Very busy so expect a wait. Food was average. Service was great. Would go again.

Good food, chicken is very delicious, had to wait but that was due to the time of the day we showed up. Overall 4 stars

It was delicious. Great service, fairly decent prices for the quantity of food. I did have to use the restroom before leaving, use caution with their tile floor. It was extremely slick and dangerous around the fixtures or where it was wet. I told the cashier and she said it’s always like that but she would have someone service them. I would definitely go back again to this restaurant.

I love Demos’!!! The spaghetti sauces are amazing! They will actually give you a free sample of all of their sauces. Mmmm! Yum yum yum! My favorite is the chicken Cajun sauce. Last time I was here, I ordered the Ribeye, which is very good. I’ve had the Italian Sausage Spaghetti — yum! I’ve also had the Seafood Baked Potato dish. That is also very good!(They do use imitation crab, but there is just so much amazing Alfredo sauce that you can’t tell. This is the only thing I would change.) The bread is amazing! Be sure to dip it in the sauces. Yum!

My companions and I had gone out to eat at this fine venue for the first time. Everyone had ordered the seafood pasta while I ordered The Baked Chicken. When it came out it was literally cold and the sauce was hard and you can actually see the fat and oil from the chicken. I gave it back to my server and they said they cannot simply put it in a cheap microwave and reheat it. Truthfully I didn’t like the service and I am very high maintenance, so instead I threw the chicken at my server’s face, but then he dodged and landed on a poor girls head. And then left the restaurant. In other words. Bad service and Bad food. Don’t eat there!

Never thought I would post a review like this of Demos. Over 20 years in town, go to place for takeout when someone in the family was sick. Went tonight to sit down on a whim with the family. Ordered the small hamburger steak and zucchini. Waiter got it wrong and brought a petite sirloin. Sent it back to get what I ordered. Not in the mood for real beef tonight. Family had finished their meal. Called waiter over to just cancel the hamburger steak(just put the side of zucchini on the bill, it is phenomenal and hit the spot) when out comes the hamburger steak and another batch of zucchini. Have them box it up for tomorrow’s lunch. Manager comes over and apologizes etc. Go to check out and look at the bill. Hamburger steak in on the bill, as it should be since it is lunch for tomorrow plus zucchini yea! However, the price is a buck more than the menu price. I point it out to the guy running the register. Ask for the menu and point out the correct price. He can’t change it and calls for the manager. Yes, same manager lady that apologized. ANDHEREISTHEREASON I WONTBEBACK. «I must be mistaken and looked at the lunch menu.» Confirmed by register dude that no, it was in the dinner menu. «Well, I’ll just take it off since you had the original problem.» NO, TAKETHEBUCKOFFYOUAREOVERCHARGING. I AMHAPPYTOPAYFORWHAT I AMTAKINGHOME. So tired of the«I’m gonna prove your wrong at all cost» attitude by 30 something restaurant managers in the ‘Boro. I have to believe that this is because Peter D is more concerned by the restaurant that bears his name than the reputation of the restaurant that gave him his start. I’m sure his Mom and Dad would be embarrassed to stand front of house these days.

Sent back my bacon wrapped filet because it was a little under cooked. I had already eaten my side of zuchinni. Then my server brought the filet back and brought another side of zuchinni! Delicious and good service.

The best restaurant in town by far. Not only is the food delicious but it’s really affordable too. My favs are the blackened chicken pasta, Greek chicken pasta, or any of the steaks. They put the best season on their steaks. Our fam visits a few times a month. Go early though cause the line is long.

Normally love this place. However steak had very little flavor and was cooked more medium than medium-rare. Baked potato was black about half way down(couldn’t see it from the outside or until you started mixing the potato with butter, sour cream, etc) Will return as I know things happen. Just disappointed as this was my birthday dinner.

We got take out from Demos tonight cause we were given a gift card. We stopped eating there a while ago due to the mismanagement of Peter Demos. Before he took over the portions were bigger and food quality was great. Not the best food I ever have eaten but consistent enough for us to come back. My wife and I do love the Greek style chicken sauce. We barely had any on our pasta. The chicken was dry. The spinach dip appetizer was a total of like 8 chips and very small portion of spinach for $ 6.49. The famous chicken soup tastes like pudding instead of soup. The portions literally looked like a handful of pasta. This is similar to the reasons we stopped coming. We will never eat here again. This place was way better when the parents ran it. They believed in good portions and quality food.

Good service and great food, every time!!! Their bread is always fresh, salads always fresh! I’ve never had a problem with my steaks being cooked anything less than perfect! The host/hostess could be more personable, that’s the only thing that I think could use some more coaching!

I have eaten at Demo’s Restaurants since 1993. I live back in South Florida now but I come up here several times a year and eating at Demos is now a regular tradition. The food and service is generally consistent location to location. Middle Tennessee is very fortunate to have this Dining Treasure!

Although the history of Demos’ began in 1943, this was our first time getting a taste of Demos’. When reviewing the menu it appeared a little Greek & a little Italian. Started with the spinach dip, loved the dip not a fan of the chips — actually tasted better on the fresh house bread. We we ordered the lasagna it appeared more on the Greek side –I have been blessed to visit Greece 3 times & as the waitress brought the order to the table immediately thought Pastitsio. I enjoyed the Blackened chicken pasta. For dessert we enjoyed the blueberry delight(decomposed blueberry cheese cake). We had a wonderful waitress Katie. She was very knowledgable of the menu, she brought us some samples of her different types of sauces. Katie made this first time visit one to remember. Can’t believe after all these years we never stop to try this restaurant, glad we decided to stop while in Murfreesboro.

Excellent food and excellent service. I was told to go there and try the steak, but when I saw how many sauces they had for the pasta, I had to try the lasagna. The best lasagna I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Our server, Courtney, was very nice and very beautiful. Very recommended.

This place is not known for its steaks. If it once was, the net legacy is long gone! Now I will say that the soup and the fresh rolls or slap your mama good! My niece was literally just go there just to eat the soup! But beyond that I’ve had almost everything on the menu from their chicken to their pasta to their seafood to their steaks and I have to say I’m not very impressed. What shocked me is people talk about this place like it’s God’s gift to humanity when it comes to food but sadly I have to beg to differ the only time I’ll never go to dimas’s is this someone else is paying. And I would recommend that you do the exact same thing because he a free meal taste better than any other million ever had maybe everyone who’s ever gone here has had their meal pay for them who knows?

Dont eat here if you care about what you eat. The food is all so bland. I think there sauces come out of a cans. I dont understand all the great reviews. How can this many people like this chain? But then people like McDonalds.

Husband and I were visiting from out of town and this was one our favorite places to eat while living here. I love their rolls with their chicken rice soup, perfect combo! We came during lunch and he had the roasted chicken, which looked huge, and I first got the brown butter spaghetti. I ended up sending it back because well I just didn’t taste like much. I tried it off a suggestion from here and not again! Lol, got the tilapia instead and it was much better. I definitely miss this place back home, it’s yummy and affordable!

Great hamburger steaks, sirloin, and pastas! I almost always order a hamburger steak with brown butter spaghetti or grilled zucchini. Their rolls are always fresh and super tasty. Be sure to pair it with their chicken and rice soup! I do wish their service was better and they didn’t treat their employees poorly.

The fact that this place has so many 5-star reviews, says a lot about Murfreesboro. I just don’t see the appeal… at all. NOTHING I’ve ever ordered here has been good. The soup is all broth(and cold), the bread is soggy because it’s soaked in butter, the salad was just a plate full of iceberg lettuce with a plastic cup of ranch sitting next to it, the pasta was soooo bland you’ll thank the stars above salt & pepper is free, and the steak was chewy and dry. I honestly believe the people around here are«trained», like mindless zombies, to eat here simply because of its outdated local tradition. Definitely an older, senior crowd, which proves my point. Back in the day, the Demo’s chain was one of the only options. So, all those people who frequented this place way back when, are still visiting simply because they don’t know any better… not because the food is good. Because it’s not. I do not recommend. Start your own tradition somewhere else at a restaurant that deserves your money.

First off even though we screwed up our order they fixed it with no complaints. Second I have been coming here for years and have never had a bad meal. If it is not right they will fix it as long as you tell them and are courteous about it. I have seen several reviews on here with questionable validity. The parking lot always seems full but the wait is hardly ever over 10 to 20 minutes. Yes, it tends to be a family tradition place to eat but there is a little something for everyone here, adults and children alike.
