OMG so good. I had the hamburger and the potato bun alone totally worth come here for. My brother couldn’t stop talking about the pancakes being the best ever and made me try them and they were really good. They have indoor and out door seating and while the whole order first and wait to be seated is a little odd it isn’t that big of an inconvenience. They had a band playing which make the setting nice. Everything was wonderful. Can’t wait to come again.

So delicious! We came here for breakfast. Ordered the Eggs Benedict and Wine Country Flapjacks. They have several gluten free options(pancakes, English muffins, etc.).

Great breakfast! Order at the counter and then the food is brought to you. They had live music playing on a Saturday morning and it was awesome! So many great food options! The Mexican breakfast sandwich was delicious(eggs, green chile, jack cheese and salsa). The huevos rancheros and eggs Benedict are also good choices.

Usually I do not write reviews and would not like to write a bad review for a business. But I really have to this time for the sake of people’s stomach. My girlfriend and I came here to get breakfast before heading out to the wineries. I ordered the Eggs Anyway and my girlfriend had the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. After eating the sunny side up, I had diarrhea right afterwards and throughout the whole day. It ruined my whole experience at Napa. Overall, the food and service was not good either. I will never come back nor recommend anyone to come here.

Very crowded local spot, unexpected at least when we went on a Tuesday morning in June. Also more than I expected to pay for what we received. That said, the lemon ricotta pancakes were delicious and the omelette my husband ate was also really good. Friendly service and very good food, not sure I would go again unless I wanted this more pricey fare.

We stopped in for breakfast. They’re serving the lemon ricotta pancakes with fresh strawberries and they are amazing. Not too sweet, light and fluffy, great flavor. You don’t need syrup. Most breakfast sandwiches have no flavor, but this one was very savory. The ham balanced well with the cheddar cheese and the homemade potato roll was delicious. The staff was friendly and you can tell they enjoy their jobs. A must go for breakfast in Napa

So, first off, when you live in the city going to a restaurant which has a PARKINGLOT with EMPTYSPACES is really exciting. I liked the atmosphere — it was homey and casual. I got the eggs benedict — which was in the three star range. Hollandaise was a little bland — I like it more lemony. Ham tasted like ham. English Muffin like English Muffin. Eggs like eggs. My husband go the snapper hash special — which he said was too spicy, so he couldn’t really taste the fish — too bad. My friend got the Crème Brulee french toast which was very rich and delicious — no lack of flavor in this one! And it definitely also tasted like crème brûlée! I thought all of them were presented really nicely. I really liked the big windows — yay for light. Got there at 8:15 on a Sunday and it wasn’t too busy, but it seemed to really fill up about half an hour after that and by the time we left around 9:15 there was definitely a line.

I’ve been coming to this place since it opened… I still love it just as much! Their burger with white cheddar and homemade bun are STILL my favorite!

One of the best breakfast places I have been to in Napa. My boyfriend ordered the Huevos a la Mexicana, green chiles were perfect. I ordered oatmeal with strawberries, inhaled it. My brother ordered scrambled eggs and sourdough toast, I also stole a few bites it was very delicious. So all orders tasted extremely yummy. The tortilla was«soggy» but that’s what happens when you put peppers, fried eggs and cheese on a tortilla! Can’t wait to eat here again when we are in town!

I would give this place a straight up five stars, if it weren’t for the unorganized and not-that-pleasant way they handle tables and service. This reminded me very much of the Seinfeld episode with the Soup Nazi, the soup is so good, they can abuse their customers. OK abuse is a bit too harsh to describe the place, but some of the workers aren’t very friendly, no one acknowledges you as you walk in to get seated, you just stand there for a few minutes until someone finally yells at you to put your name down on a yellow notepad. Granted they were busy when we visited, but I still feel like a friendly hello, will do a business good. BUT, after eating the breakfast they had here, all is forgiven and we WILL be coming back. If you don’t mind sacrificing great service in order to enjoy an amazing breakfast, give this place a try! Just don’t expect to be treated like you are special :)

Love the old town home style ambience. Most people that come in are recognized by first name. The ladies up front are sweet and full of character. Lines form early but accommodated quickly. Alexa is right up in the front lines serving people. Great family atmosphere! The lattes and coffee are great! I love food places where the owner walks around and engages with their customers. It’s the atmosphere that makes people come back. Wife and I ordered the Eggs Benedict and Chilaquiles which were delicious and very hefty portions. Will definitely come back next time we’re in Napa. Great way to cap off our trip… Oh and I can’t forget the LEMONRICOTTAPANCAKES!!!

We added this spot on our list of places to try because it was voted best breakfast in Napa by Bohemian readers. What a fantastic breakfast! I was overwhelmed by the menu so I went to Unilocal to see what were the favorites… The huevos rancheros scored right up there so I went with that… The crispy corn tortilla made it shine. The beans and salsa were great, the eggs were cooked perfectly, together it was heaven. This is not a table service restaurant. You order at the counter, find a seat, then they bring you your food when it is ready. There are lots of luscious looking deserts and pastries in the case that you can check out while waiting to order. They have lattes as well. There are small tables outside on the sidewalk and a number of tables inside. They even have one huge table if you want to bring your whole family.

The breakfast sandwiches were wonderful! Chai and coffee as well. Cute atmosphere inside and really kind service. Four stars instead of five because it took forever for our food to come out. Also it doesn’t seem like a great process for seating, people seemed aggressive and there was a wait. Didn’t seem like good direction from the staff. The sign said seat yourself but that didn’t seem to be working. We would come back for sure :)

We stopped in for a quick breakfast before a day of wine tasting and more excellent eating. We ordered a fresh squeezed OJ, hot chocolate, blueberry muffin, and a blackberry buttermilk muffin. Everything was so delicious and fresh! The restaurant isn’t much to look at, but the food and drink were high quality.

I was so hesitant on coming here after reading that the place had been infested last year. But before that I had always wanted to try the food. So I finally did with my boyfriend and it was so good. Anything you order for breakfast is great. However I do wish that the breakfast potatoes had a little more flavor, maybe some sour cream? Anyways the bread choices are to die for. I got the tomato basil toast & it tasted amazing. The portion sizes are good & the staff is really friendly. The only thing that really bothered me is that the staff would wait until there were empty tables to clear previous ones up so they’d be available to customers(especially since the place is small). & the parking isn’t the bet but you come for the food so it doesn’t matter.

I thought I wrote a review for this place… I thought this place was decent. I thought their French toast with pear was okay, nothing special about it. I thought the huevos rancheros was underwhelmed along with their breakfast burger. I thought ABC breakfast would excited me but it didn’t. I thought service could be a little more friendly.

Alexis Baking Company or «ABC» is a must during your visit to Napa and I am grateful to our hotel concierge for this wonderful restaurant recommendation. Situated within easy walking distance in downtown Napa, but with free street parking steps away, you will know you’ve come to the right place the second you open the door. Locals feel like family, as the staff greets you by name. Visitors feel welcomed, and they will take the time to describe their most popular recommendations. The challenge? Choosing only one thing! The solution? Plan to visit more an once. We love the fun atmosphere, personable staff, outstanding comfort food, and reasonable prices, a winning combination and overall experience. Our personal favorite dish was one of the sandwiches — Fresh Mozzarella with Italian Fontina cheeses on tomato basil bread for 7.95. The secret is in the preparation which involved toasting the lightly buttered bread twice then baking it with the cheeses. The result is sheer delight from the first bite to the last, punctuated with a light crunch and melted cheese. The combination of the cheese is outstanding. The sandwich comes with dill pickle and pepper on the side. A side accompaniment of one of their creamy soups such as tomato bisque or cream of mushroom is recommended. This dish is actually heavy, so I would recommend enjoying it in two sittings, and saving half your sandwich for the road! On another occasion, I wanted to satisfy my southwestern craving, so the staff recommended the Huevos A La Mexicana — fried eggs on soft corn tortillas topped with cheddar cheese, onions, pasilla peppers, ricotta salata, pinto beans, tomatillo sauce, and a sprig of fresh cilantro, $ 12.95. Different, but not the same effect as the sandwich had on me. The menu features some different dishes daily, as well as regular menu items. Way to go to keep things fresh! Breakfast is served all day. The French toast or pancakes are beckoning for my return… The next time I’m in Napa, I will definitely carve out some time to visit ABC again!

First impressions of the place provides that it is a small intimate place that I don’t think anyone with parties higher then 4 should really come here. I came here on a Thursday at 10am in the morning and the place is already buzzing so I can imagine having breakfast here on the weekend cause be chaotic. I ended up ordering a hot chocolate and their lemon ricotta pancakes. The price is rather expensive as just for these two items it cost $ 18.25 but hey it’s Napa so what else do you expect. But I would hope they had added eggs and bacon to it. Now the pancakes overall were very very good. You can definitely taste the lemon ricotta and they were light and fluffy. I’m not making this a staple breakfast place for the price but when I want a little treat then I’ll certainly come back.

Stop what you’re doing and read this. Are you visiting(or planning to visit) Napa? Do you like eggs benedicts? Then you need to add Alexis Baking Company to your itinerary. It may be a bit pricey but I think it’s worth it. Before coming to ABC, I had a weird relationship eggs benedicts. I absolutely love the concept of them but they never end up being as amazing as I’ve built them up to be in my head. Then I come here and had the best eggs benedict in my life. Yes, I’m serious. I’m not even the only Unilocaler who thinks this. Now I have a gold standard to compare other eggs benedicts to. My mouth is literally salivating as I’m writing this. And fyi, you have the option to switch the English muffin to another one of their breads. I highly recommend their asiago toast. My boyfriend enjoyed their breakfast burger. It paled in comparison to the eggs benedict so I can’t even remember what it tasted like… Their restaurant is somewhat small though, so I recommend coming early or be prepared to wait. We came the Sunday morning after July 4th but were very lucky. The groups before us had 3+ people we got seated at their small 2 person table pretty quickly. And despite it being busy, service was still great.

This is one of the bakeries I hit-up when I’m in Napa. I typically come here for the baked goodies, but I’ve also enjoyed breakfast and lunch here too. I’ve ordered the omelette special of the day and the grilled chicken sammie with caesar salad and both were really good. But, it’s the pastries that keep me coming back for more. The blueberry buckle is very good, as are their freshly baked muffins, scones, coffee cakes and pound cakes. Their«best damn lemon cake» is really good, even though I’m not a fan of walnuts. However, the lemony flavor of the cake more than makes-up for the walnuts. It takes more than just a few walnuts to keep me from ordering this awesome cake. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of their baked goods. I suggest coming early, especially on weekends because this is a popular spot for both tourists and locals alike. There’s seating inside and you can also sit outside, especially if you’re «pet friendly». If you’re lucky, you’ll be there when they have live jazz music, which is so relaxing. Very friendly and attentive staff to assist you. They always seem ready and willing to help make your visit enjoyable.
