Passing though and was in the mood for seafood. The stuffed flounder with a crawfish/​creole topping hit the spot. Fries are seasoned well and crispy. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. Décor is a little dated but felt clean.

Very friendly waitress! Amazing jumbo fried shrimp and oysters. Nothing spectacular as far décor or building but the food is great. The only item I didn’t like was the ranch dressing. I would definitely return when in the area and wanting some fresh fried seafood. Oh yea, French fries were delicious as well.

Not so impressed. Food was fair (almost-​burned shrimp) and restaurant was somewhat rundown. Looks like a clone of Baytown Seafood in the Houston area — except Baytown’s food is always awesome.
Not recommended and probably will never return.

The Heights, Houston, TX
Made a pit stop on our way from Memphis to Houston here in Nacogdoches. Found this little spot using my Unilocal app. Was pleasantly surprised that it was really good food for good prices. We each had the catfish plate with fries and coleslaw. It was great and the portions were large.

Defiantly recommend this place. The only reason for 4 stars is the ambience. Kind of dated, that said, I did not come here for the ambience, I came to eat. The food is most enjoyable,
Autumn my server was very friendly and knowledgable about the menu, the menu has a lot of choices.
the crawfish étouffée she recommended was heavenly. Never had it before. It was filled with crawfish, and I loved it. I also had the grilled shrimp and catfish dinner with vegetables another of her recommendations, it was AWSOME too. The price was most reasonable, the portion size was more than acceptable. I would recommend sharing a meal and an appetizer. Then explore from there, I know what I ordered would have satisfied my wife and I on a typical evening out.
Only other down fall is no beer. I was informed I could go next door and bring it back.

Amazing seafood! I got the seafood platter with flounder, shrimp, and scallops. The portion was more than worth it and flavor competes with some of the top seafood restaurants I’ve had. Great staff and reasonable prices. I’ll be back

This place was good. Our drinks came out quickly as did our order but it was kinda small. I ordered a shrimp po-​boy and it wasn’t loaded with as much shrimp as I expected. Other than that it was a great place to eat.

You cannot go to this place without trying the stuffed flounder (étouffée), or the grilled catfish with large shrimp. Clean, good service and great food– at an affordable price!!!

Holy moly this place was amazing! Not only was the fish and shrimp amazing, but the service was incredible. They don’t just have fried food, either which is great. Definitely recommend the blackened red snapper.

Who woulda thunk you’d find great seafood in the NE Texas city of Nacogdoches? Well, it’s there in the form of Nacogdoches Seafood. I had the Coconut Shrimp and my business partner had the fried crab cakes. Both were fantastic! Very reasonable prices, great selection: Fried, broiled, or grilled.
