While visiting laundromat next door, noticed this carniceria next door. Clean Hispanic grocery store filled with the prerequisite supplies. This review is mostly for the taco guy outside which I couldn’t resist. Pay inside, give the taco man your receipt and your order. I had the Al Pastor(marinated pork) tacos and added in the onions, cilantro, like and red salsa. Although not grilling on a rotating spit(precut and cooked on a flat top grill), it was still Yummy and spicy.

I shop here every Sunday when I am in Napa. I like their meat market, they have a great produce section, and all the basic staples of dairy that one could possibly need. What they don’t have is a lot of bread, and forget about pre made biscuits to bake… One thing that bothers me is there seems to be a problem with their freezers, we have purchased popsicles here, and they are in poor shape, a few times the entire section has been empty as if everything spoiled. The guys in the meat market are always willing to help, and answer questions, and if you want something specific they will cut it or grind it or what have you. Love this spot!

I originally started with one star but Ill give it 2 due to its convenience for me. I live a short distance from the market. The establlishment itself is great, plenty of parking and all that. I have stood at the meat counter watching other folks get tended to before me, than i actually have shopping there. I have been flat out ignored by 3 guys behind the counter, staring at me as if i were from outer space. I have been ignored by less. Ive never had an issue with the cashiers or anything. I, unfortunately know the underlying issue here. Im sure there are places here that dont treat folks well that perhaps havnt studied english full time, probably because they are working and trying to take care of their families and what not and now I am understanding how it feels but 2 wrongs dont make a right. Anyhow, there are a dozen markets here in Napa, I would try to steer clear of here if you have to work the next day. You might be here a while.

Horrible customer service!(Except for a couple young ladies who are always really sweet & friendly) Rude and unprofessional. Only one cash register open when clearly there should be more. Sick employees coughing and sniffling all over.

They did not have the kind of marinated meat i was looking for but the butcher actually made it for me. Didn’t take long and he was really helpful. I will be back.

Lola’s Market is a locally based Mexican grocery chain. Mariachi music plays as one browses the aisles. It has a festive atmosphere. In the produce section, one can get fresh aloe vera&cactus. There’s an astounding array of candies, from tricolor coconut snacks that resemble the Mexican flag to marzipan made from peanuts rather than almonds. One can get guanabana nectar, sangria-flavored non-alcoholic soda, a Pope John Paul II votive candle, dried roses, Peruvian beans. You name it… they probably have it. In some ways, it’s more affordable than Trader Joe’s or Target. It depends. There’s friendly service, and it’s a neighborhood hub. It’s a clean, bright, affordable, fun place to shop.
