Today, I walked into Stater Bros with my registered service dog(Chihuahua) as I am a disabled vet. One of the cashiers told me I could not have my dog in the part of the cart where kids sit. I explained to her that it was a service dog and as long as people are able to sit there, then, a service dog is permitted to sit there according to ADA law. I asked her to call the ass manager so I may speak with him about it. The Ass Mgr came over and before knowing anything. he approached me and said oh no the dog cannot be in the cart due to health regulations(store policy. he never showed me the policy from the health dept.) He said I would have to hold the dog or walk it on the leash. I explained to him that I am a disabled veteran and this is a trained and registered service dog. I had my dogs papers in my hand and a card from the ADA outlining all the rules and regulations. He refused to look at them. I asked him. is this a place in the cart where people sit and he answered yes… I told him then a service animal can sit there too. He said NO. I explained to him that I am disabled and it would be a burden on me to try to roll the cart AND carry the dog. I also explained due to my disability I had to have the dog near me. I also explained being on the leash and walking the dog was not feasible either because she has to be close to me and she is so small she would get run over by a cart. This man would not listen to my explanations. I said fine. I will call corporate office and file a formal complaint with the ADA. By the way. my dog was NOT out of control or posing a threat to others. She was just quietly sitting in the seated part of the cart… doing her job. The ADA is cracking down on establishments and organizations that do NOT follow the rules of the ADA. The ADA is a division under the Dept of Justice and what the Ass Mgr did was violate my civil rights. He said my dog could stay in the store but he made it impossible for me to be able to shop. being disabled I could NOT shop the way he wanted me to shop. There are heavy fines placed on corporations that deny disabled persons their civil rights. So, I just called corporate and they are having the DM give me a call in the morning to find out my side of the story. A formal complaint will be made with the ADA and I hope Stater Bros managers will be able to understand the law as it is written by the American Disabilities Act. The ADA is an agency of the US Dept of Justice Civil Rights Division. Also let it be noted… a certain restaurant denied accommodations to a disabled vet and his service animal. They were turned away. There was a huge right up in the paper about it… all the agencies got involved. the restaurant was fined. and the disabled vet and his service animal was more than welcome to enter the restaurant and given proper accomadations. and the restaurant chain franchise owner formally apologized to the disabled vet. his service animal and to his family that accompanied him. All I want is justice and for my civil rights not to be denied. Stater Bros and the Ass Mgr will be answering to a higher authority. So if you are disabled and have a small service animal with you. they will give you a major hassle… until these mgrs. get educated… and that is part of my job. to help educate them.

Great store, and the prices are better than most. The parking lot is a bit hectic, but the overall shopping value is high. I want to thank Brandon, a manager, who went above and beyond in customer service. I got a dozen roses on Mother’s Day, and when I got home, most of the leafs fell off. Did not give a good presentation. I called Monday to complain about the issue. I spoke to Brandon, he said to come in for replacement or a refund, no problem. When I arrived, I showed him photos of how the roses looked. He went to the flower area and found a setting in a vase, with baby breath flowers, then added additional roses to make a beautiful arrangement. I offered to pay the extra got the vase, but he said no. We had a really nice flowers for mom. Great customer service, great manager . Thanks Brandon.

I ordered a birthday cake for my husbands 70th birthday party. I requested a full sheet size, white with banana/Bavarian cream filling and a whipped cream topping. I also asked if they could do a bowling theme. I went to pick up the cake and the gal was putting the finishing touches on it so I know I got a fresh cake. The cake was absolutely amazing. She did a great job of creating a bowling lane and put the word strike on it. Very nice! Everyone raved about how good it was! In my opinion it was one of the best cakes I have ever had! Thank you so much! Wish I would have gotten the gals name for reference. Highly recommend Stater Bros. for cakes!

I love this store for the convenient location, good selection, cleanliness, AND most importantly friendly staff. I had a great experience at checkout with a young lady who offered to help unload my basket and put it away for me, and wished me a Happy Easter. I then bought a bottle of wine, among other groceries, and proceeded to leave the bottle at the counter. When I went back, the checkout was very busy before the holiday, but she still took a moment to help me. The bottle had disappeared, but she talked to the manager for me and gave me a new bottle at no charge. Even though I was a dumb customer, they were still very sweet to me and clearly work very hard. Thanks Stater Bros!

Thank you to Tiara in the bakery and all the staff at this location everybody here goes above and beyond to be helpful and friendly. I have worked in customer service all my life so I definitely recognize and appreciate it when its provided. Tiara made a custom hello kitty ice cream cake for me on the fly and really saved the day because they were sold out at all local locations. It was for a birthday and was very important to me even though it was busy she and her staff took the time to help me out and kept a smile the whole time. Thanks again

If you want to shop at a clean and friendly place, the Stater Bros in Murrieta on Hancock and Los Alamos is an awesome choice! My cousin and her husband raved about their Menifee location so it was the first stop I made when my family recently relocated to Murrieta. I like to give new grocery stores a «smell approval.» If I can smell fish or meats when I enter the front door, I tend to stay clear. Stater Bros has an immaculate environment. I could even enjoy the fresh pine fragrance of the Christmas trees standing right at the entranceway.(If you see someone smelling the flora, it’s probably me.) It has a «Farmers Market-like» atmosphere where everyone seems proud of their work and always happy to assist(I mean EVERYONE from upper management to baggers!) All have engaged with me at one time or another during my several trips to see if my shopping experience has been not just satisfactory, but also enjoyable. They know the diverse Murrieta community and offer a wide item selection(I even found vegan Just Mayo!)! In short, they treat you like a small-town neighbor. EVERY cashier has been friendly and conducts a conversation as if we have known each other for years. I have to admit, it was my first introduction to the Murrieta community and it is one of the reasons why we love it so. As a devout natural and organic eater, I find their healthy selections vast and affordable! They make it easy to stay on track and even carry grass-fed ground beef and organic fish in the meat section. I would love to be able to buy Coke –Life, a new natural formula that uses stevia, but I realize it is relatively new and I’m sure they will soon begin to stock it. UPDATE: THEYHAVECOKELIFEINTHESPECIALTYSODAAREA! I hope this is helpful!

The employee named DELMY was extremely rude to my younger brother who was politely asking where he could find the olive oil. Before he could even finish saying excuse me, I watched her as she said I’m busy I can’t help you right now, you need to ask someone else. Really? A simple«I’m sorry I’ll be right with you» would’ve sufficed. Very rude. On the other hand there was a checkout girl by the name of Aggy was very helpful.

I shop at this Stater Bros Market all the time and have to say that the bakery there makes the best pumpkin pie ever(for store bought). The filling has a sweet and great taste and the crust is moist and just as tasty. If you are looking for a great pie for Thanksgiving(or anytime) and like pumpkin pie, give this one a try; I don’t think you will be disappointed!

I had the nicest cashier today. I don’t know his name but give that guy a raise! I bought quite a few items today and my bill was only $ 17. Happy!

This has long been my go-to supermarket. Friendly people, clean store, great service, but so sad that they appear to be understaffed. There are often times when no one is working the floral department and others as well. Makes shopping less efficient and must be hard on your existing workers.

Stopped in here to get a baloon bouquet and a birthday gift, asked an employee standing in an aisle on her phone if she could tell me where to find the birthday cards at and she pointed to her left and didn’t say a word, she stayed looking at her phone, if you ask me that’s really rude. I ended up going with a more simple birthday idea and got some candy and baloons, the lines were short and there were plenty of lines open. the checkers liked to gossip alot, I feel if your going to gossip about a fellow Co worker do it out of the public ear…

Okay so I worked at Staters for twelve years, and having said that, I know two things. One, it can get very busy and stressful and two,(this is the«but») the class level of the employees has dropped. This staters is very nice, clean, and although the employees were friendly, I don’t think that cussing is okay in the workplace. At least not when customers can hear. When my cashier(Karen) found out that I needed cash that she did not have, «oh sh*t» came out of her mouth. What’s weird is that she was still nice, which makes me think that she just talks like that all of the time …

This review is based solely on the butchers in the meat department. Apparently trimmimg the fat and membrane off the flap meat is an impossible task at this particular location. I’ve given them several opportunities each time figuring maybe the butchers had an off day. But nope, properly prepared flap meat is not an option here. So I find myself driving to the location off Clinton Keith or stopping off Cajalco if im passing through Corona(they get it right every time).

I have been regularly going to the stater brothers since moving to the area three years ago. Every time I return I can’t help but think how wonderful everyone who is part of this business is. It’s not corny it’s the truth. The food is good, they have great prices, and everyone from the cashiers to the baggers is wonderful and helpful. Also, I’ll admit it I like the music they play on the radio which might mean that I’m getting old, but when I’m shopping in the evening I can dance in the aisles and I’ve found that some of the employees will sing along with me!

Stater Brothers is the best. This particular location is awesome. The guys in the meat dept are great and always friendly. The girls in the deli dept are super friendly and are quick to serve. I mean seriously, everyone from the checkers to the baggers are great. My only complaint is that their international isle needs an update. More Indian selection would be great. Right now I am forced to go to Albertsons and that makes me sad.

After moving here from LA I had no idea where to go for my son’s birthday cake! Stater bros bakery did an amazing job! Not only are the cakes delicious but they do such a good job at decorating them !!! I showed them a picture of what I wanted and it was perfect!!! Other places were charging me $ 150+ but they charged me $ 27 and some change!!! Definitely going back for other occasions

After going to the meat department and getting 3 different specialty items I felt compelled to rate! First off I love how they have like 6 employees helping in the back, there was a huge line that went super fast. Yay! Second, the guy that helped me never once seemed annoyed or frustrated at all the questions I was asking or for the way I needed my meats cut and tenderized. When he was in the back one of the managers came up to me to ask what I needed my meat for and then gave me advice on some of the other meats and the flavors the would add. I love this! Most places I go to have one butcher and I have to ring a bell to get their attention and they never seem happy once I ask for something custom. The prices here are great too. I’ve compared with costco and other places in the area and Stater Bros seems to have the best meat prices around.

Pretty awful honestly. I now drive the extra few miles to go to any other store. The cashiers are the most misrable, grumpy, rude, and just plain don’t care. You can always expect to wait in line for ever and watch employees stand arround and chat. Instead of helping. Or opening new lane. Bad bad bad… it’s been like this for years now too. Get it together
