Unfortunately will not return to this Firehouse Subs location and it is not due to the food but the rudeness of the staff. My sister and I stopped here on Friday a little after noon — there were only 2 other people together at a table but it was obvious they were filling a large to go order. This was not the problem and we would have been patient and glad to wait if only 1 of the 5 people working there had so much as acknowledged our presence. There was no «we will be with you shortly», no eye contact at all! We waited at the counter for at least 10 minutes(probably more like 15) before deciding we were tired of being treated so rudely and left — not one word was said as we exited. Definitely not the way to run a business

Everyone kept raving about Firehouse subs, and we’ve seen different ones around. Being new to texas, we weren’t familiar with this chain. Oh em gee. I’m here now and I have to say. I can’t wait to come back. And I’m here sitting in the restaurant. I texted the hubs because he would be in heaven here. THEYFREAKENSTEAMTHEMEATS. It is so tender that it just melts in your mouth. I got the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket. Just a party in my mouth. The guys who work here are super nice too. This will definitely become a regular place for us. My only regret is not coming in sooner!

I used to love Firehouse when I worked in Frisco years ago. I went to this location recently and it’s just not what I remember. The bread didn’t seem as good and the sandwich I ordered was just okay — really nothing special. Also, it took a very long time to get 2 sandwiches brought out to us. I doubt I will return.

The King’s Hawaiian Pork & Slaw is the best thing I have tried so far. I always like to try something different when I eat here, but this may be hard to pass up in the future.

Always good! Doesn’t matter which sandwich you get but some of our favorites are the meatball sub, hook & ladder, the steamer is also delicious.

The Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket is where it’s at! So delicious! I’d give the restaurant at least 4 stars simply for that sandwich! If you’re looking for something healthier, unfortunately the chicken salad sandwich was less impressive.

I think I like this location as far as it not being so packed vs. Firewheel area location. Honestly, my order has never been wrong and the service is fast. Compared to Subway, the sandwiches are tastier on my opinion. The cookies are good but too pricey for what you get.

I tried this place 3 times and the same 3 times my sandwiches were very soggy. I don’t know if those kids who work there get distracted by talking to each other but my sandwich was almost like soup. Maybe too much dressing? ?? I don’t order much dressing at all but that’s how I have gotten. Haven’t been back.

I like this place. I know it’s hard to screw up a sub, but I have seen it done. As far as chain sub places I think this is WAY better than Subway. The meat is steamed and the whole sub gets heated so it comes out nice and warm. The flavor is great as well. Prices are comparable to other chain sub shops, and the family has gone here about 6 – 7 times. It is busy on the weekends and they seem to still do a good job. The setup of the restaurant itself is the only awkward thing. It’s built like a shotgun house with half of the place taken up by the employee/sub building work area. They have 2 doors(front and back) but if someone is trying to get out you have to definitely wait for the folks to clear out before planning on entering.

I have heard a few whispers here and there about how great Firehouse Subs is, so I decided to take a look. To be honest my expectations were not that high(another sandwich shop?). Unfortunately, my fears were confirmed because this sub shop is just mediocre. The interior is trends towards kitsch. Some firefighting uniforms hang on a wall. Lots of red paint, red tables with Dalmatian patterns, and white tiles. The layout at this location is somewhat lacking. The distance between the seating area and the ordering area is tiny, probably only wide enough to accommodate one person, so there are some questionable ergonomics here. The place has some nice high ceilings so it’s pretty airy. During the afternoons the sun would’ve torched the place, but luckily someone had the insight to install sunshades for the west facing floor to ceiling windows. The sandwiches are pretty mediocre. The bread is the spongy, foamy variety found at Subway, Quizno’s and Potbelly. The flavors are pretty generic and unremarkable. The meats taste pretty good. Unfortunately their wide array of hot sauces is not enough to bring me back. It’s a cute touch though(fires are hot, hot sauce is hot, I get it!) The best subs are still found at Jersey Mike’s(all around quality), Jimmy John’s(fastest subs) and Great Outdoors(best tasting subs).

One of the better Sub Chains there is. Very high quality meat at this location. I met the manager and he is a very gracious host even comping me a drink on my first visit through. Again the meat in my mind really makes these sandwiches. They may not have all the Variable selection of a subway, but the sandwich as a package just works, with little reason to tweak any of them. Whenever I crave a sub now its a firehouse sub, and well I am willing to pay an extra $ 2-$ 3 for it.

I love this place, and having steamed meats gives their sandwiches a unique flavor compared to Subway and Quiznos. One thing I like about this place is the abundance of hot sauces available, many of which you probably never heard of unless you’re a connoisseur of the spicy liquid. A fair warning, some of the sauces are just downright nasty(I’m talking flavor wise, not their heat profile) so try a little bit on a bite or two before slathering it all over your sandwich until you find the one(s) you like.

These are the best subs. The meat and the bread are consistently better than other sub shops I have been to. The layout is odd, but I usually order to go anyway. Meatballs sandwich is amazing, and after that, I usually order the Firehouse Hero fully involved. The Lemon Cooler cookies are good, and love the coke machines with all the flavor choices. Slowly making my way through those :)

I first heard of Firehouse subs when they came to the high school to offer the booster clubs a discount box lunch for the students. Me being the president for the AFJROTC I was delighted to find an easy option for the kids to take on away games and to pass out even for home games and competitions etc. The total price for the box lunches are only $ 5.00 this includes either a turkey or a ham on white or wheat, a bag of chips, a cookie and a water! It’s a great deal. Now, when I came back just for my own family I ordered and what I got tasted so much better then the box lunches due to the fact that the meats where steamed on the one I got that day. Just amazing taste and I’m not a huge fan of sandwiches. Fresh and hearty. Just yummy that’s about all I can say. However, I hate paying nearly $ 9.00 for a sandwich, chips and a drink. I don’t know why I have such a hang up about this but I do. So, I took away a star just for the cost. Also the set up is a little odd and can cause some congestion at the register making it hard to get to the soda machines and bathrooms. On the food alone its by far a 5 star on the other issues. well, brings it down a bit.

We loved this place and miss it a lot since moving out of state. The food was great, customer service amazing, and fast service. I did ask for a changing station myself but I solved this«little problem» by making sure my baby was clean and happy before going into this place.

I agree with the previous posts, the layout of this place is a little silly. Makes it awkward to go get a refill if there is a line. I would have rated a 3* but I think the 2* rating is unfair b/c there was no changing station. That seems like a pretty poor reason to rate a 2*, especially seeing as a changing station is a courtesy not a requirement. So I’m trying to make up for that. The food is solid. I tried ½ of my bf’s meatball and he had the other ½ of my turket sandwich. They both came out piping hot, rather tasty, and made to order. The staff was helpful and friendly. What more can you really want?

Yes, the set up is not the BEST, but the subs are great. Best sub shop I’ve had. I’ve tried Subway, Jimmy John’s, Quizno’s, Jersey Mike’s, etc and this one rates #1 above all these. The Hook ‘N Ladder is sooo delicious. Not sure if it’s the sweet taste in the wheat bread or the sweet taste in the meats, but it is GOOD. YUMYUM. This is my new quick, somewhat healthy, fast food chain for lunch.

I like Fireshouse Subs food but this location is just not set up very well. The space were you stand in line to order blocks the walkway for the majority of the dining area from the drink machine and restrooms so you have to shuffle people around to get by. The tables in the dining area are uncomfortably close together. I do like their food but usually order for carryout from this location.

I hate to pick on Firehouse, but alas, I have to. I’ll be short and sweet however. I ordered the italian sub and it was made with sweet maple or honey ham. It was very odd and out of place on an italian sub. But my big complaint is the lack of an infant changing station in the restroom. If you have small children, you will have to either change them on the dirty floor(EW) or take them back out to the car. Not ok.
