community. I was unfortunately left with a severe case of nasal ASYMMETRY. I noticed my nose was now smaller, yet severely crooked.
I brought this to Dr. Bull’s attention on my consecutive follow up appointments. He said the swelling needed time to go down and that it would hopefully get better. Unfortunately, it did not. I moved out of state shortly after the surgery and waited 2 years to seek out a new plastic surgeon to fix his mistakes. I called the office to obtain my medical records last year and did mention I was having a revision, they charged me $ 25.
After having a 2^nd/​3^rd opinion from 2 of the best facial plastic surgeons in CA, they were shaking their heads at this case.
I moved forward with the revision in CA. I contacted the office manager, Trish and spoke to her regarding my concerns. I asked for a refund of the cash portion which I paid to Dr. Bull to buffer the costs of the 2^nd surgery I had to have to fix his mistakes ($ 6,250 + 14,000 insurance). Her response was NO, that is what consents are signed for and that they would have liked to try to fix the problem within their practice.
Why would I ever trust or have confidence in Dr. Bull to perform surgery again? Even if I lived in IL, I would NEVER go to him for a surgical procedure.
I hate to even have to post anything like this. I emailed Trish multiple times expressing my concerns, frustrations and kindly requesting a refund.
At the end of the day, I was left with a nose that was WORSE than I started with, I had to pay out of pocket thousands of dollars and take a week off of work to have a revision to FIX Dr. Bull’s mistakes!
I would highly recommend for anyone considering a rhinoplasty with Dr. Bull to get a second and third consultation/​opinion prior to moving forward with him. I would not trust his expertise in facial surgery.
I am very disappointed that Dr. Bull is not owning his mistakes, putting patient satisfaction first above all else, and genuinely caring for his patient outcomes. That is key to a successful practice, unfortunately, none of that is going on here.

Dr Bull performed several procedures for me and they were all excellent. I did a lot of research before meeting with him and I was even more impressed in person. The staff is very easy to get ahold of post op and Dr Bull will see you as much as you need after surgery until you are healed. His staff is outstanding. It’s like having girlfriends in the office with you.

Wonderful practice, fabulous and knowledgeable medicine, incredible care & attention to detail! I highly recommend!

Dr. Bull is without a doubt one of the most kind, considerate, and professional surgeons I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
He took the time to fully listen to and understand my story, and helped me figure out exactly what it was that I needed to have done to correct another doctors horrendous work.
He has now instilled a newfound confidence in myself, and I would never trust anyone else in the industry again.
There is absolutely no compare to Dr. Bull and his wonderful staff. 5 stars all around!
