First off, gotta say — WOW! Amazingly good pizza! We got a jumbo meat lovers and was it EVER a good deal! That pizza was loaded with toppings, and you definitely don’t need to order extra cheese because they lay it on good and thick. Yummmm! The guys working were so friendly. They gave us free samples to try of their chili and clam chowder — both incredible(I’ll be going back just for those, very soon!). After we finished our first can of pop and went to buy another they just waved it off and let us have it free. They chatted us up and were seriously, seriously friendly. I love a welcoming staff. I can’t say it enough how nice they were. I’d give this more than five stars if I could; honestly the best pizza I’ve ever eaten.

NOTTHE«SOUPNAZI», BUTTHE«SOUPPAPI» = HE’S MUCHNICER! I have not tried anything but the homemade soup(but the pizza looks good, as they use sliced link sausage) made with no artificial thickeners. The«Soup Papi» told me today, himself, that he only uses heavy cream and roux(cooked butter and flour) as the base for his cream of asparagus, cream of potato, and New England clam chowder(this last soup has been selling out before the end of his two day supply he makes on Friday at noon). However, my wife and I tried his chili, and his chicken noodle soup, and we love every soup/chili he makes(«abundanza»). He will give you a generous sample to try first, and has two sizes to go($ 3.50 for the large, and $ 2.50 for the small). We are not related to him, so this is a legit review(NOBULL!). As Catholics, we love the clam chowder for Fridays during Lent. The only down side is that Route 707 is being widened right now, and there is dirt everywhere outside the sign that says«Papis Pizza» in the small strip mall the mostly«to go» restaurant is located. There are some tables, and a TV set up, but we take out the soup, so we can have our own buttered bread with the soup at home during these cold winter days. Look for a huge smoker our front near the narrow entrance to the very small strip mall(«J. Mike Plaza») which has Pop Pop’s Pit BBQ, and a discount tobacco store in it. I’ve always liked to promote good independent restaurants vs. the chain restaurants.

We ordered the Papi’s Special Pizza and had it delivered, it was amazing. It was still hot enough to burn your mouth when it arrived. All of the ingredients where fresh and the dough was cooked perfectly Delivery guy here about 20 minutes after ordering in a rain storm and was very polite. All in all in was a great experience and we will be ordering again very soon!

I have ordered here twice now! First time I got the steak bomb which was AMAZING! The bread was so good, which we all know bread can make or destroy a good sandwich! The second time I ordered I got the fried buffalo chicken sandwich with spicy fries and slaw! So good! Will definitely be back!

I noticed this tiny pizzeria in the J. Mike shopping center. Last night I ordered a pizza for delivery and they said it would be one half hour. In 20 minutes, there was a delivery man at the door with my pie. It was delivered hot and no cheese was stuck to the box. We ordered ½ meatball pie and it came to $ 12.56 plus of course a tip. The pizza slice, when halved and lifted was weighted at the tip with cheese and bent the slice. Next time I’ll order it crispy. The sauce, cheese and meatballs all tasted fine, the dough didn’t seem to rise at the edge, as I would expect it to. Nevertheless, it had no effect on the flavor. I am planning on returning in the near future and will update my review to include my experience at that time.
