The food is just INCREDIBLE!!! Best Italian I’ve ever had and being from Boston, that’s saying something. Went to Sole for Valentine’s Day, without reservations and everyone was more than accommodating! Definitely going back again and again!!!

Wow. Just wow. The food here is so delicious. Being from NJ this lived up to the reviews and expectations we had going in — awesome food. They don’t rush the service, it was paced perfectly. A little slow to some but a 2h dinner isn’t uncommon or long in my book. Excellent subs selection. Absolutely fantastic food, home made pasta, delicious specials and dessert. Would absolutely recommend this to EVERYONE!

Highly recommended! Don’t be dismayed at the outward appearance of the place when you see it for the first time. It not a big, fancy building with a lot of bling. The impressive part is the family owned service and the food inside. I had the Osso buco and the pear appetizer. You will not be disappointed.

Frontman Frankie may tell you tidbits about how the restaurant came to be, his family, yada, yada and then all the sudden you’re swappin’ photos with him. Yep, he’s that guy. Fiocchi rocks. Pillows of pear and cheese perfection in a cream sauce. It’s normally an appetizer, but you can order it as a main course. Frankie and the fam are also very accommodating for the kids. Just ask! We also ordered tiramisu and the lemon pie. Frankie’s mama gently placed the desserts in front of us and whispered, «I made them myself.» It is everything you’d expect homemade would be. Mama Mia! What’s not to love about this place? «When you’re here, you’re family». Unlike that other joint. Totes adorbs. Tip: For the best experience, make reservations and plan to stay for the better part of the evening. This is not a place to rush through.

Right. 5 stars with nearly 100 reviews. How can a restaurant have that many relatives? But, I was intrigued so I went to give it a try. To my amazement, I can honestly rate this restaurant 5 stars. I was hesitant to write this review, as the more people that find out about this hidden gem, the less likely we will get a table in the summer. I was alone this time — and the owner made me feel like part of his family. His story about his restaurant was interesting and charming. I had the calamari — it was lightly fried with not much breading — very tender and tasty. The salad was good too — no iceberg lettuce — nice. I ordered the veal parmesan. It had to be the most tender, tasty veal I ever had. That’s saying a lot since I’m 57 and veal is my favorite dish. Pasta was perfectly cooked. No dessert — comfortably full. Just a great dining experience!

Top notch food and service. True professional style dining and chefs quality food. We had an amazing dinner and the Limon cello cake is amazing. The sign and exterior can be a throw off so make sure you go inside and have some food before you decide if this is the best Italian food in Myrtle Beach, we did and we do belive it’s tops.

We were looking for another new restaurant to try and had been eyeing Sole for a little while. Finally, we took a Friday night to come here and we were blown away. It’s been a long time since we have been at a restaurant as amazing as Sole. The combination of impeccable service and food is astounding. Add in that they are a family owned and run business and its the trifecta. It’s on the expensive side, so don’t expect to have a cheap meal here, but it’s well worth the price. After out first time on Friday, we were back in four days with our parents to show them how amazing it was too. I have no doubt this will be a go-to for us when we want a great dinner.

Definitely a hidden little taste of heaven in myrtle beach! It’s small and family owned. If you’re craving great Italian food, this is the place to go to! Solé Italian Restaurant is amazing! The food was phenomenal, our waiter was great, overall first experience couldn’t have been better! They bring you bread, salad, and each a piece of bruschetta to try. The quality of the food is not anything you would find at a chain restaurant. They had an appetizer special which was not on the menu — It was this cute little pasta pocket with pear, prosciutto, a three cheese cream sauce, topped with peas, and I don’t even remember what else, but it was the most amazing, tastiest thing I have ever ate! We could have ordered a few more of those as our entrée and would have been in heaven! It was something the waiter recommended, and he was so confident about it, he told us if we didn’t like it, we didn’t have to pay for it! As far as entrée’s go, everything sounded so good. I wanted to order ten meals and just bring them home lol. It was difficult to choose being our first time in. I decided to go with the salmon. It was excellent! It came with angel hair pasta. You are allowed to change anything you please, so I ordered my salmon with fettuccine instead! Had a delicious olive oil/garlic sauce. Can’t wait to go back!!! I want to try everything on the menu! Was a bit pricey. $ 50 without tip, for two of us. 2 meals &1 appetizer. No dessert or drinks. We just had water. But every penny was worth it! They are a bit slow. Prepare for a long sit down meal. Don’t go if you’re in a rush. The waiter will walk by you 4 times without seeing if you’re finished and are ready for the check. Luckily we weren’t in a rush!

My friend and I don’t understand why anyone would give this restaurant a good review. I couldn’t believe how unbelievably rude the staff was. It left a very sour taste in my mouth. We definitely won’t be back.

Fantastic food(honestly top 3 meals I’ve had), great and very welcoming service, and not terribly expensive. Do yourself a favor and ask for the pear appetizer even though it’s not visibly on the menu, just ask, it’s game changing

I travel a lot so I am able to try a lot of restaurants across the country. Sole is BYFAR my favorite — even over all of the high end Italian places in Vegas… I will be coming back here every year! Get the pear appetizer — you won’t regret it!

Ate here three of four nights in Myrtle Beach. Should have come here all four nights. Had there specials(simply out-of-this-world osso bucco, red snapper, and pork medallions) and none of which was listed on menu. Kitchen was essentially opened to us(to order anything) if we cared to. Their fiocchi(pear and 3 cheeses) also not on menu we had EACH night as an appetizer. Had never has anything that tasty before. If EVER back in Myrtle Beach, this is the place I will go. See you there. You won’t regret.

Not going to find better service than at this place. Enthusiasm, intricate knowledge of the menu, and attentiveness kept us enthralled m. The food was superb. Each dish had a depth of layered flavors that were just right. If you can only go to one place in town, then check it this high class family run Italian place. Possibly the most authentic Italian I’ve ever had. Take their suggestions on what to eat and you will not be disappointed. P. S. Much better than Sea Captains.

The only good place to eat in the area. Homely, wholesome food, customized food for us. Me and my husband really enjoyed our food! The family owning the establishment was extremely welcoming and had a generous attitude — I love cooking and they explained to me how to make their sauces, risotto, and just talked about themselves. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here and wish we came earlier! The only place asides from sole iv enjoyed Italian food has been il pizzico — Rockville MD and that’s saying a lot ! I changed the linguine seafood dish to Parmesan risotto and the flavour was not compromised … Husband had a steak which had a great sauce if not the best cooked steak(we are just used to organic meat and better meat!) but that didn’t take anything away from the meal because the flavours were spot on. Can’t wait to go again !

Delicious! My family and I always struggle to find restaurants to eat out — we have to satisfy meat lovers, vegetarians, and a soy allergy. Well, we found something everyone could enjoy at Sole! We shared the Fiocchi appetizer, which was phenomenal. Don’t let pear in the description fool you, the flavors blend beautifully. They also brought us complimentary bruscetta. We all thoroughly enjoyer our entrees as well — eggplant parm, cappellini primavera, crab stuffed shrimp, and spaghetti with meatballs. We finished the meal off with italian cheesecake and tiramisu. The entrees were certainly the star of the meal, but the desserts held their own. Overall, we were pleased to find a small family run restaurant in Myrtle Beach, and we will definitely be back!

This place is a diamond in the rough! Truly authentic, Italian food. My first visit here and I’ll definitely be back again. Atmosphere was very elegant with table cloths, candles and neatly folded napkins. A complementary bruschetta was served to myself and my partner. Soft jazz followed by Classic Italian music was very nice and relaxing. Not so sure if I would bring naughty children here as it is a little on the small side. Fiocchi appetizer was absolutely amazing. Al dentè pasta filled with pear and three different cheeses covered in a white cream sauce with peas. Such a smooth, hot dish with layers of flavor! Both of our entrées came with a side salad, that had a nice balsamic reduction dressing. For my entrée, I ordered Lasagna. Best Lasagna I have ever experienced. The tomato sauce was very vibrant(not spicy… Seasoned perfectly with fresh herbs) and complemented the pasta and cheese quite well. At first I was curious as to why it didn’t cover more of the plate. It’s big in height volume. This lasagna dish was carefully crafted to perfection. Since the quality of the food is so good, you will experience a slightly longer wait from a traditional or chain restaurant because of the care and passion put into the dishes served here. All in all, you will not be disappointed and don’t let the exterior fool you.

I’m so glad I found this place. The food is really good. Everything is very fresh tasting. This restaurant is a family owned business and you can tell they are very passionate about what they do. We were greeted by the owner and he went over the specials of the day. I’m so glad we tried the appetizer that was pasta stuffed with pear and three cheeses in a cream sauce with peas– it was so delicious! My entrée– crab stuffed flounder over risotto, was cooked perfectly, and the crab was awesome– it was a ton of crab meat and no bread filler like most places! I plan on coming back here the next time I’m in myrtle beach!
