We went on a Sunday Morning. There is a large piece of chalk art that changes from time to time, and it is handy to see the jerks who feel they have to touch it.
Located in a strip mall, but looks fairly decent inside without being fancy. Good to great quality diner type food, served in large portions, by a friendly and fast staff.
It is a trifle loud, more so when people’s children start screaming, likely because of the ceiling and walls not being coated. Of course Sunday morning there was a fair amount of crying and screaming.

We stopped here for breakfast. I had an omelet, hubby had Mr B’s breakfast, and my daughter had the waffle. Excellent food and the gluten free pancakes were yummy (side item with the huge omelet). Friendly wait staff and quick service too. The portions are large and the prices extremely reasonable. Next time we are in the area would stop for breakfast again!

I want a Mr. B’s in Chicago. Every time I’ve been there the food has been great and the service has been good. And the price!!! Amazing how inexpensive this place is. I can’t get out of a diner in Chicago for less than $ 30 for 2 people. This weekend I had breakfast there with three people for under $ 30. They also make blueberry pancakes right: fresh blueberries in the pancake. Places around me put blueberry compote on top of plain pancakes and that ain’t right.

Waited a long time to be seated, when we were finally seated, the waitress took our order and we waited about 20 minutes. The waitress then took our food and served it at the next booth over. After it had all been placed in front of other people who touched the plates, she picked them up and placed them down in front of us! I told her, you know as well as me that this needs to be remade. She took the food to the kitchen, and it came out surprisingly fast… I asked

Mr. B’s is a must stop for great food and hot fresh coffee. Friendly owners and staff coupled with a clean and pleasant dining experience make returning for another meal a no-brainer decision. Kudos to Mr. B’s.

My coffee was full of grounds and they were unwilling to substitute a side dish to accommodate special diets, forcing me to pay for food I was not able to eat. The staff is mediocre at best, and the restaurant itself is filled with religious signage including prayers on the paper placemats. I really wanted to like this place and I was highly disappointed.

Go to Mr. B’s! We went here after a 4 day camping music festival extravaganza and let me tell you it was just what we needed. Fast service, easy to split the bill, nice atmosphere, the food was GREAT! I had veggie egg scramble, but everyone else had the Big Tasty (a breakfast sampler plate… YUM!)
Sara our waitress was friendly, funny and attentive, we could not have asked for better service.
Also when a regular came in she greeted him by name, showed him to a table and got him his coffee without him having to ask, that’s totally the type of place this is. Worth a visit. I know I will be going back when I am in the area. Was surprised there are no other reviews about this place…
