Absolutely dissappointed in the quality of food and service today. The eggs were prepared well but everything else was terrible. I eat at waffle house fairly regular and I did not like the level of service today. The cooks should have never sent out the plates of food and second the waitress should have caught the issue and never served it. I guess waffle house is shorting their food in the hopes of saving money when minimum goes up. Think twice befor going there today. Very dissappointing.

Service has been speedy and well cooked. The place is clean and neat. Missy served up great hospitality today and was very attentive. Thanks for the great breakfast.

Yikes! And I do mean yikes! By far the dirtiest waffle house I have ever been in. Food all over the floor. Tables left dirty, the walls heavily spotted with grease and food(looks like is never wiped down) all the condiments were empty, couldn’t get our drinks.

This was the worst breakfast I’v ever had, I never am so dissatisfied that I would write a review but I just spent over $ 13 for a omelet, toast, hash browns, bacon and sausage and the wheat toast was the best part. I’v never taken two bites of an omelet and thrown the rest away… Especially when I’m starving and a grown man. I would never recommend anyone eat here… I’m still in disbelief!

Started going to this Waffle House about a year ago. The staff that used to work the night shift are always very pleasant, friendly, and consistent. The staff that’s been working the day shift just can’t seem to get it right. I had two different servers on 2 different occasions and their customer service was absolutely terrible. They both didn’t have any type of personality what so ever and the second server I had didn’t even check on us for over 20 mins. Like seriously?! I decided to order my food to go on the third time and. they still couldn’t get it together! My order wasn’t right and my husbands food had a long piece of brown curly hair in the eggs. I took my order back to the restaurant and spoke with the manager Nick. He was very rude about the situation and even snatched my card out of my hand when it was time to give me a refund. He was getting smart with me, arguing back and forth with me. Like dude are you kidding me? You’re a manager. My husband just found hair in his eggs as well as my order not being right. You’re not supposed to treat your customers like that. His attitude was very disgusting. I’m here to say that I’ve never acted out in public places before but this particular day… Charleston got to meet St. Louis. I called the Waffle House’s Corporate office to tell them about my experience. After about 2⁄3 days, I spoke to the store manager of this location. He offered me a free order next time we decided to stop in. I’m sure I won’t be taking him up on his offer. This Waffle House gave me the worst customer service I’ve ever received in my life!(P.S. I used to be a server so I can speak from experience). If you are going to this location during the daytime, good luck. Hopefully you won’t receive the servers and/or the service I received.

Yes, Waffle Houses are generally the dirtiest places on earth to eat(in fact I always order my drinks in a to-go cup) but I wouldn’t change a thing about them.

I moved to Virginia a year ago and had been very intrigued by this mysterious Waffle House that all the guidebooks talked about. I kept meaning to go but like most things, it got put off. Finally, New Years morning, around 11, my boyfriend and his family decided it was time for my first Waffle House experience. I’m not sure if all Waffle House’s are this small but this place is tiny. I think they had 5 tables and then maybe a dozen seats at the counter. If you’re coming with more than 2 people on a weekend morning, it may be a bit of a wait. The staff was all really friendly and seemed to know the regulars that were coming in. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich, which was very nummy, nice and crisp bacon. It came with an order of hashbrowns that I got covered, smothered and capped. I was a little disappointed with the toppings… the cheese is just one of those pre-sliced sandwich slices and the mushrooms and onions were pretty sparse. I’d probably just get them plain with ketchup next time. My only other complaint was that our food took a really long time to come out. They were pretty busy, but several other people that came in after us, finished eating and paid before we even got our food. I don’t know if our orders were more complicated than theirs or if we’re just unlucky. You can’t beat the price and everyone who doesn’t mind that kind of dingy diner feel should definitely experience it. I think this is the perfect place for when I go on travel for business and want to go out to eat somewhere unique but hate going to a restaurant and dining by myself. Here, I could just pop in and eat at the counter and not feel out of place.
