This place is literally a hidden gem.
The tacos a la plancha here are the BEST. If you’re looking for great tacos, for a good price, this place is where to go. It’s so fresh and doesn’t take long at all to get a great dinner! This place is a must go to.

Named has changed to Valencia Market but I will Unilocal on this page since theirs has not been created. Great great Mexican food. My go to spot for tamales, champurrado, and tacos. Amazing! You must try.

Juanita Market is in an unassuming place. It’s sandwiched thanklessly between a Subway&a Carl’s Jr, with the Fresh&Easy nearby. They’ve undergone many changes in ownership, they’ve added more parking on the side. They’re a great deal cleaner, including their small dining area.
Their superb tacos al pastor have a prayer. Flavorful, filling, they have a salsa bar and free tortilla chips. They have friendly service and reasonable prices. I had been looking for a taco truck– the Tacos Garcia recommended by the French Laundry’s Thomas Keller, but it was absent from Yountville as well as the gas station parking lot across the street from Napa High. Unfortunately, I had also zipped past a taco truck on Salvador Ave, as well as the Tacos Gitana by the Old Faithful Geyser in Calistoga. Juanita Market is excellent! I look forward to trying their chile rellenos and tamales.

I like it. I want to go again soon and hope that next time I love it. I’ve been here 4 times, I always order the same thing .and each time it’s been made by a different person. Inconsistent but Friendly. Tip: don’t expect speedy service. They take their time but it’s usually worth it.

Best tacos I’ve tried in the area. I had the pastor tacos and chile verde (YUM), boyfriend had the carne asada, and the chorizo. Along with a few beverages, this was the best taco lunch we’ve had anywhere in Napa! Friendly staff as well! :)

Best tacos in Napa! They are very friendly and prepare your food right away. Now they gave tables and chairs for you to sit and enjoy your food. You can call in your order and they will have it ready for pick up.

This place has some of the BEST banana leaf tamales I’ve ever had! The tamales were so moist, almost as creamy as polenta in consistency, but held well, and their pork was just right. I was not expecting to be wowed since based on appearance, this is your ordinary Mexican market which are not normally known for «amazing» food.
I also ordered some asada tacos and was pretty impressed. I’m big on meat quality and just by eyeballing the meat behind the meat counter, I predicted that I was not going to be disappointed with their asada since it looked very fresh. I can’t wait to try other options. So far, so bueno! Worth a try!
