I was optimistic as I did have a friend who had a good experience. I did not. I was told on the phone after purchasing a fridge that there was side damage but no front damage, I also bought an extended warranty. I was ok with the side damage as it was going into cabinetry and the sides would not be visible. It gets the house, it has a huge burn mark on the front so I refused delivery and the guys took it away. This was about 2 and a half months ago. I have not seen a refund and have requested multiple times. The number I was given to call does not work. This company owes me about $ 1400. I will NEVER use them again. This should reflect badly upon Sears as well. Terrible experience.

The worst experience!!! Do not go there!!! We purchased a fridge that never worked. I personally read the manual, read it again, and called the service department and nothing worked. We called and were told several times that the Manger, Mario, would call us back. It took several attempts of us calling him and I think he finally answered the phone by accident. He made several broken promises until enough was enough. Several days later we called corporate, after our food spoiled, hoping they could get an answer. Could you believe they were also treated in the same manner!!! The corporate service staff helping us was hung up on three times!!! We were promised that a person would come service us but that would be over a week from that day which shouldn’t have been an option considering we received something that never worked in the first place. We tried to be as understanding as possible but this staff is the worst!!! Do not go there!!! They do not deserve business from any one until the management is restructured. They didn’t even have the decency to waive a fee to have someone pick up the fridge. I am writing a letter to the corporate office and I hope everyone else does the same after they read this. Based on the reviews, I wish I would have read these before I shopped here. I will never do business with them again! In Home Depot as we speak and they are much better!!!

This store’s customer service is a royal mess. I bought an LG washer, mr Dudley was great, very knowledgeable & helped us pick the perfect washer — the washer was delivered & installed, the technician didn’t even know how to explain the basics of the washer to me(he just didn’t know he said) he left & I read the instructions & started a load — water started leaking from the back & well after many wasted hours on the phone speaking to Paula & Natalie the most incompetent employees ever — laughing & having an attitude, they told me that the manager Mario was in a meeting. So after all this ordeal we will drive there to see their faces & see if mr Mario can now solve our problem. Very disappointed with this Sears outlet. I will never return. Buyer watch out!

1 Star because I had to. First, the floor model wasn’t in the store. I drove all the way to plantation for it, and they gave me a recliner that was defective. They then refused to take it back, and the RUDE manager, Mario, hung up on me so many times when I called the same day that I couldn’t return it. I had to call corporate headquarters. STAYAWAY! This place is so bad you’ll feel like you’re getting fleeced into buying stolen merchandise. This hassle is not worth the savings when you are sold damaged goods they won’t exchange.

Recently I was in the market for a new range exhaust hood for my kitchen. While Sears had the model I really wanted, their price was way out of my budget, so I decided to come here after finding out about Sears Outlet on the internet. While their selection of range hoods wasn’t huge at this outlet store, they did have the exact model I wanted, but it had a noticeable dent in the front edge, and the area where the hood meets the exhaust flue had several scratches on it. There was no price marked, so I asked an associate for assistance. She had to bring in someone else to calculate and determine the price. Considering there was cosmetic damage and it appeared to be missing some parts, I thought their discounted price was still a bit high. The gentleman who calculated the price explained that he wasn’t able to negotiate, but he pointed out the assistant manager and said he may be able to help me. The assistant manager came over and I showed him the damages. He explained that they would order any missing parts to make sure I had everything to make it work, and he went and spoke to his manager who agreed to take another 5% off the price. Personally, I thought their pricing was still too high, especially considering this was a «scratch and dent» item and it would take considerable work to repair or hide the scratches in the finish. I told him I’d think about his price. I left, drove to BrandSmart about 3 miles away on the Palmetto and bought a brand new Whirlpool hood for less than they were charging for a beaten up and dented unit from another manufacturer at the Sears Outlet. While I probably would return here when in the market for appliances in the future, this is one of those places you need to be careful about. Check the warranty and thoroughly check the condition of the item before you buy anything, and do your homework and comparison shop. As I found, you may be able to find a new, similar item at another store for the same price as you’d spend on a scratched/dented/used/reconditioned/display model here.

I grew up with my family purchasing most of their appliances from this store. Things over many years have changed. Now we have more stores, more selections by brands, etc… Someone mentioned to my hubby to check this store out and that they had good prices. So we walked around looking at everything, asked questions, checked out all their specials. We were greeted by a lady who was nice but she did not know much about what she was selling. Very friendly, it was just a bit difficult to get questions answered when she had no clue. Before we ever make a purchase for an appliance we always shop around. Oh yes we spend two days in the car going to every single store in South Florida. LOL, oh what fun! All in all nice large outlet store but really the prices were not anything to brag about. We actually found similar items for less at another store. Not to impressed Sears.
