We stopped in around 5pm on a Tuesday evening and the place was basically empty. By the time our meal was finished the restaurant was much busier. Very nice décor on the inside with high ceilings. The service was great and our waitress was very nice. We ordered a Thai Chicken pizza which was very interesting. I expected it to be sweet based on the description and it was. All the ingredients worked well together but I tired of it quickly which worked out fine because we were sharing. The other pizza we ordered was the Berkeley Vegetarian pizza… I loved everything about this one… the sauce and crust were both delicious and the veg. was very fresh. We were upsold to the large pizzas for just $ 2 more by our server which worked out great because we had leftovers. I also got to try the BBQ wings which were also very good. The sauce was a little tangy but not overly so. Another win from Unilocal! We would eat here again!

Food wasn’t bad. Papa John’s is better. And the service was not good. But… nice setting and area.

The jack bread was very affordable and delicious, we came in the off season but the service was extremely fast and friendly. The pizza had a soft crust but it also was delicious. They have allot of different topping and we were very pleased.

Definitely worth the stars they’ve gotten. First time here and I let the wife order toppings that I would never choose. I was surprisingly impressed how much I enjoyed every single bite. It looks like a place that gives you pretty gourmet pizzas that are just fun and yummy. But in reality you get all that plus real pizzas with great crust and great cheese and full of toppings and flavor. First time here and I’m glad we came.

Okay, where did the Chalula go? I can deal with a lot, but what kind of pizza and sub place doesn’t have hot sauce? It’s like serving wings without ranch! Seriously, this is a new point of contention I have with you guys. I would’ve settled for Tabasco, Texas Pete, anything; no luck! I was eventually told I could have some of the buffalo sauce used for wings and yep, you guessed it, it just made everything taste like wings… I never liked your wings. C’mon already. Put the damned hot sauce back on the table and shave a corner somewhere else! It’s bad enough that the noise level in the place can rival a kiss concert, but«whomever’s?» ipod that is, is simply maddening. What a horrible selection of music. Yes, I want to listen to Taylor Swift up to 10 on my lunch break. I even phoned corporate about this once and the volume did actually go down for a few weeks before incrementally becoming unbearable again. You see, a number of us who live and work around this area used to frequent this location a great deal in the past. We found it was a nice place to grab a quick bite, discuss business, etc. That is, until the volume became such an issue. Over the last year or so, things just seem to be run differently. Not sure if it’s new mgt. or what. Regardless, I give up. It’s just too easy to go to any number of other restaurants in the area who actually supply the proper condiments and keep the background music at an acceptable level. Key word there, being«Background.» Music should be subtle, not overbearing. Giving you 3 stars for the memories and the fact that I actually did enjoy your pizza at one time. No hot sauce?! Are you kidding me? –Neil Be sure and follow me on Unilocal for other Myrtle Beach reviews. I live here so chances are if I like something, you’ll dig it too. See that little icon under my name to the left that says, «Follow this person on Unilocal?»…click that! We’ll be buds! Seriously, do it. I’m shallow and need that sort of validation in my life.

Pizza is just ok. It is nothing to get excited about, but not bad either. The crust and the cheese were not oily. The service is good.

The pizza is very good. I had the BBQ chicken pizza which was good but very rich. After 1.5 pieces I had had enough of the richness to eat anymore. Service was terrible. They weren’t even busy and it took 15 – 20 min to get 2 personal pan pizzas. It also took her 10 minutes to bring the check once we asked for it. If you are wanting something quick this is not your place. VERY frustrating.

After reading other Unilocal reviews we decided to have this pizza ordered to our room. All the bad reviews seemed to be a bit crazy. Giving a bad review for«no Veterans Day discount» is not helpful to other Unilocalers. We ordered a large cheese and a large pepperoni pizza and an order of breadsticks. Driver arrived well within the time quoted and the family was pleased with the food and I was pleased with the price. We might even order again tomorrow.

Me and my boyfriend were really hungry after seeing a movie, and California pizza was still open late so we went there, and ordered our own personal pizzas. This was my first time there, and it’s by far my favorite pizza ever. I got ham and pineapple, and my boyfriend got pepperoni and feta. We tried each other’s, and they were both mouth watering delicious! It was a perfect size too. The prices are great and the service was great also.

While on vacation we came to Market Commons, had the pleasure of stopping in for a mid afternoon meal… Very clean, seated timely, cool décor and music. Taste and variety was excellent. My wife and my youngest daughter and I all had different personal pizzas and shared a bite or two… Was very pleased to find all three of our pizzas were delicious and tasted as described on the menu! big kahuna, Monterey and Buffalo Chic pizza were all fabulous! Waited very little and was pleased we chose this store… May make it a staple on our annual Myrtle trip! It is out of the way but Market commons is a place we will certainly visit again! So until next year!

Really good pizza and a cool place to hang out. Open late, which is nice. Taking 1 star away because the bar service is so bad. Not sure how they assign who is supposed to monitor the bar, but if you sit there be prepared to be ignored for long stretches. Other than that, I like this place.

Fresh and tasty. Nice job! Clean and friendly service. The pizza was thin and fresh. Not overwhelming filling which is great for those watching their carb intake.

I must say I was hesitant at first to try California style pizza. But after reading the reviews on Unilocal I figured I would give it a try and I’m very glad I did. We got the cheesy bread and wings hot in flavor and a Pizzini pizza. The cheesy bread was delicious the wings were great and the pizza was phenomenal.

Best pizza in town! If you’re from up North looking for the type you’re used too, this isn’t it. Not greasy like those & it’s thicker. Try it! Tons of toppings to choose from. Good place to go before catching a movie across the street.

Came in and immediately noticed the baseball team of kids celebrating their most recent victory and thought, «I had too much to drink last night to deal with being here.» Luckily our waitress instantly suggested seating us in a booth on the other side of the place… good call. The food here isn’t anything crazy but it does the job and you can’t expect much more in Myrtle. I’ve had the meatball sub in the past which is a nice choice and the pizzas aren’t bad. Thicker than how I typically prefer but filling as well. The Polynesian Chicken sandwich is a winner with some serious layers of flavor. One thing I would definitely recommend is the Jack Bread. It was a few bucks on the appetizer list so we opted to stifle our hunger with and order. I must say the garlic bread meets bruschetta was a tasty combo and I would easily go for round two. On the downside it was still pretty loud and the service was a bit slow but overall a decent meal.

Buffalo chicken pizza is the best I’ve had in this area, well done. That being said, it is a chain, they do not have mozzarella sticks & it gets crowded in the summer due to location & tourist season :) the true best BCP is in Onset, MA at Marc Anthony’s Pizza!
