I miss New York and this is the closest thing I’ve gotten to since I’ve been around here. The pizza here is down right a New York slice pizza and the crust if thin, the way I like it. My husband and i came here to get pizza since it’s been a very long time we’ve had one. I ordered a regular slice and a supreme. My husband ordered 1 meat lover and 1 peperoni pizza. He loved his dish. I also enjoyed my dish except for the supreme. For some reason my mouth was burning. I knew that I hadn’t added and red peppers flakes. It’s like I took a bite out of ghost peppers whenever I took a bite out of the supreme. I just wish it wasn’t so spicy. I will come back again!

Good pizza and wings but a long wait even for pickup. Wait for seating was an hour and half. For pickup, the time was 45 minutes.

Delicious food and great service… I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a good pizza joint around the myrtle beach area. you won’t be disappointed

Delish pizza was amazing. Steak stromboli very good. Service was very good. Coming back that’s for sure.

Beat NY pizza on the strand — I make sure to eat here several times each trip down from NY — great friendly service…

Waitress was very attentive and nice.
Had the two slice lunch special. It takes a lot to get a not good review from me but here’s one.
Terrible. It was a greasy floppy mess. Should have just rolled it up and ate it. Frozen pizza is better. Maybe I caught them at the wrong time or something.
Owner needs to see what’s happening. If the owner was there he needs to wake up.
I definitely didn’t get what the other reviewers did.

Service excellent, great pizza and strombolis. Awesome sandwiches especially meat ball and chicken parm. Would highly recommend.

Delicious Ny style Pizza in Myrtle Beach! We loved it! Huge Slices! We devoured a Large Cheese, Pepperoni and Hawaiian. The crust thin and had a perfect crunch! Best pizza in the area and they Deliver!

We order a vegetable pizza it was very good we liked it and the pepperoni and plain pizza are good too !!!

Don’t let the strip mall location and plain façade fool you. Dough Boys turns out some seriously delicious hand-​tossed pizza! Prices are reasonable, the ingredients are top-​notch, and the service is fast and friendly.

Great crust. Pizza by the slice had really generous portions! Would go back. Cheap and yummy!

Pizza was quite good. Service was not as good considering it was not busy, had to wait for drink refills.

Wow! The food was excellent. The salad was fresh and even had freshly grated mozz cheese on top. I got the 2 slice combo with a drink for around $ 6, and I could only eat 1 slice. Great place to grab lunch. I’ll post pics.

Pizza was very good, large and thin, very NY style. My girlfriend said she would have liked a little more sauce but that was her only critique. I though it was perfect though, very cheesey. House salad, however, was very small for 6.50, only fed one person, and they use Marzetti packet dressing which isn’t the best. Fried pickles were great, kind of sweet which was good.

Some dang good New York style pizza. Delivery was on time and pizza was off the chain. I haven’t had pizza this good since… EVER! Order a cheese pizza and a «roni» you won’t be sorry. Great crust, great sauce, great toppings. The only thing that would have gotten them 5 stars was complimentary parm & peppers.

Now of you had visited this establishment three or four years ago I would tell you the pizza and Stromboli were par excellent but as with many restaurants and the higher prices of food they too had to accommodate to just break even. What happens is the food quality suffers because of the cut backs.
The last Stromboli I had was small, crust cardboard like, and my favorite thing about a dough Boys, the plethora of mozzarella cheese was cut in half. I was so saddened… A few months later I then ordered a delivery pizza, it was hot, but the crust soggy cardboard and burnt tasting and they actually used canned mushrooms for one of my toppings, they smelled like dirty feet… I have not been back…
I’m sorry DB”s, I miss you and the huge Stromboli’s! I understand prices have increased exponentially but, I would rather have a smaller Stromboli still packed with cheese and pepperoni than using inexpensive dough to keep them appearing huge but only half the ingredients.
As I said I become somewhat sad when I pass your store after leaving Walleyworld.

One night during our vacation we ordered pizza from here for dinner. We got three pizzas, one plain, one sausage, and one pepperoni, and two salads to split. Delivery didn’t take long, which was good because we were hungry and in a bit of a time crunch to get to a show later that night.
The pizzas looked and smelled amazing and, thankfully, they tasted just as amazing too. The dough was a medium thickness with just the right amount of chewiness. I only had pepperoni, but it was great. The pepperoni they use didn’t drown the pizza in grease, but did add that nice little greasy touch. The salads were good, I liked the super vinegary tang from the dressing, but others didn’t.
All in all, great pizza at a decent price.

I found this place when browsing through WMBF News’s Best of the Beach 2009. I am always eager to support a local business, and of course try to find the best pizza!
We placed a to go order and it was ready when we got there. The operator was friendly when we ordered. We did not feel rushed at all.
They are located a bit out of the way from the beach, at 544 and Highway 17 Bypass. In a shopping center across from Walmart. Go anyway.
We ordered a 16 inch Pepperoni Pizza and a 12 inch Cheese. The total for both was around $ 25.00. On their website, they have a Pizza price comparison calculator. It will compare their prices to other Pizza places. It was certainly better than a chain. Was it the best NY style pizza I have ever had? No. Would I go out of my way again to get this pizza? Oh yeah.
At first glacé, the pizza looks like what you would get from Papa John’s or Domino’s. It is not. The crust was crunchy and chewy. The pizza was not over sauced. The sauce was fresh and so was the cheese on the pizza.
Aside from pizza, they do Appetizers, Salads, Calzones, Subs, Stromboli, and they have a small selection of dessert.
