This is an older Olive Garden. With that being said it could use some work. It’s not so great looking up at the ceiling mid laugh and catching a glimpse of sagging popcorn ceiling tiles that are worn with dust and probably all types of moisture while you’re eating. Sorry to be a downer but some people are anal about that kind of stuff. Just thought I’d share. Anywho, we came here for Mother’s Day yesterday and enjoyed ourselves. Our server was Danielle. She was bright, bubbly and very accommodating! When we walked in we thought there’d be a long wait because of the holiday but were seated immediately. The food was prompt and nice and hot and very tasty. Overall a good time.

My daughter wanted to eat here so against my instincts we went in for lunch. Our server was good so that’s not the issue. We walked in and it’s weird that all the Olive Gardens have this smell to them. I can’t put my finger on the smell but it’s not desirable. The seats in the booth were lumpy so you have to pick either sitting up or low riding… with just a few inches movement. I remember 25 years ago going to Olive Garden was good stuff but now it’s not. The food is not really that good but my daughter talks me into it once every two years. The place had a lot of customers so I guess there is demand. Basically you know what you’re getting into with Olive Garden and this place is like the others I’ve eaten at.

Shane didn’t even bother to ask my daughter if she wanted to take her tasteless spaghetti she refused to eat b/c its nothing compared to what I prepare at home. I didn’t complain or return the food because I didn’t want to be the annoying black girl visiting from MD Over saturated salad with too much dressing. Only good thing about this meal was my beer. Plus I felt rushed b/c it was the end of his shift.

Olive Garden is a favorite of ours, however this trip left us scratching our heads. First off my cloth napkin smelled bad… bad, I had to ask the waitress for paper napkins. Then I ordered water with lemon and she offered me a bottle of water, she she brought it to the table… all 33oz in a glass bottle, I asked how much it was. I mean I wasn’t going to pay $ 10 for a bottle of water. Honestly, you would have thought I asked to see her bank statement with the look I got! After about 10 minutes she came back and said, by the way… The water is $ 3. She worked there, shouldn’t they know prices? The food was good, as always and we’ve been to this OG before and received great service and not had any issues, but I did want to leave a review about this visit!

I’m an Olive Garden aficionado. I love this place and normally get the same 5 – 6 things on the menu. This visit to this location was very very disappointing. The waitress had a huge table so it left our party of 5 out in the dust. We had a waiter who took our drink order but a different person took out food order. They were having computer problems which sent our waitress in a tail spin. At no point did a manager step out to fix the computer or come out to the tables and apologize. This is not a good way to keep customers. The food was good as usual. Lasagna Fritta, Chicken Carbonara, and Cheese Ravioli with Meat Lasagna to go. All of it was good but the service was sub-par at best. I’m not sure I’ll visit this location again and I come to Myrtle Beach at least twice a year. The food is the only reason I gave this 2 stars because to me service makes a huge bulk of the rating. Please inform management that they need to step in when issues arise!

Went for family dinner while on vacation. Our server was great and handled our large group well. He made great suggestions for both food and drinks and the service was fast!!! Love the new way of paying right on the tablets at your table makes it so much easier especially with little ones.

Was not the first choice of the evening. Wanted to try a local place since we are newly moved to Myrtle Beach. Arrived and we given the hockey puck of doom, gonna have to wait 30 – 45 minutes for a four top. Ok not great but we could hang. Got buzzed on our hockey puck of doom around 35 minutes 10 to the plus for us. Inside it is busy, servers and managers are pushing plates to get everyone fed, that was good to see. Our server was Shawn and he was quick and very friendly. The food was hot and tasted great. Even as busy as they were we never felt rushed and a member of the management team came over to check on us. Dinner at the Olive Garden was a nice treat. I hope to come back soon, and I hate to say that the local place that said they only took reservations Ciao, guess you didn’t need our money.

Another pleasant experience at Olive Garden. Service was quick and food arrived piping hot. Devoured the stuffed sausage rigatoni. Yummy!

Average by olive garden standards but we had a very inattentive waiter. And he forgot to bring the birthday cake we requested. Not the worst experience but really not a good one. Food was typical for an olive garden.

Olive Garden is always good food wise but the service here was absolutely amazing, party of 10 was seated within 15 minutes and the waiters were the quickest I’ve ever had at any restaurant

By far the worst Olive Garden. First off our waitress brought our first drink, never filled them, another nice man did. She took our order, again same man brought out our food, we got our salad and bread sticks, the man brought out our salad and tended to us she brought bread sticks. She didn’t even check on us at all while eating and then ANOTHER waiter checked on us because she wasn’t. She picked up the check and didn’t even Bring it. Then the food tasted okay, it’s wasn’t bad, but also wasn’t good. I ended up sick later on and then for the whole next day. Never returning

I haven’t been to Olive Garden or a restaurant like this in at least 5 years, having mostly frequented these types of establishments when I was a kid, it was a bit of nostalgia being here. I assume it looks like any other Olive Garden, that 80s living room kind of look. Service I have to say was excellent. Southern hospitality is unbeatable. We had soup and salad before our main dishes and we were full! Surprisingly decent tasting too. By the time our food came we were able to nibble on it a bit but brought most of it back to the hotel. If you know what you are getting into food wise here, you will be fine. I was happy with my experience.

Ate here on 3−8−15. Worst. Experience. Ever. Olive Garden claims to treat you like family… All I can say if my family treated me the way the greeter treated me I’d disown them. She acted like it was a chore to grab menus, silverware and show us to a table. Our waitress was ok. We did notice that the closer we got to the end of our meal the friendlier she became. The entrees were typical Olive Garden fare. One thing that caused this rating to only get one star was the soup. The Zuppa and the Gnocci were both served to us room temperature. Really?!? The Zuppa was more broth than anything else. The kicker was how I felt for the next 3 days. I was so nauseous I couldn’t eat anything but dry crackers and ginger ale. It had to be the soup as that was the only food my family had that was different that evening and for several days prior to eating here. This experienced ruined our much anticipated vacation. This experience has turned me off of Olive Garden which is a shame as we would eat at our local OG several times a month back home.

I was in the area looking for an Olive Garden and here it was! A brick building with an interesting look compared to all the other Olive Garden stores. As we walked in we seemed to have started the dinner crowd; at least 5 couples walked in within a few minutes we entered through the door. As we walked to the host stand, the lady behind the counter broke in a panic and flustered to organize everyone standing there. Without greeting anyone she began to call for names and party count! We didn’t wait much but wish we did considering we were sat in a section that seemed closed out. Our server came to our table and immediately asked what we’d like to drink. As we ordered, my wife and I agreed to share an app and entrée since portions are always very generous at OG; server quickly jumped and said there was a $ 3.99 charge for sharing salad! We decided to just have one of us eat the salad, no biggie. Our app came out with less than the normal amount of food, and to top it we only got 3 breadsticks the whole visit; never got offered more so I refrained from asking. We ordered a strawberry passion lemonade which is normally refreshing, but this one was dumped with flavored syrup; never got asked how was it, so I didn’t say anything. Manager came by our closed seated section… to check on us? No, but she came by to separate tables and make more room for other guests. HUGETURN-DOWN: «SMOKINGISALLOWEDBYTHEBAR» the entrance smelled gross. Overall the food was good, but the service just wasn’t there. I felt very uncomfortable eating there and wanted to get out.

This is by far the worst Olive Garden I have ever eaten at. It looks nice on the outside, but inside looks like it was last renovated in the 80’s. And the food was horrible! The salad was good, but the entrees were not Olive Garden quality at all. My boyfriend ordered the Taste of Italy and the Chicken Parmesan was inedible… We didn’t even stay to finish our meal. I was very disappointed, Olive Garden has always been my favorite, Myrtle Beach needs to step up their game!!!

For a chain restaurant in this area it was A lot better then I was expecting. Sever was great. Food was great. We dined on a Sunday night late. Best thing was after we ate we didn’t get the«oh that food is going to hurt my stomach» feeling we normal get after eating from most places. Only knock we might have given was it was darker outside then IMHO it needed to be to feel safe going back to the car.

Not a great Olive Garden, Service is good, but the food is average and the wait times can be unbearable. General Manager made it right for my party, but I don’t think I will go back there with a big group for dinner.

As Olive Gardens go, it’s about average. Nothing exceptional either way but typical of the chain. The location makes them very high traffic whenever tourist counts are up and that means there can be serious long waits at times. Waiting an hour for a seat in the summer is normal and especially at peak times. Coming here at 6:30 on a Friday night in summer and expecting fast service is foolish. It’s chain Italian food. It’s not bad but it’s also not going to taste like that meal you had in Rome or Naples. It’s not an old Italian grandmother cooking from scratch back there. But, it’s well made from quality ingredients and sufficient if not too large portions. If you want a little less crowded and a newer store, head 10 minutes down the road to the 501 location. This one is two blocks off the beach, of course it’s packed.
