Saigon has a small selection of items. However, there were some products that they had available, which aren’t found at H&L.
I’d visit again if I was in the area, but I wouldn’t make a special trip to this store.

San Diego, CA
As a Vietnamese cook, this place is heaven. Prices are sometimes lower than H&L. They stock a lot of the ingredients we use in our cooking and really cater to the Vietnamese community in Charleston. The store is small, but everything is super fresh. They have more herbs and harder to find herbs than other grocery stores in Charleston.
Tip: it definitely helps to speak Vietnamese here lol

A small family owned supermarket for most of your Asian cuisine needs. The owner’s husband is a fisherman so he brings in the fresh seafood. The Mrs. is really nice. Sometimes hard to understand bcuz of her accent but friendly. Overall I can find most things I need even Asian cooking equipment.
