Fairfield Inn & Suites Chicago Naperville

DO NOT STAY here, the staff harasses people of color. We checked in and they gave us a handicapped room, we stated that we wanted a room with a regular tub because the bathroom was an absolute disaster. The manager was the worst part of this whole experience. He treated my family and I as the lowest priority.
I did not book my room two months ago to be treated like a 3^rd class citizen. This is outrageous. I highly DO NOT recommend this hotel. Stay away!

We’ve stayed here several times. The rooms are always clean and well maintained. Great breakfast. And the staff is terrific, they are always friendly and helpful.

I stayed here recently, and it was a no frills motel. There is plenty of parking and the staff is friendly. The room was small but sufficient. It seemed clean, but there was a hair in the bedsheets when we checked in. There is an indoor pool that’s big enough for kids to play in, but not to do laps in. The small exercise room had poor ventilation – using the elliptical there was like jogging in a sauna.

At the time I stayed here, they were renovating the exterior of the hotel. I was not informed until I received an email a couple days before my stay at which point it was too late to change to stay somewhere else. So yes, I woke up to hammering outside my window one morning. The next morning I woke up to a loud family in the hall which caused me to notice the paper thin doors and walls. This was confirmed as I walked down the hall, and I could hear a conversation word-​for-​word through someone’s door as I was walking by. As usual for Fairfield, the breakfast fare was subpar here, but the hockey puck turkey sausages and bitter coffee were particularly bad. Two stars because the staff was friendly and the room was reasonably clean and did include a fridge and microwave. Also, the front clerk was very apologetic for my experience and offered a partial refund.
Sorry, but to me, the defining characteristics of a good hotel are quiet and decent coffee/​breakfast. In this case, Fairfield didn’t deliver.

The rooms are clean, they have flat screens and a very summery look. The front lobby is small and not very impressive. They do have a nice indoor Pool that is clean and big enough for kid to play in. The beds are comfortable and there are a ton of pillows

We stayed here one night when we had a funeral to attend in Chicago. I love the Naperville area and this hotel was a nice location on the North Side of Chicago.
Check in was swift, rooms were spacious, and the pool and hottub actually were in service! Seems my luck lately has been such that most of the hotels lately seem to be «upgrading» their pool area.
I thought the nightly rate was fair and I would not hesitate to stay again if we are in this area again.

What a steal on Priceline for $ 67 a night! We stayed Friday and Saturday in a room – me, my husband, and our 2 ½ year old. The «suite» style room was perfect; we put our daughter on the pull out and shut the French doors to make two rooms.
Very fast check in and out despite a big wedding coming in.
Ordered room service Saturday night. Good menu and good late night eats.
The only reason I took away one star was the nosy air conditioner that would wake me momentarily a few times a night. Some nosy guests on Saturday night, but it didn’t last more than 20 minutes.
I wouldn’t let those two things deter me from staying again at that price! Perfect for our small family!

Good spacious room! Staff was very friendly and the free hot breakfast was a nice option. Although, they did run out of everything (sausage, waffle batter, etc) at one point and when they brought out more it was like 5 sausage patties only and those were gone in less than a minute.
I did happen to leave a pair of pants in the room and realized this when we returned home to WA. I called the hotel and they were able to ship them to me at no cost. Great service! Would definitely stay here again.

Clean hotel and friendly staff but the first room they put us in the door would not fully lock. Large gap allowed a simple swipe of a credit card to open the door. Didn’t feel safe or secure. The management moved us to another available room. This room was also clean but the sink would not drain and there was a hole in the ceiling around the sprinkler system that had never been finished off. For a one night stay it’s fine but these «little» things would make me stay at another location next time.

This is a completely acceptable hotel. Very nice staff,.comfortable enough bed, and respectable free hot breakfast and free wifi. This hotel was clean and near restaurants.
Downside: tiny, tiny hot gym with little equipment, bathroom towels could be fluffier as is the case with the comforter. My hot water didnt get very hot, but it wasnt cold. I would prefer a bar (even if small) in my hotel.
There is a Courtyard Marriot right next door, and although Fairfield was fine, i would probably just stay there bc of the larger gym and bar.

Jacuzzi for two in room for $ 109? Nice deal. The pool and workout room are tiny but the breakfast is nice. Your standard hot and cold continental breakfast.

Poor customer service especially with third party bookings. Third party bookings are put in worst rooms. Awful experience with loud people in adjoining room and thin walls.

Very good price/​quality range. Front desk could be a little more welcoming.,
