2 Salad Bars, 2 Sodas = $ 27.00 +tip. Cold and Old«Hot» Bar items. Cold Wings, Watery Spaghetti noodles and Cafeteria Quality Meatballs. Desert bar is now just a tired looking soft ice cream machine. I wasn’t looking for a French Laundry experience, just fresh food. When you drop $ 30 taking your pre-teen daughter out for a nice dinner and the best thing is the toast, you’ve been had. Go to Applebee’s and at least feel like you went somewhere.

STAYAWAY!!! The beauty of Unilocal is you can review. Just walked out of here with my 80 year old mother. Manager was rude and disrespectful. Food is sub-par to begin with, then you get treated like dirt: First, bowl of soup and salad, what do you want to drink. Second, can’t order a bowl of soup Third, can’t order a bowl of soup and a salad we only have soup to go. Give me to go, we’ll eat it at the table-Can’t eat it at the table. If Unilocal would allow negative stars, I would go there.

Now the salad bar is what I enjoy the most, and the best section in the whole restaurant. The ice-cream is a sweet that I try to avoid, but in the past, have had. I kind of wish the way the sodas are set up give it about a 4 star review– even though I rated it a 5 star because the sodas you can’t get to(the employees get the sodas from behind the counter) I agree especially with the prices of the main entrée because it should be more from this drought we are in.

So expensive for such bad quality, costed me 23 dollars. The price keeps going up every year and the foodjust isnt worth it. I would perfer to waste 5 dollars on a mc donalds meal

Had a very good meal here! Salad bar great! 1000 Island dressing homemade tasting! Lots of fresh selection — nothing dried out or wilted! Clean and inviting! Staff very friendly and helpful! Will stop again if I’m in neighborhood!

Ok I don’t know what happened over the last few months but this place is falling apart. The food went from pretty darn good to what the heck are you feeding me. Was excited to try the new summer tri tip special. they murdered the tri tip it was so over cooked it was nearly jerky. The zucchini was grilled to death and the potatoes wer under cooked. Only good thing was the corn and the shrimp. I think we will just find a new place for dinner. This is a once in a while treat and tonight was not worth the 45 dollar total. They also removed the desert bar and left it just soft serve :(

We ate here for fathers day. It’s where my husband wanted to go. The cashier must have been thru the ringer by the time we got there because she was unaccomadating, rude and very grumpy. I was seconds away from cancelling our order and getting my money back but we were all very hungry. However, our table server, caitlyn was very sweet, helpful and made us feel better about our choice of restaurant for the evening. The food was fresh. Salad bar was clean. Service other than the cashier was wonderful.

Great all around food and service. Haven’t been to a sizzler in years and it’s still the best shrimp and steak I have had. Bathrooms needed a little attention but other than that it was great

I know this place has been here forever, but finally tried it not too long ago. Their salad bar is quite big, and it’s all you can eat. I got the breaded chicken tenders with Swiss and ham, and it was pretty good. I will probably roll with the salad bar option next time I come, considering spaghetti and crunchy tacos were part of it.

Prices are way to high for the quality of food and the meal is either over cooked or under cooked. The quality of the salad bar is decent on the certain day. Waiters and waitresses are quite respectful

the WORST salad bar i have ever seen in my life. few choices and what they had was gross. you can’t offer caesar dressing so i can at least enjoy a simple salad? really, i can add my own croutons and cheese and lettuce, i need the dressing. i am vegan and honestly, that was a joke. i only went because some reviews said they had a lot for vegans and vegetarians. sure if all you like is cold veggies. even the black beans were cold. no potato bar, the soups were not fresh. i was too scared to eat the clam chowder with it’s crust and the«mexican» bar was just depressing. our server was sweet and attentive. i felt sorry for her because the manager is a bit of a douche. i have a service dog, well marked, under the table. we had been there 30 minutes and this dude makes a point to come to our booth, stand for an uncomfortable amount of time and stare at the dog. no one else bothered us, but apparently his culture deems them unclean. lol. at least he was smart enough to say nothing as i am a para legal and service dog advocate. i would have had HIM for dinner. the whole posturing thing and making somewhat of a scene was uncalled for. i’ve had this dog for 8 years. he knows how to act. there aren’t booths so it’s the hard chair or nothing. hard place for a service go to find room under the small table. but we picked out a corner and dealt with it. if i ever go back(doubtful) i’ll carry a photo of my dog so he can stare at him in the back, where he belongs, not in front of my table while i’m trying to eat. 15.00 is a lot for a wimpy salad and some vegetarian pinto beans. and that, was what i ate because i don’t like cold vegetables. the corn, black beans and other veggies were all chilled for some reason. i went from being excited to see a sizzler, since there arent many out there, to wishing i had made another choice. oh well. live and learn oh and trying to get into the parking lot, is a circus act. we had to park on the street because you just cannot maneuver that whacked out parking lot.

My niece insisted on coming here for her preschool graduation after party. Auntie told her it was closed, but her mom sold me down the river. Apparently, she has this policy of not lying to her child. Auntie is a vegetarian and a city slicker and kind of a snob. I hadn’t been to Sizzler since I was a little girl. And even then, I think I complained about it. Frankly, I didn’t even know how the place worked, which the niece thought was hilarious when I sat down at a table. «Order at the counter, Auntie Rosie! SHEESH.» I think that’s the first time she’s ever mocked me. She’s getting to be such a big girl! So the patrons were a mix of grouchy seniors who are bugged by kids… and kids. So that’s a fun dynamic to watch. The staff is nice and does their best to accommodate both groups. And the salad bar was actually totally fine. I wish the tomatoes hadn’t been chopped so finely, but they and all the other veggies were fresh and tasted great, and the bleu cheese dressing was surprisingly chunky and rich. And the chocolate mousse was pretty good, though it was full of Oreos. Also, they still serve that cheese toast, and it’s still freaking delicious. They also have Sierra Nevada, which Auntie appreciated very much. There are about 500 places in Napa where my niece could’ve had a big plate of spaghetti and meatballs she didn’t eat. But to be honest, I think she loves Sizzler because it’s fun choosing her own foods and filling up her own plate. And I had fun watching her have fun. So if my favorite kid insists on dining at Sizzler the next time I’m in town, I have decided not to tell her it burned down.

Wow I can not believe this place. I’ve come in here 3 – 4 times and personally seen the person who I think is the owner(older Indian man) being verbally abusive to his employees. Just today I witnessed him punish a girl because another customer commented on how he was treating her. I have a mind to call the labor board and report him but I’m sure he would just fire him. I hope he gets sued. This place is horrible, don’t eat here or you’re support his abuse of the staff.

I cannot understand the bad reviews of Sizzler. Its clean, orderly and fast service and the servers try to be helpful. Its not jammed as some other sizzlers are, the steaks are decent, the baked potato accompanying it is good, there are no complaints from us. Every time we drive over from Sonoma to Napa, we stop at the Sizzleer for a very nice, affordable meal. For those who make smart remarks about the elderly dining there, remember too smartass you will be old and lame one day.

Sizzler has always bee a family favorite that is sure to please everyone, but is it a good fit once your family is all grown up? Hmmm, maybe not so much. I came in the other day at lunch time and it was not very busy. The one in Napa is on the small side and there is a variety of specials where there are choices. I had a small steak and the salad bar. The steak was not a good cut. The service was inattentive and the salad bar greens were a bit mediocre. I will give them an OK because that is just what it was. Manager, teach your staff about service. Your servers are inexperienced. they need to know that there is attention given to details. It is the details that make or break a meal. Not sure if I will be back for a second chance.

This was the worst Sizzler I have everr been to. the food sucked and the customer service sucked even more! I could have been okay with just sucky food but the employees could have been in a better mood. Eww will not be going here again!

I admit, I love this place… we use to have one in my hometown but it closed. When I moved to California, me and my partner went to the location in Sunnyvale and it wasn’t very good… Fast forward to 6 years, I came here because my native Napa ex-co-worker would rave about Sizzlers and so I’d thought I’d give it a try again. Well now I’m hooked! I come here 2 – 3 times a week because it’s inexpensive and you get a good bang for your buck! Also, it’s down the street from where I work and where I live so I can’t complain!
