Food is easily as impressive as the beer. If you’re not coming here regularly, your soul might be damned to hell.

Yesterday was my third time here! I had a group of 11 total and it was a Wednesday night. We got seated in ten mins and the service was great. I had the poutine and the tacos. Everything was amazing! The tacos are a bit greasy but still super delicious. I tried some of my friends green bean sales and it was amazing as well. The beer is also good! Not so sure why there’s so many bad reviews about the service

I have been to the Brewpub a few times, even once for a themed Conan the Barbarian night of food and beer pairings. Yes, there are usually lines; but, not always and yes, no one wants to wait in lines; but, the reality is that usually the best of things have lines — this is not new, so of course, there will always be a slew of winers who mention how they weren’t treated like the king or queen they think they are and they had to wait in a line… or they complain about how 3 Floyds beers are so hard to get. The reality is that 3 Floyds offers fantastic beers, e.g., Permanent Funeral, Arctic Panzer Wolf, Zombie Dust, Alpha King, etc., in addition to offering fantastic food, such as cheese curds with Robert the Bruce dipping sauce(think it was a mustard), BBQ beef jerky, brisket tacos, etc. Whether I’m eating and drinking the brewpub or buying beer to-go at the kiosk, I’ve always been treated without any attitude, self-righteousness, cockiness or intention. Yes, I have stood in their lines and it’s worth the wait. Get some patience people and maybe even have a conversation with a stranger in line vs. standing there texting all your friends and posting on Facebook just how long the line is… Keep up the great work 3 Floyds!!!

This was my third time coming in. Not only do I like the beer and food, but I love the way the place is decorated. We came in on Friday night and had a few beers, ordered a delicious pepperoni pizza, and watched a scary movie on the TV there. The pizza was out of this world! The place was pretty packed but we were able to get seated fairly quickly. The waitstaff was prompt and friendly.

I love the beer, they have a slew of tasty beers as well as good bar food, but the waitress was a bloody bitch! I asked about flights, she said it was only four preselected beers. I made a friendly comment saying I’d love to have more choices, then she snapped«that’s not going to happen, these are your only choices». She maybe cute, but she had no people skills.

This place not only has unique food(which was out of this world amazing) but all of the beer we tried and had was consistently well crafted and balanced . Our food : Lamb meat balls: when you first bite this it just tastes good, once you finish chewing and swallow it gives you a bit of spice… a-mazing Wings: dry rub wings were so good. Just tasted subtle and good. Different from the standard«buffalo wings» these were well thought and planned. Not your avg. chicken wing. Mac and cheese: this Mac and cheese was yummy on its own accord but also had delicious pulled pork in it — I ate past the point of being full. Parmesan fries — not greasy, perfect blend of potato and cheese(I ended up dipping them in the super green and yummy tahini sauce from the lamb meat balls(see above) . The girl at the front was super nice, we sat at the bar after showing her our ID(all customers must show ID) had a very nice bartender that was very knowledgeable. This place was fantastic and will always be a stop for us when we travel between Ohio and Wisconsin. BEER: we tried lots!!! All the beer was great, even if my husband and I disagreed on if we liked something or not we both could agree the beer was well balanced, thought out and well crafted. Multiple double IPAs — each distinct.

Five stars for the beer. 3.5 for the food. They are unwilling to make ANY substitutions. Even something as simple as «no mayo.» And the food is oddly eclectic. Even for a foodie. But most of what I have ordered is good and the Parmesan fries are delicious! Be prepared for a long wait on the weekends and possibly during lunch.

Exceeded all expectations. This is a five hour drive for us, and we will be back. Every food we tried was delicious. The Poutine was amazing and I would order the brisket tacos every day of my life. The burger was one of my top five favorites of all burgers. We even loved the popcorn and cheese plate. No problems with customer service. We did have about a 20 min wait but we were told 45 when we walked in, so pleasant surprise. My only negative comment is that the music detracted from my enjoyment of the food. It was very head-bangin rock, which has its place, but Saturday afternoon lunch just isn’t it for me.

I have to be honest about my experience here: I was disappointed. While I adore Three Floyds Beer, the tap house was lacking with regard to customer service. I am the kind of person who is incredibly uncomfortable around crowds, so I stepped inside to see what was on tap. I was approached by a person working there and told I needed to leave because there is no standing room in the brew pub. So I left without spending monies or going to the side car store to buy some bottles for the weekend. I’m sure they have their reasons for not wanting standing room. I’ve personally never heard of such a rule in any brew pub. Perhaps they have gotten so large, that they no longer care? But when it’s cold out and everyone is huddled in the waiting area(which was also without heat), this kind of treatment is not acceptable. Pro Tip: Drink the beer, but not at this tap house.

We have been here a few times to get just beer. We drive over 2 hours(totally worth it) and this time, we decided to eat in the brew pub. Typically, a brew pub will have either good beer or good food — you don’t find many that have both. Three Floyds mostly definitely has both! We got the beef jerky as an appetizer — oh my, delicious! It was warm and so tasty. I got the burger(could only eat ½) — delicious. My husband got the meat platter — two thumbs up. We also got the fries — the only thing that was just mediocre. With 3 beers, a bottle of root beer and all of that food, the bill was around $ 52. The service was very good as well. The brew pub was lively for a Tuesday right when the opened. There were a LOT of kids. If you are on the fence about eating here, just climb in over and do it. You won’t regret it!

If you like beer, then this is worth the trip and wait! I take the trip a few times a year, literally just to go to Three Floyds. Yes you will have to wait in line, even if you show up a bit before it opens, they cannot let everyone in at once. Think about it… if they let everyone in at once, then they would overwhelm the staff and you could just sit at your table for awhile without anyone acknowledging your existence. That isn’t the kind of service they want to give you because they want to make sure you get excellent service. That is something I can respect. Sorry if I seemed a bit harsh, it just makes me sad when a place gets less stars because they are trying to give you excellent customer service. People love this place and a line speaks volumes of its popularity. Dress warm if it is cold out and expect to wait in line. I can tell you it will all be worth it though. I recommend to anyone that goes to sit at the bar. The bartender, Greg, is super friendly and knowledgable. He will explain anything you need and will help you pick something of your liking! The food is exceptional. Probably the best food I have ever had at a brewery. It could be to the level of fine dining without the suit and tie. Just wonderfully done and well thought out! Always tons of beers on tap, they even feature a few beers from other breweries! You are bound to like something! My only negativity and it is the same every time, is that every time I go they have never have women’s shirts smaller than a large and even then it is left overs in the back! Please carry smaller sized clothing! I would buy it all! Size small PLEASE!!!

Was told food was good so had to try. Seemed nice inside. Lots of parking. They even have carry out(left door). If you go alone you have to sit at the over crowed small bar with more seats then bar space. I asked about an empty table as they were a few and were slow. Told him I was new. The seater guy was even doing nothing when I walked in cause of slow time. Stated singles only sit at bar. I stated their is no eblow room in between those people to even sit at chair. He seemed to agree. Like 10 chairs in a 10 — 15 bar table. Just jammed as many chairs as could. I went to eat and relax not get elbows into me or people breathing on me or food. I told the seater guy no thank you. I then spoke to take out manger as leaving he seemed not to care or be interested. Other customers agreed I was talking to. I left. Great customer service. Keep your empty tables empty rather then seating customers. Not everyone their is going to drink or get drunk to care. I went to eat and left hungry.

Four stars because I had to wait in line for 45 minutes in the cold for two cases of Zombie Dust. Five stars for the food which far exceeded my expectations. My table got the Munster Poutine fries to split, we all loved them! I got the brisket tacos which taste 2x’s better than they looked in the low lighting when they sat them down in front of me. Other meals at our table included the 3 floyd’s burger and the steak sandwich both were also raved for. Finally their beer selection is excellent, I recommend trying a couple of beers while you’re there.

Not sure if the drive out to Munster is worth it for me. 1. I’m not a beer drinker. 2. The food was blah. 3. Parking sucks. With that being said, If a friend was having an event here, yes, I would go but if I couldn’t make it, I don’t think I’d be missing out.

Finally made it to the Floyds. This beer is tough to find, but always good when found. Coming here to pay homage to the 3 Fs was worth the trip for me as we got to sample several or their offerings. Pro Tip: They might not offer flights, but you can order half-pints which allows you to sample more and retain your palette. They have about 15 house drafts, and another 10 or so guest drafts, plus a decent bottle selection. I enjoyed the Yum Yum, Alpha King, Gumballhead and Zombie Dust. The Backmasking was strong but pretty good. The War Mullet was just okay in my opinion(it grows on you as you drink it). The Chevalier and Pear Bear are sours and worth a small sample. The food menu is pretty good with lots to choose from. I had the cubano sandwich which was great with tasty fries that are dusted with cheese(talk about yum yum). My friend had the pulled chicken sandwich and seemed to enjoy it. They have 6 packs and bombers of different beers for take away, and believe me, you will be carrying some out. Now I just hope I can fit all of this in my luggage and they make it safely home so I can share some 3Fs love with my friends.

I’m a huge fan of Three Floyds. If you were to open my fridge at this very moment you would find it stocked with Apocalypse Cow, Space Station Middle Finger, Yum Yum and Arctic Panzer Wolf. While other people dream of Disney World, I dream of a magical land filled with Three Floyds beers. So making the trip from Indianapolis to Munster to visit Three Floyds was a dream come true for me. The beer is excellent and the tap list is amazing. They offer many of their flagship beers like Zombie Dust and Alpha King but the highlight for me was tasting all of the beers exclusive to the pub. On the downside you can’t enjoy a beer from the bar while waiting for your table. Also, spots at the bar are on the seating rotation so don’t expect to come and grab an open spot — you will be denied. Onto the food. That red potato, sausage and cheesy side dish! I know it’s only a side but for whatever reason I can’t seem to get it off of my mind. It may have been pricey for a side dish but I would get it again! I liked that you could buy beer for carryout — bombers($ 8-$ 12), 6 packs($ 10), and cases($ 40). Apparently you can buy Zombie Dust for carryout however you have to get there early and obviously it’s limited. We also signed up for the tour. It was super short, like as in 30 minutes short. Not sure if it was due to the current expansion under construction but it was a bit of a let down. Also, no beer is allowed on the tour which just made me sad. On the upside, it was cool to learn that brewer Nick Floyd started brewing beer with a unique random assortment of wok burners and Swiss cheese fermenters. If you ever get the opportunity(I still have yet to get a golden ticket) you simply must come out for Dark Lord Day(aka nector of the gods/highly coveted liquid delight). This event is always held in April and it a must for any beer lover.

After all the hype surrounding the name, I was weary about visiting the brewery. I’d heard the staff wasn’t the friendliest and the wait time for a table would be at least an hour. They proved the rumors wrong! Got a table right away. We didn’t want to break the bank since we planned on leaving with a few cases, so we opted for the scotch egg and a burger with everything delicious. The food was impeccable. The beer list was surprisingly plentiful and I fell in love with a Belgian-gnomish ale, ‘Fraggo’. We noticed the cases of zombie dust were going quick, so we got in a short line to grab our 2/per person. We opted for a variety and left with empty pockets, but it was all worth it. All in all, I’m really glad we decided to swing by. It’s a fun experience that involves beer. What more could a girl ask for?
