My company ordered the platters today, we originally called and placed an order but they didn’t accept credit cards over the phone, this should change because we were lucky our corporate employee was in the area, otherwise there is no way I can get the company credit card from Beverly Hills. Our order was supposed to take an hour since we ordered the party platters but they were actually ready in less than 30 mins which was great! All the food was great! I would have given them 5 stars if they took credit card payments over the phone like most restaurants.

After my bf and I have given this spot another shot, our favorite thing has just become the sashimi salad. He got two rolls, ate one bite of each, and told the waitress we had an emergency and needed the check lmao service was great, but the fish is terrible. Save your $ and cruise to love boat or gin sushi, both off Ynez, both decent pricing!

This place used to be good years ago, but since then it has been pretty bad the last few times i gave it another chance. The fish never taste or smells fresh. The rolls are made up of hard rice(90% of the roll) with chewy dried out fish on top, even the presentation looked gross. Do yourself a favor and get your sushi somewhere else

Man the sushi here is awful! Ordered ayce, got two rolls that were loaded with rice and some dried up shriveled little pieces of fish on top(at least try and make the presentation not look gross). The rolls were so chewy they almost made me gag(no homo), I ate one of each and asked for the check. The best part of the meal was the sashimi salad and getting a burrito on the way home.

Seriously if not thee best AYCE Sushi restaurant in the area, then it’s a close #2. It’s about 75 max occupancy restaurant with booths and tables, or you can go with the traditional sushi bar seat for direct interaction! The waiters/waitresses are always extremely nice and attentive; it does get crazier on busy days, but you never go more than 5 mins, without them checking in on you. Now granted, I have never gone with a party larger than 5 or so people, any more can obviously become dicey unless you all can cooperate and order on one AYCE sheet(hey, what a concept, cooperation ;P) Just don’t order too much, or you will get full way fast and quite possibly regret such a beautiful experience :) They offer traditional style Japanese and or Sushi, with All You can eat as an option! $ 19 for Lunch, $ 24 for dinner(AYCE), with of course plenty of options for Sake and Beer. Also, their Wassabi is always fresh and super potent, they def. make their stuff in house. Today for some reason, of course being Valentines day, they had Thee best, most fresh sashimi I have ever tasted! The Albacore, which is usually a bit on the chewier side(not too chewy, but def. not melt in your mouth) was melt in your mouth today! The fish they brought out was seriously above standards, never had it so good, and this has ben our go to spot for the last couple years! 4 star review, simply put because as stated above, the quality of the Fish has never been more superb up to today, they killed it with their valentines day service! The Salmon as well, the Yellowtail, Baked Eel with ponzu sauce, 10 stars!!! Such a happy customer, cannot wait till next time, thanks ONE! Shh this place is a secret gem: D

I’ve been coming here off and on for years, always left satisfied until my last visit. After a long day of work and everything else I was in search of decent sushi and a place to relax. I sat at the sushi bar with my co-party and the server took our drink order. He placed it on the table and never returned to check on us. I had to flag him down to get water and a small plate. He made it seem like he was doing me a favor. Really? I’m the paying customer. When the bill came he slammed it on the table and moved on. I promptly stood up and yelled at the sushi chef/owner«This is the worst server I’ve ever had, and I go to alot of restaurants.» He motioned for the manager to come over. I explained the situation, that I had a long day and all I wanted was to have a relaxing dinner, unwind and stay awhile. However, the server was in a hurry to rush everyone at the sushi bar out as fast as possible. I know this because the counter was full when we arrived and completely empty when I talked to the manager. I’ve been to Japan and know what real authentic counter service should be. Literally having people replace my drink the second I finished. A bad server can cost a restaurant money and reputation. After this off putting experience, I can assure you that I will never give another penny to this establishment.

This place has really great sushi, large selection, always fresh, amazing happy hour 50% off from 2 – 4 monday thru thursday. Service has always been fine, I like the atmosphere. My one gripe is that for some reason they make their spicy mayo with CHIPOTLE… like what? I always get a side of spicy mayo and eel sauce whenever I have sushi but the way they make their spicy mayo honestly ruins the flavors of the rolls… WHY??? Chipotle flavor is very distinct and does not belong on sushi rolls. Stop making the spicy mayo with chipotle and I would give this place 5 stars

OKLISTEN, THESUSHIISGREAT, SERVICEISGREAT, PRICEISGREAT, COOLATMOSPHERE. I really enjoyed coming here almost every Friday or Saturday with my girl, it was our weekend sushi spot. We would drive from temecula just to eat here. UNTILONEDAY It was like any other Friday We sat down ordered our food as usual But this time I noticed the hobbit waiter with the beard, a little on the heavier side, staring at me and my girlfriend sideways. I didn’t think anything of it. So we continued are meal until I was abruptly tapped on the shoulder by said waiter. He leaned next to me and put his hand on my back, and told me that the last time we were there that we walked out on the bill. And that the manager has been notified and they have camera footage of it. I WASVERYHEATEDWHENHESAIDTHISCONSIDERING I HAVENEVERWALKEDOUTON A BILLESPECIALLYATMYFAVORITESUSHISPOT SO I told him there must be a mistake I definitely did not walk out on any bill. I pay cash every time and leave tip as well and then walk out I spend my hard earned money on this place and this is how they treat me. Anyways I asked to see the camera footage and he refused to show me. Either that waiter stole my money and said that I walked out or someone else took the money But if it was on camera they would see someone taking it. I don’t know what kind of funny style business they have going on here but I felt very upset for being accused of something like that. I have not returned since They lost two valued customers. Anyways ENJOYYOURSUSHI

One is seriously my FAVORITE sushi place in all of inland empire-land Coming from San Diego I was scared and maybe even a little stuck up to the sushi selection in my area. AND the height of prices. Seriously, 50% off happy hour,(ahem all the time), or can I get an AYCE anyone? One not only gives me both those options, but they give me AWESOME sushi chefs, FRESH yummy sushi, great atmosphere, and a good location close to my house! This is definitely the BF and my, go to for Sushi any time we want it. You cannot go wrong with their Pepper Albacore in any form, or Albacore in general(so fresh!) seared tuna is delish! We love the three amigo roll, and I am not a fan the fried stuff usually, but the little shrimp boats are delish. The chefs here are also great about remembering not to put eel sauce on anything for me(I’m allergic to something in it! Yes, random I know!)

If I could give it zero stars I would. Worst. Sushi. Ever. Rice was mushy and fell apart. Sushi all tasted the same and was very watery. Calamari rubbery. Edamame salty. Only saving grace was the hostess was a sweetheart.

I visit One sushi frequently. Love there Half Price Sushi Menu Selection. The Mango Salmon Roll is the absolute best. If you like Baked Rolls you must try the Pizza Roll. Service at one sushi is always great. Happy hour on Friday and Saturday is 10pm-12:00am. Made the mistake coming a little after 10:00pm and had over an hour wait one time. But usually if you come 15 minutes before or so you can put your name on waiting list. Goes by pretty quick. Highly recommend one Sushi!!!

I was in the area for business and I had about an hour to kill so I figure I would just catch an early dinner. I went to my trusty Unilocal app and found One Japanese Sushi & Grill. At a solid 4 star with 489 reviews I thought that it was a reliable rating. The workers here are less than professional and a bit chatty among themselves. There weren’t too many customers to help out when I went, but they were more preoccupied with gossip than assisting the guest. I ended up getting the Salmon Skin Handroll($ 4.45), Philly Handroll($ 5.95) and the Eel Handroll($ 5.59). The rice for all three of the handrolls tasted like old rice gone bad. Also the main ingredient may look like it is sticking out of the handrolls in the picture but it did not fill all the way down. The salmon skin was not crispy. The salmon in the Philly was not fresh. The eel was probably the least bad among the three. I really don’t know how this place has such a good rating! The food was horrible! I really need to go back to my sushi spot, Shunka, in OC to clean off my palette with some fish freshly imported from Japan!
Went there around 3 pm and 5 of us ordered 50off salmon rolls to start. All of us ordered the lunch combinations of 2 selections for $ 9.95. It was such a great great deal comparing with the quality and quantity of the food. Trust me I traveled so much and experienced so many Japanese food. Salmon teriyaki is a must try as well as beef teriyaki. Shrimps and vegetable tempura was also great. The amount was huge for the price. And miso soup was perfect! Love this place will definitely come back again!
