Kim is, without a doubt, the best trainer I’ve ever worked with. Not only does she have more depth of knowledge in health, fitness, body mechanics, nutrition, and more; but her cheerful, optimistic attitude makes the workout fly by. Fitness is a lifetime passion for her and it’s evident in her approach to training. No matter what the issue is, she listens and finds a solution that makes the client happy and healthy. Over many years, each workout I’ve had with Kim has been challenging, varied, and enjoyable– and I am not someone who loves to work out. There is zero negativity to her approach-no yelling, scolding, pushing through pain, etc. but a positive, professional environment. Work out with Kim-you will not be sorry!

Signing up to train with Kim is the best thing I’ve done since moving to the OBX. She’s EXTREMELY knowledgeable about fitness and exercise. She’s got a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science unlike a lot of those so-called personal trainers that you’ll find trolling around the gym looking for clients. She provides you not only with a good workout but also with a lot of information about the science behind exercise which you can then apply to all of your daily activities. The workouts are varied, challenging and fun. Also this is a private studio which means the focus is all on you and your workout — no distractions.
