Mama Rose’s Pizzeria

This place used to be pretty good a few years back. I just ordered chicken wings, potato wedges and a cheese pizza for my kids for the first time in a while and the wings and potato wedges where gross! They tasted like they were microwaved. Pizza was OK but The delivery time was an hour and 20 minutes. I won’t be back

This place has the best Pizza in Murrieta by far. Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. Bread sticks and wings are also awesome. It was my 1^st time here but I will definitely be a regular.

My wife and I wandered in one day while we were in the area. We got a medium 3 topping because of a special they had and some mozzarella sticks. The guy who helped us was really friendly and the service was fast. The mozzarella sticks were really good. The pizza though was great. We had mushroom and bacon. They were not skimpy on the bacon at all. Whole experience was great. I just wish we had one closer to home so we could eat here more often. We did decide that when ever we are in the area we will be stopping in again.

Mama Rose’s was a great host to our work party of about 30 people. The owners and staff were very attentive and laid back. We had more people than expected and stayed much later than expected. We stayed past their normal business hours without even realizing it but they were great and let us keep ordering food and drinks. Thanks!

I really enjoy going to mama roses pizzeria. They have a really great staff and family environment. I really love their fresh baked pizza, especially straight out of the oven it just melts as you bite in to it. I highly recommend them for a quick bite or a family night out with the family and friends they have you covered. Thank you mama rose

This place use to be ranked back in 2012 as one of the top 3 best tasting Pizzas in the inland empire. The owners then sold out for big money taking their recipe with them. The Pizza is now terrible. What a shame. I miss that old fashion home made sauce and flavor. Only reason this place gets a star is because Unilocal makes you enter at least one star.

3 years ago this place was delicious but after my family and i came back from overseas it just isn’t the same. As sin as we came back we went here 1^st and sadly it was just a disappointment. After we took our first bite into the pizza we knew there was just something different and missing. Come to find out the place has a new owner and change up the manure which was sad. We called in to make a complain and I left my phone number and was told the manager would call me back. Iv never heard from the manager, it’s sad to see what once was our spot to go to is now turned or to a manner that doesn’t care for the buisness or their customers.

This pizzeria has horrible customer service! We are new to town and after a bad experience a few months ago we decided to give them another try. I called in my order at 7:37 on a Wednesday night for a pickup. I ordered one large pizza and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived there at 8:00, 22 minutes after I phoned in the order. After I paid I was told it was going to be ready in about 8 minutes. I was a little disappointed as I had kids waiting in the car however I sat down at a table knowing it would be out shortly. Keep in mind there was only one family dining in the restaurant. After about 10 minutes of waiting, assuming my pizza would be coming out any second, I see my pizza going into the oven. I walk up to the counter and a gentleman, possibly the owner came to the counter and said «I messed up on another pizza so I had to remake theirs — sorry». Finally at 8:24 they handed me my pizza.
47 minutes for a pizza that I was told would be ready in 15 minutes! I understand things happened, but why not be honest… don’t tell me it will be ready in 8 minutes when you haven’t even made the pizza yet! Unfortunately we like their pizza however after two very poor experiences we will not be going back. There are too many other pizzerias in town.

Great place. It is a coke-​a-​cola place, I prefer Pepsi. The customer service and pizza is awesome! DO NOT USE THEIR ONLINE ORDERING SERVICE! They will not get your order and they are not tech savvy. Bad website. Going in is a better experience.

Pizza is delicious. Salad not so great but they are a pizzeria afterall. Would definitely come again.

I would never order anything but pizza. Three of us went in for lunch and we were the only people there (on a Sunday afternoon). My husband and I had sandwiches and our son had a mini pizza. The cheese pizza was delicious but both sandwiches were bad. I had the meatball sandwich. I think I ate the equivalent of 1 meatball. They were so dense and flavorless, I can only assume they were frozen, and the sauce was bland and boring. I ended up picking the meatballs out and eating a marinara sauce sandwich-​it was much better that way. My husband had an Italian sandwich which was bone-​dry. We found out later that there should have been Italian dressing on it but even if it had, it wouldn’t have been enough to make it tasty.

Great pizza, great service. Our family had a delicious sausage pepperoni pizza. It’s my kids new favorite place to get their pizza fix. Nice neighborhood restaurant with reasonable prices.

Great ambiance for our group party, good service. Good chicken Caesar salad, margarita pizza needs salt, otherwise good!

Pizza crust is entirely coated in cornmeal. Not just a light sprinkling on the bottom. It’s like tearing through raw polenta on your pizza crust. Gross. We will not be back.

Update: Owner basically told Grub Hub to kick rocks and said they refuse to give us any compensation or refund. Owner is rude and doesn’t care about his customers or the crap food they serve. Successfully filed a dispute with our bank. I will be spreading the word about this HORRIBLE restaurant.
One word: Gross! DO NOT EAT HERE!!!
How anybody can give this place a good review is beyond me! The good reviews are by people that know them.
My order:
Mozarella sticks: RAW
Anti-​Pasta: No dressing, missing Salami, tomatoes old and mushy, mushrooms raw and weird tasting.
Raviolis: Barely sauced and definitely from frozen
Chicken Parmigiano dinner with side of spaghetti: Didn’t come with the soup, no flavor in the parmigiano, spaghetti was bland (as in NO SEASONING) and water logged.
Delivery took an hour and a half.
To top it all off, when I called and spoke to the owner to complain, he was not remorseful. Said I got two dressings (ummm since when is marinara a dressing) and he was not apologetic for the bad food, forgotten items or slow delivery time. He offered 15% off our next meal, something that I could get if I checked into Unilocal.When I said I didn’t want to return, EVER, he said «Oh well, that’s all I am offering». I know good Italian food and this is pretty much as far off the mark as possible. My family is in the restaurant business and we would never treat a customer like this, EVER. I complained to Grub Hub, so I hope they can get farther than I did. A call to my credit card company is next, the food went in the trash!
Do not eat here, ever. These review have to be fixed, trust the one stars and the replies by the owner himself to them. It speaks, VOLUMES!

Mama Rose’s was the first place we ordered pizza from when moving to this town. Self-​described as the «best pizza in town» by many, we’d dined in and picked up a few pies the first couple years. The pizza is good, the service is okay. For groups of people, it’s a decent place to go to and order a family meal with salad, drinks and pizza to enjoy on the patio. Wings are fine, and they have lunch as well as happy hour specials. Though the location is in an aging mall and the last couple of times I’ve been in the customers ran thin, they’re still around, which is admirable in itself.

Ordered delivery, gentlemen on the phone was EXTREMELY helpful and patient with me. I was quoted a 35 – 45 minute delivery time but it ended up being close to an hour. Which is fine since I know things come up. Once my driver got here I asked for $ 5 in change, which would’ve left him a $ 5 tip. He didn’t have $ 5 in change only $ 4. While yes it’s only a dollar but what kind of delivery service doesn’t have basic proper change (a 10, 1 five and 5 ones).
The food was decent. Did not like the mozzarella sticks, they were kind of soggy. The pizza (Hawaiian) was a 3 out of 5. Not a fan of their crust, I think they use cornmeal and not flour (some like some don’t). LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THE CHEESE STICKS!!! THEY WERE AMAZING!!! I would for sure order them again!
I’m still going to order another time but going to try something different. They have an extensive menu and I know everyone has an off day
