Smashburger

I had a burger with cheddar and onion strings. I asked if I could have it on a pretzel bun and they said no problem! They will make your burger any way you want it. The fries are skinny and crispy. We had both plain and rosemary fries. Both were delicious. My chocolate shake was great! The people working there were very friendly and keeping a great eye on things. It was also very clean. I don’t go out for burgers often, but when I want one this is the place to go!

this place is superb! It was my first time coming here and I loved it. They give you a good portion of food for a decent price. I ordered the spicy baja smash, smash fries, and a chocolate oreo shake and it was all wonderful. If you love spicy food then the spicy baja smash is a great choice! the only thing is that the burger was kind of falling apart :/​but it still tasted great! the food came out fast and it was good, great place to eat. I’ll be back!

This is hands down the best burger place in the Rt 59 Naperville area. Bay far the best. And oh yes, they have sweet potato fries. Every time I visit, I am in burger heaven!

Heavy hand on the salt so be careful to order with no salt. But all in all a great experience

Decided to give it a try because we had a coupon and no plans for dinner. Been to another location and didn’t really think it was great. Greeted by the owner on our entrance and got a good deal with our meal. As we were leaving the owner gave us more coupons to use next time. Good food and great customer service.

This place has very good burgers and excellent shakes.
The person who added the address has clearly never been here. it’s on the corner of 59 and New York St.

I saw an article in a Chicago Suburban issue, about the best 15 burgers in the Burbs. It mentioned Smashburgers, which I thought was a fast food Sonic-​type deal. It’s an emporium for hamburgerphiles.
I had the Windy City… and it was just delicious. And big…1/3 pound (I see they offer a ½ pounder too).
The cashier/​shift manager was very knowledgeable about his business… and I enjoyed chatting with him.
I be back… very soon (I’m meeting my daughter there in 3 minutes from now!).

Great burger, fresh toppings and friendly staff. Can’t beat the price for fresh burgers. Thumbs up!

I took my boyfriend to smashburger after i got done working my fast food job for a late dinner. We where both looking forward to the shakes they offered but where very disappointed in them when we received are order that the cups where small and not filled to the top of the cup. I know if you paid $ 4 and some change for a product that you would expect to receive a full cup. I will say the burgers where good so where the fries.

Got introduced to smash Burger this evening and I’m hooked! This is the closest think to a homemade gourmet burger I’ve found. You’ve got to try the Smashed fried which are thinly sliced with herbs and spices making them outstanding. And an added bonus for this like me who prefer Coke products, they have a full selection including my favorite, Diet Coke! They do serve beer by the bottle if you’re so inclined. Great for families, couples or just to pick up and go!

Excellent. Had a flyer with coupon for a Colorado burger come in the mail so I stopped in. They didn’t disappoint. The shake was great also. Sorry to see the Dunkin Donuts go but at least we have a great alternative to five guys. Yeah!

I am not a burger person, but I have to say I received the best burger I’ve ever had at this place! I am very hard to please when it comes to burgers, but they hit it out of the park! I went here because I had a coupon and then when I was almost finished with my meal the lady brought me another coupon! Very good customer service! I will definitely be back!

I went to the one in Elmhurst and fell in love with Smashburger (burgers, seasoned fries, and Shakes) so I was super excited to find out that one had opened up in Naperville closer to home. It’s not in a very visible area but we finally eneded up there yesterday (Thursday after work). There were only a handful of other customers, but it took a long time for us to be waited on. Cashier/​Waiter were nowhere to be found in the front of the store for about 5 minutes. It was strange. Finally someone appeared and finally took our order. After several minutes, the waitress presented our meal to a different couple who apparently ordered one of the same meals. They took one of them before the waitress realized she had delivered the food to the wrong table. She quickly went to the cook and requested another of my husband’s burger to be made really quick. Meanwhile, my burger is sitting around getting cold. After a few more minutes, we finally get our food and I noticed they didn’t have the right bun on my burger. I told the waitress and she asked if she could jus give me the new buns rather than make me a whole new burger which wasn’t warm anymore. I didn’t object… I was hungry and I was nervous they would mess it up even more. The burger was ok… would have been amazing warm, but the fries which I absolutely was looking forward to were super oily! When I picked up my burger the oil from the fries had souped up at the bottom. It was really gross and frankly pretty unedible. When we were about to leave, the waitress came by to collect our discards and asked how everything was. We told her we’d had better at the Elmhurst location and she jus laughed it off. It was pretty awkward. I know she makes minimum wage and could care less, but I paid good money for good food and service, which wasn’t delivered. Whoever manages the Naperville location should really monitor their employees and find ways to make their customers happy. Needless to say, I will not be back at this location.

Every time I visit here I have an excellent experience. Cashiers are attentive. The food is prepped to order and last but not least did I mention delicious? I used to frequent 5guys and Meatheads but if we’re talking overall bang for your buck and taste, Smashburgers DOES it! $ 15 goes twice as far here than it does at those places!
They have a relatively small but quality selection of beer (Goose Island and Bud) which compliments the burger-​fry combo perfectly. They keep the facility clean so it never feels like you’re eating somewhere dirty. I’m a fan of the bacon-​cheeseburger but they have a wide variety of different burgers.
A trip here will we’ll be worth your time and money. I’d be willing to bet my last dollar on it.

Overpriced and mediocre food, I’ve tried the burger and chicken and the meat is skimpy (they don’t lie about smashing it, the patties are paper thin) and doesn’t hold up to the big buns and toppings. Fancy topping and buns are great but the meat should be the star and this chain lost site of this. The fries have potential but they’re way too salty. Save your money and get a better burger at any number of joints in the area.

Super tasty after a bball tourney in Naperville. Staff was extra nice & food was served fast and hot. Would definitely go back.

I have eaten many burgers in many different locations, probably like most people.
Before I had a smashburger the red robin burgers were my favorite.
Then I had to stop eating gluten, and unfortunately the gluten-​free bun from red robin is not very tasty.
The gluten-​free smashburger bun is very tasty and gave me the joy back of having a burger with bun. I always get the classic smash burger, and that is all you need.
I love their patties, the meat is so moist and flavorfull. Every bite of it makes me want to take another one, and another one, and… you get the idea.
In the beginning I was sceptical with their smash fries. Garlic and rosemary fries just didn´t sound appealing to me. But man, since I tried them, they are my new favorite kind of fries.
I have experienced the staff at this location always as very welcoming and friendly and my friends and I never had to wait very long for our food.
I know you shouldn´t eat fast food, but for over two months now, Smashburgers is my new saturday afternoon routine after 4 hours of martial arts training.
I wouldn´t want to miss it

Had the bacon cheeseburger, it was pretty darn good. I wasn’t too crazy about the smash fries which are a herb french fry but I can see how somebody would like it. Otherwise the fries were crispy and very good. The staff was friendly and the place was clean.

This Smashburger just opened recently, so I had to give it a try. I went in on a Friday for lunch and I don’t think word had gotten out that it was open yet, because it was pretty slow for lunchtime. I ordered a burger and fries and everything came out just the way I ordered it and it came out pretty quick. The burger had that nice crust around the edge the fries were cooked perfectly. If you’ve never been to a Smashburger, it is very similar to Five Guys or Meatheads, but with a lot more options. You can pick your bun type, cheese type etc. They have milk shakes and a few different french fry toppings. The only thing this Smashburger doesn’t have is one of those Coke machines that has 10,000 different varieties like most Smashburgers. Otherwise it’s new, clean and the employees were friendly and seemed to know what they were doing. Will definitely be back.
