Both my wife and I were not satisfied with the service, or quality of care, at Dr. Giordano’s office. I also had problems with the support staff(both in person and on the phone) not understanding the hours certain departments were open(like the lab for lab testing), or how to handle paperwork which resulted in multiple phone calls trying to straighten out billing problems with my insurance provider. I am unclear if the billing issue was a mistake on the local office, or the Edwards Group billing department, but ultimately it took about 12 phones calls before my insurance company ultimately handled the issue with me on the phone. Our experience was bad enough that we decided to switch our PCPs to doctors that are not affiliated with this particular office(at Book and 95th) for our health care needs.

Dr. Giordano is an excellent doctor. He is knowledgeable, puts patients first and keeps up on research and reading. Plus he never rushes you through an appointment. He is not always on time but I would rather wait for someone who is thorough than have a timely doctor who rushes and is sloppy. The nurses and staff are nice, professional and friendly. Dr. Giordano has hospital privileges at Edward Medical Center. However when my mother was at Rush Copley he took the time to call the physician in charge of her care and stay updated and ensue the doctor had her records(with her signed consent).
