White Castle

I am an adult and I can make my own choices! And my choice is to get white castle at 1 in morning with my high school friends when I am forced to reenter Rockland Country. White Castle isn’t gourmet and it is not fancy. But it sure satisfies the hungry tipsy Michelle. Give me some fries and two sliders and I am a happy camper.
And the fact that this place is 24 hours, oh boy. I will never go hungry.

I love coming here for a quick few sliders and there world famous chicken rings. Not the best customer service but I’ll take there burgers any day of the week.

my favorite white castle location. however, veggie burgers aren’t worth a buck and the sprinkle of small clam strips aren’t worth three bucks. always love the jalapeño sliders and chicken rings. avoid grilled chicken breast, get the regular chicken sandwich. always need my zesty sauce and sweet iced tea (sometimes i buy it by the gallon).

I received some coupons for «get five sliders, get 5 free» so I took the bait and asked myself why not? The restaurant was actually really clean and the young kid that took my order was very articulate and nice. The sliders were really standard but I enjoyed the Miniature corn dogs (AKA Nibblers). They were made fresh (at least for me) and were hot. Surely hit the spot for a quick grab and go. The meal turned to be quite ideal for me as it turned out to be Crazy day at work and I found myself munching on a slider between clients. HaHa. I thing I did notice was the fact the Manager actually walked around and talked the customers (Sort of how Chefs from Fancy Restaurants walked around and schmooze to their customers). Never expected that in a Fast Food Restaurant. Pretty cool in my book.

Eh. Not sure my one and only White Castle experience lived up to the anticipation. The sliders were tasty but underwhelming, the fries and mozzarella sticks were nothing special. The restaurant itself felt like the fast food joint time forgot. It wasn’t bad or anything, it just wasn’t the epic holy grail of burgers some have made it out to be. But they’re open real late and prices are reasonable. Something you do to say you did it, I guess.

It’s White Castle. We call it murder burgers. They are murder if you’ve never had them before. I seriously don’t think your body can handle it unless you started building an immunity to it as a child. I go when I’m visiting my hometown in NY as they do not exist in MA. My fav is with extra pickles but it’s the onions which make it soooooo good. Enjoy yourself but please eat something green after.

I like White Castle so this is the closest near me. Food was good and it was fresh. Not too bad!

Gotta love White Castle… I give it 5 stars because it’s in a league of it’s own. You just can’t compare the steamy slimey, soggy, tiny cheeseburgers to any other chain. They don’t call them sliders for nothin, they slide down and they slide out! Sounds pretty nasty but it’s all part of the experience.

White Castle is awesome. Just stick to the drive thru at this particular White Castle because you don’t want to step foot inside this place. Inside is a combination of the DMV, a really depressing bar, and an Atlantic City bus station. Or, go inside and order if you need to feel better about yourself. Some real winners frequent this White Castle…

Fun place. Cheeseburger slider was good. Fries and onion rings not so good. What can I say… fast food is not my thing, but had to go after watching Harold and Kumar. My first time at WC…
Tables needed cleaning. Our server was very nice!

Pass. Some things aren’t for everyone. At about $ 1.50 for two sliders, I’m not impressed. They’re flat little things lacking flavor. But to each their own. This location is a bit dirty so I’d say if you’re really jonesing then hit the drive thru.
Two stars because they packed up homegirls order in a big craver luggage box which she transported all the way back to Cali for her hubby. A+ for accommodation.

I don’t know what it is about these gnome burgers and chicken rings but… I love them? Am I wrong for this!!! I don’t have White Castle within basically an hour from me so when I am near here, it’s my sweet sin spot. My sister actually cried once when we arrived here (no, she only weighs about 110 lbs.)
Anyway, the quality is no where good but there is something homely about these steer burgers and fake poultry donuts that I adore. In fact I am now craving them and sadly will not reunite with them for a while. The prices for these are going up which irks me. I think .50 cents a pop is decent [though not the case anymore] but I know some of them are up to almost 1.50 $ a burger. WTF?!
Place is usually clean, employees from Jamaica do NOT want to be there but sorry ma’am… gimme my meats. I also am quite fond of their coolio quarter machines. Gotten some stellar DIsney princess rings from it.
All in all, I shall return. I guess I am one of few who can truly have a Harold & Kumar moment here.

Fuck you if you don’t like White Castle. Five fucking stars.

I don’t know if I should laugh or vomit or somehow simultaneously do both when I think of my experience here. Of course I did it because of the movie and hey, I happened to be in the area and wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
Nothing. The fuss was over nothing. I found it hard to believe that there were a decent amount of customers here mid-​day and that they actually sell these burgers in large quantities. How unsatiating was it exactly? Well, even if I were drunk, I don’t think I could find this enjoyable. Yet, here I was mid-​day watching people walk out with large boxes of their burgers.
Let’s keep in mind these little sliders are pretty cheap to begin with, but I’m tellin’ ya, they taste much cheaper. More bun than questionable holey meat and a waste of 300 calories in my book.
Umm…on a positive note, it was a clean fast food establishment?

That’s exactly what you are going for so to say anything terrible about this place is just begging for a slap in the face cause you basically know exactly what you’re going here for.
Not a White Castle for miles in the Hudson Valley region and coming to this location is always a treat. What can I really say about this place, it’s White Castle; the occasional pre-​meditated murder of your stomach which we every so often «crave».

As I live in San Diego, I don’t get to have White Castle that often, so when I do it’s a treat. And I’m a stickler about my order — very basic, the original — 6 (or 8) slyders. And I want them just the way I ordered them. No ketchup, no mustard — just bun, grease patty, onions and pickle. Alas, I was broken hearted on this trip, for after hopping back on the freeway I discovered they put ketchup on them.
Sigh.

Just had White Castle today for the first time! Dude! Awesome burgers, not the greatest chain (that would be In-​N-​Out). This location was somewhat convinient — right off Rte 59 from the 287.
The burger was so greasy it damn near ate trough the box (this is a good thing). All in all — a great burger experience.
