The sad part is that Sprint actually has a better deal but after what I went through at this store I will not be a Sprint customer(though I was one for 20 years until I wanted an Iphone). I was attracted back to Sprint because of the advertisement of unlimited data. I now live in the country where there is no cable service and use my phone to access the internet with my computer(as I am doing now). I went in and explained exactly what I wanted to do. «plug my computer into my phone with an USB cable and access the internet to, among other things, stream video and podcasts. I was clear that I did that now with my ATT account, how I did it and how it consumed my allowable 4Gigs of data per month. I was told by the Sprint reps how I could connect to my TV and stream all the Netflix I wanted. I inquired as to how they could offer this sort of use on their network when ATT could not. I was assured that the network was constantly being improved and that was just what Sprint did to gain a niche in the market so I decided to change. As I was sitting down with the rep to change over, and watching the video running in the background of a waitress serving coffee in slow motion to a person using a table in regular motion to give the illusion of a faster than actual computer, we first worked though one phone, while she was texting her friends, only to find out the phone was bad or more than likely the setup wrong(she forgot to turn off the phones during the number transfer). When we got another phone, went through the setup and got to the part where me made the phone capable of working as a connection for a phone(remember this is the sole reason I was changing) she informed me that that would be an additional 30 dollars a month approx. becoming upset because of the deception she asked me simply did I want it or not. Though I was mad and felt abused I said go ahead only to then find out that not only did Sprint mislead about the cost the then told me there was a 5 Gig«ceiling». I said enough was enough just give me back my phone and I would stay with ATT but NOOOO, I had to then go to ATT and go through the whole number transfer again. While I think texting friends while at work serving a customer is wrong I am not sure if this was a case of deceit or ignorance I am sure that either way, not knowing the service you are selling of selling what you know not to be true is not who I want to do business with. If Sprint had of just put their cards on the table(remember they had a better hand than ATT) I would now most likely be a Sprint customer but both the local store and the main Sprint site(I am sure somewhere in the fine lawyer print the exception is made) mislead me and I will not be using Spring. Thanks, Matt
