Professional Body Piercing by Jackie

Let me start out by saying that I did not get pierced at Jackie’s. However, I do have input about both the shop and the managment as well. I am not from the area, but from New Jersey who was on vacation and spoke to one of the girls weeks prior. I dediced to bring information needed to get my piercing. When my family and I got there, Jackie, the manager approached me and asked for some identification. However, I forgot and mistakenly did not bring my birth certificate thinking that my report card, would be enough because it said my grade number. She did not think it was enough and I did not get pierced. Although, I was disappointed and pissed, I did however learn two things. One: bring a birth certificate. Two: Although, I was really hoping she would budge and pierce me anyway, she didnt. Which shows her true character and professional stand point. I absolutely recommend Jackie’s shop to anyone who wants to get pierced! It was clean and Jackie was extremely professional. Other shops, possibly could’ve let it slide (since my mom was there) but she didn’t due to her love and loyalty to her business and because she’s an honest person who follows the law. I’d take an honest and professional piercer who follows the law then some random hippie who doesn’t care.

I went to Jackie’s to get some jewelry for my nostril piercing. I did not get pierced, but if I lived in Myrtle Beach I would not hesitate to go to Jackie! She is knowledgable, very friendly, and extremely professional. She had a nice big selection of jewelry and I loved that the place not only LOOKS clean, it SMELLS clean when you walk in the door! Next time I go to Myrtle Beach, I may be visiting Jackie for another piercing!

Would have given 0 stars if possible. Went to get my daughter a piercing for her 16^th Bday in 5 days but was told we needed a physical from her Dr. or school, which is fine since that’s the law but her attitude, rudeness & comment «well come back in 5 days!», was just unnecessary. It may not mean much to most but a little kindness /​customer service goes a long way… you will not find it there! Wouldn’t want them anywhere near me with a needle!
