Can’t say enough positive about this gym. Clean, friendly staff, towels all for a $ 55 a week pass. Nice size with a lot of equipment options. I left my cell phone, got home and realized my mistake. 1 hr later I returned and the phone was exactly where I left it. People are focused on working out vs making someone’s day a problem. I highly recommend this place while in the outer banks.

I’ve been a member of this gym for two or three years now. It has a very nice selection of free weights, machines, and cardio, with duplicates of most, so I never find myself waiting to use equipment. Also, there’s plenty of options for switching up my routine so my workouts never get repetitive. The staff there is very friendly and professional, offering any help whenever you need it. Although I’ve never done their classes, there looks to be a good number of different exercise classes offered pretty often, including yoga, Zumba, cycling, and more. The trainers there are top notch and not too pricey. So if you’re looking to get help in bulking up, physical rehab, or just want ideas to change up your routine, the trainers here can do it all. My only gripe is the music. Not sure if the stations change throughout the day, but at the time I’m there, it’s usually bubblegum oldies or slow rock. Nothing headphones can’t cure, but if you forget them… it’s a pain trying to do squats to Stairway to Heaven.

In town for the week and decided on the last day I would go to the gym… only to find out a one day pass is 20 $, and in the off season! I live in LA and work for a high end gym, our one day pass is only 15 $ and we are happy to have guests. With only 5 cars I the parking lot you can’t tell me they don’t need the money. Based off the attitude of the guy at the front desk this is not the type of establishment I would want spend my time in anyway.

Went this gym as a visitor in a previous year. Was a nice place that was reasonable. Went back today and they wanted to charge us $ 80 for four day passes. $ 20 per person to work out for an hour is ridiculous. Guess they have decided they don’t want the out-of-town visitors any more. There are better options on the outer banks.

Well equipped independent sports and fitness club, on the main drag in this vacation mecca. You can buy a day pass for $ 20 and use the club. Plenty of room and modern equipment.
