I would give it lower if I could. We went in and it took 20 minutes for someone to take our order. We then waited an hour and watched people just get up and leave as the server loudly complained about them to other tables. We finally asked how much more time it would be— answer – /​40 more minutes. We gave up.

Don’t be thrown off by the location. This was a great find. Fresh seafood and everything we had was excellent and very reasonable. Beware. Hush puppies are addictive. Thanks Unilocal for the great dinner

Yummy fresh seafood for the price. It was the best meal we had in our Myrtle beach vacation. We had lemon shrimp, fresh salmon. fresh grouper and fried cheesecake for dessert (wanted to try their fried ice cream, they dint have it then). everything was awesome! This little hole in the wall place is really worth a try .If you are looking for a fancy place, this is so not it, they serve food in Styrofoam plates but if tasty food is what you want. trust the reviews.

We ate here after reading many Unilocal reviews. We were looking for fresh seafood where we weren’t going to pay an arm and a leg. This place is not the place you go for ambiance. But if you are looking for amazingly fresh seafood and excellent service at a great price, this is the place for you.

Unassuming storefront. A little hard to find a parking place during a music festival. Plastic utensils and paper plates. Probably the best meal we’ve had during our week in Myrtle Beach.

Hush puppies to die for and fresh, blackened grouper for a great price during lunch hours, and great homemade cole slaw.
Do yourself a favor — skip the bright lights on the main drag and drive a few blocks over for this gem.
My only regret is I wish we had come here earlier in our week!

Our favorite seafood in Myrtle Beach; we eat here every time now that we have discovered it.
We have had the fried oysters in the past. Delicate lightly fried, very tasty.
This time we had the lemon shrimp and the grouper. yum.
Friendly service. Sweet ice tea is just right, very good.
It is also a local favorite. The outside does not look like much; it is well worth our drive from North Myrtle down to this great place.

This place was excellent my wife had the fish and chips. Ok there was enough for 3 people. (See pics) There was one thing weird though it came with potato chips instead of fries but you can order fries, the fish was absolutely delicious. And you can ask for there homemade hot sauce. I had the grilled shrimp and scallops (outstanding) perfectly prepared. This came with gumbo and 2 types of green beans. This place is walking distance from the sky wheel too.

The food was fresh and AMAZING! Get the Crab Nuggets! You won’t regret it!!! I got their fried shrimp and it was well worth it. The price was cheaper than many other restaurants I went to and the food was better. I can’t wait to get back to Myrtle

This was hubby and I first visit! The waiter was very hospitable and the food was hot, fresh, and amazing! We had 1lbs of crab legs, fried cod/​shrimp and hubby had fried grouper! We were especially impressed with the cleanliness of the grill and cooks! Definitely looking forward to a return visit!

Only one person at a table needs to order the fish and chips tho. You’ve been warned!

A little hole in the wall seafood restaurant. As a non local I relied on Unilocal reviews to judge this place. The outside looks a little sketchy but inside it is nice. Nothing fancy, just casual. The food was top notch for a cheap seafood restaurant. I got the grilled shrimp in spicy mango sauce with gumbo and green beans. My husband got fried clam strips, hushpuppies, and fries. All together for lunch it was $ 17. I loved the food and so did he. I highly recommend popping by here for lunch or dinner. They have specials!

The service was great! Casual atmosphere. We loved the Asian Style Seafood Fried Rice & enjoyed the Toasted Sesame Ginger sauce. Doesn’t look like much from the street front, but I highly recommend. I will be back!

The sushi is some of the best I have ever had! And the hush puppies are my favorite at myrtle beach. They also offer seafood, which is delicious. My favorite are the specialty sushi rolls! Amazing!

I had the fried seafood platter… the oysters were light and delicious, shrimp awesome. My wife had the grilled sea bass, and it was melt in your mouth fare. Service excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The blackened grouper was very good, as was the crab Rangoon. However the gumbo was absolutely gross and basically not edible. The fried oysters were not cleaned enough and had sand in them. The hush puppies were good and the wait staff was friendly. We would probably not go back though.

Clean, cozy and friendly place. feel like eating at home. the prices are awesome. Their attitude was so good that we get back the day after.

I just did not like the fries, they were not crunchy and fresh, they were so soft.

Man o man, this is the jewel of Myrtle Beach! Wish we would have found it early in our vacation. By far the Best seafood, it kicks all the others butts with quality vs price. I shouldn’t give it such great reviews because it may be a mile long wait next trip out!

Worth a second visit, but only for lunch. The dinner menu has large portions, less options and of course more expensive. Friendly staff and food taste very good.

This is another one of my go-​to spots for lunch in Myrtle Beach. It doesn’t look like much on the outside, or the inside for that matter. But this little hole in the wall has a great lunch menu that’s very affordable. Yes it’s on styrofoam plates and comes with plastic, but if it holds down price I don’t really care. The family that runs it are very nice every time I have been in there.
I like their lunch special where you can chose a fish, choose a sauce and choose how you want it cooked. Plates come with 2 sides from items like green beans, fries, hush puppies and my favorite gumbo. I just get double gumbo over rice because I like it that much. Big chunks of tomato, okra in rich broth with good spice to it. The hush puppies are pretty good too. Fries are standard frozen type but they’re good too.
Last time i had the tuna grilled rare with spicy sauce and teriyaki sauce. The very thick filet came out with a good sear on the outside but nice and cool on the inside. It tasted very fresh and their spicy sauce really brings the heat. I have had several different fish this way and it’s always been done very well.
