Love, love, love this Walgreens! I can only speak to the pharmacy and the drive-​thru, seeing as I have never actually been inside the store, but I have been so pleased thus far. The Walgreens closest to my home fills prescriptions at a snail’s pace, actually, snails might be faster. Anyway, I started coming to this one instead, and I’m so glad I did! The staff is attentive to my prescription needs, fills them quickly, and the location is convenient. What more could you ask for?

Walgreens is a Chicagoland mainstay:
I haven’t been to this Walgreen’s since my health insurance provider said that we couldn’t purchase our meds from them. It was some kind of tug of war battle that both parties played and it appears that my insurance company won.
We now use another nearby place (Target) for our prescriptions so I’m guessing this is the case for others like me. I do have to say that they are the same that they have been before. They of course have prescription meds, greeting cards, cosmetics, candy, quick stop stuff and more. The staff here is friendly or at least they haven’t giving me a hard time :-).
I recently came here for sugar free hard candy for my mom which the other place didn’t have. I just can’t win :-). In fact one of the guys at Target mentioned that he thinks he purchased his sugar free hard candy at Walgreen’s.
Oh well for now I’ll continue to go to Target for our meds and this place for moms sugar free hard candy.
