Good selection of meats, breads and general goods. My folks particularly like to visit from out of town and peruse the old time candy section! Very helpful folks working the counters too!

Just a tip for those who think their meat products are raised and processed by them giving them some sort of advantage of that bought in supermarkets. In order to do this, they must have what is called a USDA Establishment number which means the processing facility is licensed by the USDA and is inspected on a regular basis and may wholesale meat to move on to retail for human consumption. I might suggest you ask to see the box or wrapper product was in to dispell any thought they are the producer/processor by searching for the USDA Est#. Their prices are above average hanging their hat on their«country image» Food at the restaurant, nothing to write home about. Can do just as well at a local diner! Obviously, quite a way from«scratch cooking» as many believe. Too much what appears to be processed and frozen foods. «Scratch“starts from raw, cooked and unprocessed ingredients to make the entire entrée at hand. Not impressed. However, the bakeries have great pastries and breads but way overpriced. Annen’s Shoprite down the street has just as good bakery products at almost ½ the price.

Love the market. Just wish the hours were longer. Best to get there at the crack of the a.m. on Saturday to avoid lines and sell out of the mac-n-cheese and other crowd favorites. You can also pre order meats and holiday meals as well.

I like this place. The market is made up of different vendors all of whom are Amish. They have a bit of everything from fresh baked donuts to a large selection of meats. The soft pretzels are always good. They sell milk in glass bottle and it is very good. They are a little more expensive than the local supermarket but not much. Absolutely worth the time to stop in.

I came to the Amish Market on a Thursday night. I wanted to check it out because I used to live near one while growing up. It was very similar to the one I experienced as a child. There are different sections which serve different types of food: meat, seafood, produce, candy, baked goods, ice cream, etc. the pretzel station is the best. Try the pepperoni and cheese pretzel log. You won’t be disappointed. There is also a large section with furniture, home décor, and pet supplies. It was fun to walk around and buy things, and the wait was never too long. Kids would love the pretzel and candy sections.

I’ve never been here but their food finds it’s way onto my plate when I visit family and stay for dinner. Love the beets w/eggs and the cranberry relish/sauce.

I don’t want to knock all the vendors at the Amish market because I generally have a great experience every time that I come to the market. I will say that the service at Kurtzy’s has slowed down a bit since they merged with the restaurant and the prices at the produce stand seem to have risen a little bit when compared to the produce you can get at the supermarket. However, I had a bad experience at Yoder’s today that I needed to share. Yoder’s advertises their monthly pig roast on facebook. I just went to Yoders BBQ and bought two quarts of pig roast and noticed the sign said that a quart was $ 12.95. I told the counter person that they were advertising the price as $ 11.95 and she laughed and said, «yeah we changed it.» I said, «but it is being advertised at $ 11.95.» She smiled and said, «we made it $ 12.95 this weekend.» I get that it is only a dollar, but that is no way to do business. If you advertise something at a price then you should honor that price. I am sure the pig roast will be delicious, but the transaction left a bad taste in my mouth(see what I did there). Oh … and they did not put the sauce I requested in the bag. Very disappointed in my Yoder’s experience today — 1 star for them.

The foodie in me was excited when I first went here, but soon found disappointment in how unauthentic it mostly is. I’ve found the only thing worth eating here are the donuts. Baked goods, while above a grocery bakery, have never wow’d me. Loaves of bread were bland. Pretzels are too greasy. The old fashioned candy section is cute. And quite varied. Handmade items and décor are charming. I’ve eaten breakfast at the restaurant and it’s on par with any other diner. It would be nice if the meats and dairy were Amish(humanely) raised. Also, the(non-organic) produce is overpriced for not being anything above what I could get at Shoprite… I just dont undertand the point of hauling this stock that isn’t much different than a regular grocery store’s…and slapping the name Amish on it with a higher price tag. I find myself often questioning the authenticity of everything.

From the moment you walk in, you are dazzled with sweet scent of the bakery… it is breathtaking! I could spend hours in this market because they have everything and it has all been wonderful… what else can I say? Don’t miss it!

Lots of love for this place it has almost everything you need under one roof! All your basics like fruit, veggies, meats, dairy and eggs. Plus pantry goods, bulk candy, breads and other baked goods. There is an entire stand for donuts, o e for soft pretzels and one for pickles! There is also ample premade foods. Everything is really reasonably priced. The market is entirely indoors and with ample parking. There is also a small dining area. The only downside is i wish they had more organic produce. But overall this is a pretty awesome place.

From fresh made smoothies to donuts made right in front of you to great hoagies and an awesome restaurant to Yoder’s BBQ where you can get ½ lb of chicken and a ½ lb of Mac & Cheese(SERIOUSLYGOODMAC&CHEESE) for $ 5 this place can’t be beat. Sucks so bad they are only open 3 days a week though :/if they extended their hours at least into Sunday that would be awesome!!! But the food is great and I have never had a problem. Cheap prices, great fresh food, and a friendly staff. DONT get caught here on a Saturday morning/early afternoon though because it is straight mayhem!

May be I was mistaken, but I assumed that in Amish market I would be buying pesticides-free local produce and local humanly raised meat and high quality dairy. What I found out(sadly): All the meat is factory farmed and all the produce comes from produce auctions. So, you might just as well go to ShotRite. The whole Amish this is just a front. Yes, Amish people do stand behind the counters, but I doubt they would eat these food they are selling themselves.

I like this market better than the one in Williamstown. I like the step up better. I love getting my milk here; it comes in glass bottles and tastes so much better than the milk in grocery stores. The meat is a good price for the quality. My daughter loves the pickles and she loves watching them make the pretzels. Everyone should go at least once.

This place is great. They have fresh, meats, cheeses, and bakery items. There are also places to sit and eat. Tried the stuffed pretzels today and they were very good. We will be back again next time we are in the area.

The Amish Market in Mullica Hill is a great market, even for the more discerning shopper. Each«stand» is individually owned and operated, and all of the employees are friendly and helpful. There is still plenty of processed food in this building, but even if you’re on a clean, traditional, whole-foods diet, there are a few stands in particular that would piqué your interest. The donut stand is delicious, but full of refined sugars, flours, and oils. Still a great place if you’re looking for a treat, as their wide selection of house-made donuts are only 95¢ apiece(and you can watch the girls make them right in front of you). The breads and bakery treats are also freshly made, as are the pretzels, but be sure to read the ingredient lists. The diner is great for a family brunch! If you go on a Saturday morning, make sure to go early as the wait can be up to 30 minutes. The omelets are great, bread and jams are homemade, and you can substitute fresh fruit for any side. The flower stand has fresh herb plants for sale as well, and the woman who runs it is a peach. You can sample local wines across the way, and there is a great little stand on the other side of the tables called Earthshack that sells lots of earthy art, jewelry, essential oil blends and perfumes, and organic teas. The nut and candy shop has various processed candies and snacks, but you can also find freshly made nut butters(sometimes they’re still warm!), raw local honey, bulk spices, and Bob’s Red Mill baking mixes. I usually skip the middle section — the meats are fresh but not pastured/grass fed or sustainably raised, and the ‘salads’ are good but loaded with sugar. I head right around to Ellie’s Cheese Barn — local organic milk, butter and cream, sometimes even grass-fed. Raw goat cheese is usually available, and they have Nature’s Yoke pastured eggs for $ 4/dozen. Dale does a great job keeping her shop stocked and will even hold items aside for you. She and the girls working for her are all super friendly! Immer Frish Produce is fresh, but a little pricey and usually not organic. But they do have good ciders and fresh pressed juices for sale, and if you go at 3:30 on Saturday you can get the leftovers for super cheap! I love the Amish Market, you just need to know what’s what!

Love this market! We prefer the one in Bridgeton just because of size and parking, but this location has pretty much the same offerings. The restaurant has tasty and well priced food. Donuts and baked goods are awesome, and tons of fresh produce. The parking here is terrible, but Mullica hill is crowded these days…
