Food: 4⁄5 Used to be 5 star for me, when the food was hot, now it’s starting to lack and it’s cold, but the mongolian grill makes up for it which makes up a lot for me Service: 4⁄5 Pretty good, they bring you drinks and pick up plates regularly EDIT: REDSUNHASBEENCLOSED!

Even blazing before lunch doesn’t help me enjoy this place anymore. I understand foodcosts and the unremarkable Hoosier feed-trough palate, but any last vestige of Chinese cuisine has been eradicated. Perhaps if you have an Asiatic cook from the back take over from the obviously Mexican chap at the Mongolian grill, you can get something made authentically, but who has the time? I love bad Chinese, but the preponderance of pizza, mac and cheese, french fries, tacos(?), jello, etc makes me wonder why I’m not at Sirloin Stockade. Typically, I fill up on bad sushi at buffets like this, but on my last lunch outing(Oct 1, ’08), there was none to be had. Still, however, there were mussels, which I dared not try. Sure, there are plenty of breaded, fried things drenched in red, brown, or white sauces, but I’m not 8 years old. Not even the lo mein or Singapore style rice noodles were any good. I’m better suited ordering off the menu from China Ex or the longtime champion Szechuan Garden.

Real good place for Chinese food. Mongolian grill and if you go in at night there is steak on the buffet. And the mongolian grill is in the daytime as well… unlike some other chinese places in Muncie. Most of the waitresses are pretty friendly and drink selection is good. Food is delicious. If you haven’t been in there then you should check it out. More laid back and not as flashy as some of the chinese places in Muncie.
