The food is excellent they take great care in detail. The vegetables are fresh and the portions are enough for two people. Our server was excellent. The filet mignon was like butter. Golden winter shrimp is a must try. This was our first visit here and I am glad to be a local so we will be back.

Second time here this week, great sushi yet again! Lost a star for service tho. There was only one other table other than us and we barely saw our waitress at all. Finally I asked for some boxes which she promptly brought only to disappear again for 10 minutes before we got up to track her down and ask for the check. Kind of thought the fact that I wanted my check was implied with my desire for boxes. Happened last time too and the table beside us today did the same thing :-/great food tho hope they pick up the pace on service

I love this place!!! The food is insanely good and consistent, The Red Curry is the best I have had anywhere. I wish I could find something bad to say because this probably sounds like an ad but it really is that good. The bartender/waiter was on top of everything and was very knowledgeable of the menu and various spices. The sweet and sour soup is wonderful and has a great bite. The atmosphere is relaxed and laid back and the outdoor seating is wonderful as well. I would definitely recommend this spot to friends.

The food was just ok. I had the Tom kha soup to start and while it wasn’t the worst I’ve had, it was in the bottom 1⁄3. The pad Thai was also about the same. The real letdown was the service. I came in when they opened for lunch so i was one of only 4 tables and yet I was ignored most of the time. No talk about how spicy… No hot sauce or anything offered. I finally tracked down another employee who brought me some heat which made it a little better. I sat with an empty glass for a long time and eventually decided I would rather take my money elsewhere for a second drink anyway

I was looking for something different to try while I was at the beach. I was pleasantly surprised with the food here! Was a good atmosphere and the staff was great. I had a Thai salad with salmon, the salmon was perfectly cooked and the salad greens were fresh. I did not try any sushi which I am a fan of, but heard another customer praising the quality of it. Definitely give this place a try.

Tammi and I hosted Cass and Emma while in Myrtle Beach. We decided to try Indo, which was near the Lowe’s grocery store, close to the condo we were staying in. Our waitress, Chrissy, was very friendly and helpful — and patient with the fact we had a 16 month-old with us. The food was very good — I thought my duck was overcooked a bit — but otherwise perfect. While the prices were a little on the high side, it is located in a beach resort. We recommend Indo if you are looking for sushi or Thai cuisine.

Spicy tuna salad was super! Limited children’s options and English language is a challenge for some of the staff. The food is wonderful. Tuna was fresh, lite and unbelievably tasty. Check this place out.

I’ve only ever had the sushi. The best I’ve had in Myrtle Beach. I live in Surfside and do not mind diving all the way to 82nd to get my sushi fix.

Always consistent. The Godfather roll is unparalleled. It is probably one of my favorite dishes ANYWHERE. On my last visit service was a little slower than usually, but I think it’s because they had several large tables and weren’t prepared for it. My only complaint, which is minor, is that there are some aesthetic maintenance issues in the restaurant itself, which has nothing to do with the food but affects the overall experience. I should have probably spoken to the manager about it, but it’s still recently post-season and they will probably fix the issues now that things are slowing down a bit. Will remain a go-to establishment for me and my friends.

Amazing meal. Dancing shrimp roll and red vegetable curry was fantastic. The service was a little delayed but the staff was friendly and the food made up for it.

I rarely review restaurants on Unilocal, but I was very impressed by the food, service, and venue of Indo. Our waitress was funny and interacted with us. The sushi is amazing! I’ve live in Chicago and have plenty of great sushi restaurants near my house, but this tops them all!

My family of 6 wanted some good Japanese food for dinner while on vacation. As soon as we walked in we were never greeted friendly by the waitress. I would think 101 in running a restaurant is excellent customer service. I would also think that the waitress should hold a little conversation of small talk. Ex: Where are you from? What plans do you have tonight? The food was very average to below average. I had to send my soup back because it tasted like dirty sea water with extra salt. The entrees were also average. I always think the managers of any business should watch their social media reviews and make corrections to constantly improve. We are in search of a good meal tonight in Myrtle. Any suggestions?

My wife and I were excited about returning to Indo Thai. We had not been there in about four years. Much has changed in regard to the overall experience. The calamari was way overcooked, and it was sparsely served on top of french fries! The sushi was awful. It was horribly prepared, and it did not taste entirely fresh. On a positive note, both of our curry dishes, red and yellow, we’re quite good. Based on this experience, I will be surprised if they are still open in four years.

We wanted to grab a quick dinner while visiting family in the hospital across the way. We found their menu online and called in a take out order, which we ate in the hospital cafeteria. The menu was a mixture of sushi, Japanese, Indonesian and Thai foods and was at a decent price. I was impressed with the interior when I went in to pick up my order. It’s a bit dark and intimate, with a good-sized bar and some tables. The sushi chefs greeted me and directed me to the bar where my order was waiting. The bartender quickly rang me up and gave me our dinner. I had ordered the Pad See Eiew with beef($ 12.95) and was impressed. The dish was a healthy serving of fat noodles in a tasty sauce with thin beef strips, broccoli, bean sprouts and green onion. It was a pretty tastetacular combination, and the medium spice was just right… not spicy enough to be inedible, but just the right touch to bring a slight tear to my eye. I have to say, it was some of the best Thai I’ve had since leaving New York, and I’m surprised it came from Myrtle Beach. The missus went with her Thai staple, Pad Thai with shrimp($ 13.95.) It was a good Pad Thai with all the stuff you would expect to see. She enjoyed the heat on her mild spice and the shrimp were cooked well. If the food was this good as take out, I would love to have the food fresher by dining in. The quality and quantity of food was awesome, and I would be all for going back to see how the drinks and service are. Plus they have a Sizzling Duck on the Indonesian menu that is simply calling my name! We will be going back here in the future for sure.
