Five Guys Burgers and Fries

Great burgers! Generous portions. Cajun fries are amazing. This is my franchise burger place where I know that they have consistency of quality and ingredients among their locations. The only downside is wasted food. Many people cannot finish the larger burgers and overly-​large portions are a pet-​peeve of mine. Other than that one hang-​up 5 guys burgers and fries is good in my book.

Love this place! We get food from here almost every week. One time I wasn’t happy with my order. The manager called me the next day. He was so nice and eager to rectify my issue. He appreciated the feedback. I saw someone said they all got sick in there review. I have never gotten sick after eating here. They must have all had a virus since they did go together. Also I can’t forget to mention when you get a to-​go order they give you so many fries!

I enjoy their burgers. I really do. The taste is good and, in the end, that is all I care about. NOT a big fan of a small order of fries being almost a full bag. But if that is my only complaint then I can look the other way and just know that my burger is all that it’;s cracked up to be. Want all the free peanuts you can eat? This venue is certainly for you.

Slow as heck but good food.
I just waited 14 minutes for two burgers and fries while my milk shake melted. There was no one in front of me. There was no line. But don’t worry — every employee smelled of BO, Febreeze or pot — so it all makes senses.
I love 5 Guys but I think I would choose a better run store instead of this one.

This store is not for me. The burger was soggy and way too much fries dumped in the bag. Is this food for human? !!

handspun milkshakes, oreo overload with oreo pieces and whip cream on top, please?!

All you reviewers who brag about this place are just cheap people who look at getting a free peanut as being a better thing than eating good food… You guys serious? Went with 6 people… Four had gas and diarrhea till next day… Absolutely disgusting… Amazing what people will eat because of slick marketing and free peanuts. Never again.

First time writing a review for anything EVER… went today with 15 kids ranging in age from 3 – 9 years old… the manager and staff could not have been any nicer… most would freak out when they saw our group… the food was delicious, the restaurant was extremely clean and the entire staff was extremely helpful… we all left saying we would come back again and would consider having a birthday party there… loved everything about it… HIGHLY recommend!

Great burgers all the time fresh made in front of you best fries I get Cajun even better and of course free peanuts I get my food to go and have it with a beer I tried the sakes too very good

Have been coming here most of the time. The satisfaction of its Burger’s quality and quantity after eating it just doesn’t upset you. I always prefer to come here than the other burger joints around the area.

East coast version of in n out? I’m sorry previous reviewer, but have you ever been to in n out? Five guys and in n out are completely different experiences and completely different burgers.

This is a haven for those who like greasy food — I don’t. Tried it in Long Beach when it first opened but was so disappointed. Tasted the burgers hours after I left — not a good place for those who care about digestive health or cholesterol. Also it’s not cheap. Beware if you are bringing in a bunch of kids. Burgers are the hot trendy thing right now, but I certainly wouldn’t recommend this chain. Did I mention it’s greasy.. .?

East coast version of In-​N-​Out Burger. Like someone else mentioned, you get free peanuts while you wait. FREE PEANUTS! And yes, they are held prisoner — you can’t take them out of the restaurant lest you profit from this uncommon generosity.
Food is prepared in plain view — something I believe should be common practice in all fast food restaurants — and the staff seemingly enjoy working there. We had a very relaxed time while chilling at Five Guys, with new-​age soda machines and distinctly Pulp-​Fiction feel in the place.
The burger was good, lightyears ahead of comparable fast food, but short of most gourmet restaurants. And no, it’s not as good as the aforementioned, and legendary In-​N-​Out. I would say that this is the only burger place I would recommend in Rockland County.

For me, there is the holy trinity of burgers made up of Shake Shack, In-​N-​Out, and Five Guys. My personal rankings put Five Guys at 3^rd, but after a length convo with my husband, we decided that Five Guys fits a totally different need than a Shake Shack of an In-​N-​Out.
Five Guys is a sloppily delicious drunken food burger. You go for the greasy goodness, not an other worldly dining experience. The have a no frills approach to the burger and it is large and in charge. So so good.
Their fries are the best of the big 3 in my opinion and they certainly don’t skimp. Equally greasy and good and the perfect complement to the burger you just wolfed down.
The milkshake? Ehh… I appreciated their attempt into the dessert category, but it just missed the mark. I felt that it was on the level of a McDonald’s milkshake, which is good, don’t get me wrong. But the fact that I put it in the freezer and saved it for later should say something. I ALWAYS finish a milkshake, even after consuming 2000+ calories worth of red meat and potato (LAY OFF MY I’M STARVING, ok?)
This location is ALWAYS busy. While I was there to put in my order I saw that you could order online and a few customers had taken advantage of that. Will definitely do it that way so avoid any han-​gry encounters.
Come for the burger, but leave the milkshake for another time.

Five Guys might be the best fast food burger joint around. This particular Five Guys has great service – food is cooked to order, but in a timely fashion, and the staff is (surprisingly) friendly. Lines move relatively quickly, but the best way to order is through their mobile app. Then, just come when they tell you and find your food and devour it. Then set up shop somewhere near a toilet.

Super delicious burger. Was surprised at the double patties and cheese oozing out in between. It made for a yummy meal. Tons of fries in the large order. Dumped two of these into a large soup bowl and filled the entire bowl. Next time, the large fries can be shared by two to four people. Was less greasy than other locations.

How can you go wrong? Fast service. Fresh burger with any amount and bunch of different types of toppings. for no extra cost. Awesome peanuts. Awesome potatoes from Idaho for the fries. They tell you where specifically the potatoes are from, what farm and city on the chalkboard. Most locations have the new soda fountains that are just awesome. Fries are top notch and always come out piping hot and cut perfectly. not tooo thick. not tooo thin. Consistency is what keeps me coming back. You always know what to expect and taste here. The jalapenos are actually hot! Can’t go wrong with a 5 Guys burger. Who cares if its the most unhealthy rated burger. I mean. if you’re eating a cheeseburger and counting calories??? U must be a very cool person. I’ve loved 5 Guys since i first ever tried it! Big fan! Is it the best? No. But its one of the most consistent, fast and well rounded burger franchises for sure.

I forgot who first introduced me to this place, but I owe them big time. Very limited selection, but it’s supposed to be a burger joint. Burgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese, french fries. I’m a sucker for their bacon cheese dogs, definitely try one… you won’t be sorry. Their grilled cheese is also pretty unremarkable!
I learned that their smaller burger is more of a normal sized burger, but that doesn’t stop me from getting their regular sized burger. I mean, that’s why people shouldn’t eat here all the time, I wouldn’t be able to get in the front door!
Sure it’s not cheap as other chains, but it’s definitely worth shelling out the bucks!

Sorry, I just don’t get the BFD with this place.
So they give you free extras on the burgers.
What is this all you can eat buffet mentality? It’s good because more is free?
So the portions on a regular order of fries is gigantic.

So there are two patties on the burgers.
There might as well be two. I ordered the one patty model and found it severely lacking. The two patty model that the Mr. ordered and I shared is the way to go, the one simply doesn’t do the job.
So you get appetizer peanuts.
Nice that they are giving you something to nosh to pass the time with. Better eat ‘em while you’re waiting ’cause you can’t take any along. There’s a sign on the door that cautions against removing peanuts from the establishment. Those peanuts are prisoners.
The place was clean, the service organized, the wait time reasonable– and the food wasn’t bad, but not anything to jones for.
